We had passport service here. It was an awesome experience. He made it so easy for us. Versus the location at 505 north kings Hwy. it was awful… the person there was helpless, careless, and mean 👎🏻

This was my first experience at the United States Post Office in Socastee,SC. It truly was a pleasure. The clerk was pleasant, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. I was mailing a package and was in and out. I had no wait time. The facility was clean, neat and well stocked. There were 2 clerks at the time (early morning weekday). Parking lot has plenty of parking. I highly recommend the Socastee United States Post Office for all your mailing/shipping needs. It is my favorite Myrtle Beach Post Office!

Made my appointment to get my passport a week earlier. Only two locations in the area handle passport applications. So I was a little alarmed when Google said the post office location was closed. I went to my appointment anyways...Thank Goodness they were open and I was in and out in 10 minutes. Quick easy process (I had downloaded the paperwork from online).

Adam was so kind and helpful with an aggravating shipping problem. After contacting the seller several times to no avail, I decided to call my post office. Adam, who is the post master, went above and beyond to search for my package the seller claimed was sent. I appreciate you very much! Teresa, who delivers my mail, has always been amazing over the years 😊 I’m so grateful for my post office team!!

Manager of the Socastee office called to follow up with a delivery issue I had to see if it was corrected. Not many people will actually follow through and do that now.

Have never lost a package in 16 years and I mail a ton. So a few things you need to do. Have a number on your mail box, and on your house. Dont have 15 friends and relatives named mail coming to your house. Dont allow your friends and family to park in front of mailboxes. Stop shipping packages with scotch tape sealing them up. Check your mailbox everyday not once a week. I see delivery people bringing me packages I can hardly lift and they carry them right to my door. Half you people complaining wouldnt last one day doing what they do. Last maybe teach your kids now how to write there name and address. I see people at PO in line all the time with addresses on there packages that look like a two year wrote it in crayon. Im not working for the PO, I just have always dad very good service. I do get my neighbors mail sometimes but he has about 6 aliases so go figure.

This is an all purpose post office. They have product items for holidays and shipping needs. They support passports at this location. I was able to quickly get a letter to be shipped and have it certified delivery. There was also lots of parking and it was easy to get in and out of.

My package was misdelivered. I called the post office and the gentleman that answered the phone was able to find that out as well as get our regular carrier to retrieve my package and actually deliver it to me. They saved my holidays. Great experience!

My service on route 6 Diane the carrier is just great I was told that was her route number. She brings packages up to my door no problem. If I have a question she stops to help me thank you

Socastee post office is the best. There residential delivery is awesome Taffiny is spectacular!!! They will always deliver your goods to the front door, if it is to big for the mail box.. Nothing but praise for the Socastee office..

This branch is open on Saturday now. The Post Office web site hasn't been updated yet. I think the problem is that this is a transient area and many neighborhoods have cluster boxes. This seems to confuse some people who are used to having a mailbox in front of their house.

Mr. Bill. is my mail carrier and he’s the most honest one.He takes care of my mail puts the packages under my van so they don’t get wet when it rains I’m in the Socastee area he’s phenomenal!!!

Everytime I come here the staff is so nice and helpful. I love my mail man as well, very nice and hardworking.

Always helpful and my mail always gets where it needs to go , but with all United States post office's, The hours are too limiting.

They are so friendly , love coming down here is always faster then any other post office
