Plato's Closet - Myrtle Beach, SC

I visited today to ask about selling my items, and Maranda greeted me warmly. She addressed all my questions and concerns with a smile and demonstrated extensive knowledge of the entire process. She broke everything down step-by-step, making it easy to understand. We even had a nice chat! Maranda is truly an outstanding representative for this location.

The customer service was awesome they were very polite and professional! Being my first time experience they walked me through the process and even showed me how a piece of swim wear actually worked. I highly recommend this as an alternative to goodwill (not that there's nothing wrong with Goodwill) Plato's pays you for your high end name brand clothing. Fun experience and I will return with my Citizens of Humanity and other high end bottoms and coats.

This store is AMAZING. the best Plato’s closet i’ve ever been to. I love their bi counter policy and the staff were so attentive and helpful! Alana and Fred helped me and they were awesome.

I’m like a 33 year old woman and I still find dope clothes here. They are so cheap and some are usually like brand new. Sometimes it is hit or miss, but I usually walk out with like six items. This is a very sustainable way to shop giving clothes a second chance and doing our part to recycle. Dang it feels good saving the planet. One crop top at a time.

LOVE shopping here! The prices are so reasonable & they always have the cutest, most trendy styles to choose from! I also like that they are very size-inclusive, meaning they go up to sizes 6X in women’s (from what so have seen). The store associates are super friendly as well!

My girls had a blast shopping in this location. I was amazed at the good prices and the great service. The staff stayed super busy opening dressing rooms, restocking clothing and keeping everything tidy. We spent almost $500 and walked out with bags full of clothes and shoes. We will definitely go back again.

The clothes here are so cute and much more in style than the clothes ive found in the goodwills near me. The customer service here is amazing, everybody is so kind and funny and helpful. An employee named Brooke made my day today. She was so friendly and knew all the answers to my questions. This has been the best experience ive ever had thrifting and its thanks to Brooke and her incredible customer service skills. This woman really deserves a raise and a pat on the back, i hope to have more experiences in stores like the one i had today but its rare finding people as genuinely sweet and helpful and caring as Brooke.

Such an amazing environment with helpful and friendly staff! I went to Plato’s the other day looking for a pair of jeans, unable to find my size. One employee, Cat was her name, was sooo sweet and went above and beyond to help me search the entire aisle for jeans my size. On top of finding these jeans, she helped pick out a few tops to go with them! Absolutely will return to this location.

Love this store. Especially love one of the associates that work there!! Trista is always so willing to help anyone. She always has a smile on her face, making everyone around her feel at ease. She’s always a busy bee! Best keep her around, she’s awesome for business!!!!

I had an amazing experience at this store! A girl introduced herself to me as Leah Santangelo and she was so nice and sweet. I'll definitely approach her again if I have any questions; she is an exceptional worker.

My experience here was beyond amazing. I shop here often but a lady by the name of Allison P assisted me in finding the perfect outfits for my upcoming girls trip. I’m confident in knowing no one will have the same outfit as me and excited to show off these curves in my new gear. Thanks Allison 💛💛

If I could add more starts, I would!!! Alyssa’s customer service skills were outstanding; she was very informative & helpful! Not only that, but a few ladies named Hannah and Abby were super nice & patient when dealing with my clothes. Definitely recommend coming here for selling & buying clothes!

I'm a regular here (I work right down the street and am in there practically every other day 😂) I'm always the annoying costumer who asks for the outfits that the mannequins are dressed in- but they are always super friendly and helpful to help me get the clothes I want. Great selection and always low prices. Plus their Instagram account is on point! I love that they put the sizes and prices of items that just came in and give you the option to call and order over the phone!

I had an amazing experience at this plato’s closet. Leah was such a sweet girl, she helped me find everything I needed to find. I truly recommend going to her for help if you need anything. Give this girl a raise, she’s an amazing asset to the company!

Its a great store sadly I couldn't find any size 00 shorts. Went shopping all day and couldn't find any. They have some nice practically new clothes here. Also a great place to sell great gently use clothing for a good price. Sold several items here they really do give u a great fair price on items!
