If you're looking for value, delicious food, and friendly service, give Burkey Family Restaurant a try. We enjoyed omelets so huge that I had to take half home. Our server was attentive and friendly. Their dinner specials sounded delicious, too. We'll definitely stop in again the next time we're in the neighborhood.

My kids absolutely loved the mac & cheese. We only got one and were all sorta fighting over it. My daughter asked for spinach and mushrooms on her burger and they said no problem, and it was great. Beer battered fish and catfish were real filets and not processed fish parts.
Atmosphere inside and out could use a little work, but it's clean and has soft booths like a diner.
People are nice. I heard from them, that it's recently under new ownership, so if you tried it pre 2024, you might want to try it again.

This restaurant recently changed hands. I had the fried chicken with onion rings and potato salad. It was all fantastic. The potato salad was just like my mom made! If you are looking for great home cooked food, it's here.

Great food , big portions n good price! Excellent service. Good broasted chicken n potatoes. Homemade applesauce n Cole slaw

Come for some home cooking.. but I don't recommend the coffee. Food is very good like home cooking. Coffee is like something free at.. just trust me unless you enjoy free coffee at a homeless shelter. (I think there coffee is better) I honestly can't describe the acidic bitter taste this coffee has. Even the Army has better coffee in BASIC training.

Pork chops, Chicken wings for dinner. Salmon patties, omelets and Italian scramble are my breakfast favorites. Dessert is there specialty.

First time there today & I must say I will be back service was great as well as the food

Party of four seated right away , different omelettes ordered , food came with in 5 - 10 minutes. Big omelettes came with toast and hash browns and a order of biscuits and gravy for the party. Food is delicious and more than generous portions. Fast friendly service. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you receive.

I am grateful this place is still around. Not many restaurants offer home cooked meals now a days wish I had the pictures of my food. If you have not been here, go, you will not be mad at all...

Sunday breakfast buffet is delicious! Omelets made to order right in front of you! The food is hot & fresh. The pastries are to die for and the fruit is crisp & delicious!!!
I've eaten dinner here as well. It's equally as wonderful. Service is fast, friendly, and efficient. What more could a hungry person ask for?!

This lil family restaurant is a great place to get really great service and very reasonably priced meals with a very friendly staff of pleasant people who serve you well. Highly recommend this restaurant for takeout and if applicable dining in.

The food was good enough we went back for lunch the next day. Corn muffins and fried chicken were top 3.

I visited Burkeys lately and the manager "Shawn" waited on me. I was so happy with her service and the way she was responding to the rest of the clientele in the building. Seems like something has changed in the restaurant. All of the other waitresses are smiling:) I enjoyed the food and will be back...Thanks Shawn

Great staff. Down home cooking. Cook is even willing to modify the meal. My wife asked if she could replace her starch with a serving of sauteed spinach and mushrooms.
Staff was willing to help. Pies and brownies are homemade and tasty.

All staff I came in contact was happy, pleasant, cheerful, and very polite. The food was excellent and very generous portions of your food selections, price was very reasonable. The cashier was very informative and a joy to talk with. I'll definitely visit again.

Love this place, food is always good and taste amazing, which for the price is pretty good. Me and my family make this a usual stop for breakfast a least once a week

The staff is friendly and so is the owner. They really know how to make a person feel at home in a restaurant. The food is always amazing and tastes like a home cooked meal. They do an amazing job all the way around.

The food was amazing, service was wonderful, scca the price was reasonable. The only thing I wish was that they label the breakfast buffet items. I thought the chicken livers were something else. While I am not a fan of liver, these better than any I've had. I still didn't like them.
