Coastal Comics

This was my son's first comic book store experience. I was a comic hound in my youth, my 8 yr old has caught on, and this was great. The staff was helpful in finding the specific comic he was looking for and even gave him a great deal with the bargain comics!
It's very well organized and the prices are reasonable. We will return as a family every time we are in town. Highly recommended!

The gentleman was very nice. I needed to find some things to read for the plane ride home. He was very gracious on the price that he charged me for all that I bought!

There were some people in there interviewing him and it was cool to hear about all the celebrities that he has met and how he got the store up and running.

If you show up and the open sign isn't on right away just wait. Life happens and they were open by 11:10am.

Local comic book shop and ran by a nice manager, Drew. Was simply chitchatting with him about comics I was looking for, went above and beyond! He informed me on some issues that I didn't know about that lead up to the series I was seeking and ordered some recent issues I was looking for. Even helped me start my first ever comic pull-list! Willing to work with you and great customer service. Can't wait to come in frequently now.

I started to collect comics books I live in new jersey on vacation in mb and went past this comic bookstore and decided to stop in. boy I LOVED every min of being in this store the owner is nice and they have a great collection of of comics books and others. 5 star all the way!! STOP IN you won't be disappointed.

Great comic book store!! From out of town and always look up local comic book stores when I travel. They got great reviews and they’re fully deserved. Walls are packed with slabs and older, more valuable comics, as well as lots of shelves full of new books. Bunches of short boxes with new and old stuff. Had a nice time looking through everything to fill in some of my collection gaps “in the wild”.

At checkout Drew gave me a few bucks off, I guess cuz he’s just a nice guy. If I’m ever in town again I’ll definitely pop by again.

This is the most amazing comic book shop I have ever been to Drew was very genuine and made a collector very happy ..huge selection of comics figurines posters and much more

Popped in here with my girlfriend to check it out with no expectations as we rarely go to comic stores but we were pleasantly surprised. The Owner was kind and the store had a clean layout. Prices seemed fair and the lighting and vibe were comfortable. I left with 3 comics and a Dragon ball Z figure and plan on returning soon.

Very fun local store. Good selection, very reasonable prices and staff could not have been friendlier to our son.

I love the beach and I love comics. This place delivered on both. Nice selection of back stock and good selection of key comics. The thing I like most here was the staff. The guy working was a really nice person and super helpful. The store had a cool laid-back vibe.

Great shop I didn't find what I was looking for but the employee was helpful and very nice. I did buy somethings for my kids. If I'm in the area again I we will be back.

I've been going to Coastal Comics for 5 years and the same guy runs the joint and he's awesome. Also the selection is amazing and the prices can't be beat. Definitely stop by if you're in surfside, every time I'm in the area I do!

Took my daughter to buy her first comic book and was very pleased with the shop and the help from the desk in helping her choose and making her feel special. Great place, great experience. If you need something, ask and the gentleman was very knowledgeable and helpful!

When I officially got back into comic collecting this shop had what I needed. The owner is very friendly and holds great conversations. He is very knowledgeable and knows what he has. I get all my new comics from him and cannot walk-in without buying something.

I did a lot of comic book stores and the service here is awesome. My kids was asking a lot of questions and he answered patiently. Really great experience.

Do not come here. Vintage comics on the wall are priced well. Didn't even get to look at the boxes since I went over budget. Again, don't come here. I want it for myself.

Great place to buy all the comics you could want. Also if you have comics that you want to get graded this is the place to take them. He will even press them for you to get a better grade. This is the only comic store around here I would go to and I’ve been to them all.

Awesome shop!! I'm from out of state but they have a great selection of new comics, back issues, and collectables. Owner is very friendly, and I love their slogan "We Have Issues".

I spoke with Drew at Coastal Comics prior to leaving for Myrtle Beach from Massachusetts in April 2021 and was very accommodative, waiting for me to drive down there to drop off 10 comics I wanted graded before he sent his next shipment out to CGC. When I arrived at the store, he was instantly attentive and thoroughly checked each comic and recommended a few that could use some pressing before submission. I found Drew to be very helpful, kind, and professional throughout the process as my comics would need to be shipped back up to me in Massachusetts. From start to finish, Drew provided exemplary service and would easily recommend him for all your comics needs!!Thanks Drew!!!

This store is what I'd call a true comic shop. Extremely helpful and treated you great. I think the back issues are a bit pricey, but very well organized and may be worth the money to find what you're looking for easily. I definitely recommend checking this store out.

Hands down the best comic book store on the grand strand all variants all the new issues you can think of he has it and if he doesn't he can get them if you need back issues to complete a run he
Got them from graded comic's one off one shots singed art autograph comic's he's you're one shop stop for you're Marvel and DC image dark horse so stop in you won't be disappointed my number one stop shop.
