Eternal Wave Surf Shop

Was looking for a local surf shop to just get some gear and clothes, and Eternal Waves was the place! Great vibes, friendly staff, and everything a geezer surfer like me could want. They were super friendly to my partner and kid, would definitely recommend if you need surf and skate stuff y’all come here

I have a 10 year old little girl. We signed up for surf lessons with Justin, Maggie,and Alex. They were on time and started alittle earlier then the 830 which gave her a little more time. All 3 were very likeable and was able to get my child surfing. Once the lesson was over she had to keep surfing so off to their shop we went we rented a board for 24 hrs and not only was it cheap but super easy will return over and over

Great people here for sure. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Can’t remember the name of the person that was working at the time, but he worked with me for about 45 minutes to find the perfect setup for my new board. (Super stoked about the new board btw.) I returned a few days later to grab some things and even though someone else was working he gave me some good tips and tricks to better my surfing skills. Definitely worth the extra 5 minute drive.

My family has a fairly long history with Eternal Wave, Jacob taught both my boys how to surf. He's helped out fit us with several boards and my wife even loves to buy clothes from there. I've always found the staff to be very helpful, willing to share their knowledge and experience, the prices are competitive with on line prices, but best of all you get good local service.

Recently purchased a new (used) epoxy triple x board. Needless to say I love it! Best part about my experience though was the guy working there by himself. He politely asked my wife and I if we needed anything when we entered the shop and when we said no he actually let us be and returned to his work. Unlike another surf shop I know where they practically stalk you and pressure you to buy. When I found my board he offered some sound advice, we paid and then we were on our way no hassle! Eternal Wave is 5 star surf shop!

I bought an O'Neill sweatshirt from here when I was on vacation in August 2021. After only wearing it a few times it developed holes in the front of it. When I reached out to O'Neill (in February 2022) they told me I had to provide them proof of purchase for them to help me. Needless to say I had not saved a receipt for a sweatshirt I bought on vacation 5 months before. I reached out to Jacob at Eternal Wave and he was able to provide me with a copy of my receipt so that I could get reimbursed from O'Neill. He went above and beyond. Amazing small business and awesome surf shop...this place is a gem. Can't wait to stop in again next time I'm on vacation in Surfside Beach!!

Best Surf & Skate shop in the area. If you ever want to take surfing lessons, this is the place to go. The store is an awesome local shop with friendly service, competitive pricing and a cool shop to look around. Can't say enough good things about how this shop is run and the services they provide. We visit the shop yearly on our vacations.

My two 14 year olds took lessons from Austin and it was fantastic! He was extremely friendly, helpful and patient. I was also impressed with how friendly all the staff at Eternal Wave were. I highly recommend Eternal Wave Surf Shop! Thanks!!

Love the teaching. I had a great time on the water. Before we went out we did some practice popups. I needed a little work nothing fitness won't fix. Some things I was doing on the water wrong I didn't notice, the instructor brought to my attention and corrected the issue. After 30 minutes of trying to popup I finally was able to popup and ride it out falling backwards. One hour of pure awesomeness. I highly recommend. The stoke is real! I will definately come back again for future training

We had a great group surf lesson! Jacob and Austin were helpful surf instructors. I would definitely come back for rentals or lessons. I highly recommend for lessons, you'll be catching waves in no time!

The best shop for T-shirts, board rentals, bike rentals, board shorts, skate gear and boards, sunglasses, sandals, man just go there and see what I'm talking about. Jacob and Kali are the BEST.
