Nan's Games & Comics Toys

Cool comic shop that’s loaded end to end with comics, collectibles, and games. As the name suggests, it’s really two stores in one, since the comics and manga are on one side and most of the gaming stuff is on the other. The place has wide aisles and a great selection. The clerk on duty was really helpful too. They didn’t have the titles I was looking for on this visit, but I’d definitely go back.

Was browsing at a different bookstore and did a quick search for more bookstores around the area, and found this place and visited for the first time. Nice selection of a wide range of comics and other collectables. Often I only browse at bookstores but here I found something I really liked. Would like to come back.

My favorite games and comic store through the years. Tons of dice, gaming books and accessories. Comics and related toys! They still have more figures than anyplace else I've been to in person.

Nice flow to the store. Greeted upon entry and left to my own devices (the way I like)New comics are on the side wall, lots of back issues that are organized to thumb through. The selection and amount of issues for the trades was impressive. I also enjoyed the amount of manga available to look at. For the board gamers the selection takes up half the store!

Great shop if you are looking for table top games! They have a huge board game selection with all the new and old classics, as well as lots of intricate dice, figures, and other collectibles from all kinds of genres. I saw manga, Marvel, DC, D&D, and more here.

Long term customer to this establishment which should say enough. The assortment and breath of comics of all different types. The other section is the games and puzzles of equal depth and variety.

I visit Nan’s every time I’m traveling thru Houston. Such a big variety of board games, old and new. Comics too, but I’m a board game geek. The diversity of games is awesome. Euro-games, Ameri-trash, party games, family games, D&D, etc. Don’t miss this decades old treasure the next time you’re in Houston! 🤓👍🏼

I very much appreciate the absolutely huge collection of Dungeons and Dragons materials, including starter sets, maps and specialty campaign books. There were so many other things here but D&D is what brought us in. Knowledgeable service, very kind employees. We will definitely be back. Thanks!

This place is awesome! I got so much cool stuff and they had such a wide selection, I was stoked. Serious nostalgia, was so awesome to get game and comic based action figures, comics that also came in hard cover with multiple in one, manga that also had 3 books in 1, cool games, I mean they have so much you are bound to find some hidden treasures you will be just ecstatic to bring home and show off to everyone! I even got a Zelda clutch purse, and earrings, a Harley Quinn umbrella, Star Trek and Power Rangers lunch pails, FNAF pens, and they also have shirts with all your favorite characters. There is something for everyone, definitely have to come back and if you haven't been there, check it out for sure!

I really love Nan's. It was the first comic/game store I ever walked into back in 1985. They have a vast collection of comics and boardgames plus a smattering of anything else you may be looking for, or even didn't know you were looking for.

The owner was very nice and has a huge selection of games and comics. My bf and I love board games and this is definitely one of our go to places to purchase from .

I have only been to Nan’s a couple of times and both of those have been very enjoyable. I have thought about purchasing multiple board games that are difficult to find, but the games can be a bit pricey. What I did find was a plethora of dice for my student’s dungeons and dragons club. They were reasonably priced. I could spend hours perusing all the wonderful things that the store has. Excellent place!

Nan's! If you have never been to this place you need to go! It does not matter if you like games, collectibles, or comics. It is an amazing and eclectic store. The staff is always very knowledgeable and helpful. This is where Santa Claus works! Literally! If you don't believe me go find out for yourself! You will know he is there if you see his car in the parking lot oh, you can't miss it! I go every chance I get. I like to get little gifts for my friends here.

Took my kids here because this was the “the” comic shop of Houston.
Haven’t been back in 30+ years and it’s grown.

A Houston staple. Been around since I was a kid. The owner is a nice gentleman and will do what he can to help get you what you need! Great shop with lots of back bin items!

BEST place for dnd figures and dice. BEST place for cards. BEST place for everything. The owner is nice and I love finding his creations around the store, although the mouse playing an organ near the register is my favorite hands down.

Great place, friendly service, lots of variety on games,comics, and action figures. I've been going for over 20 years at least.

While Nan's has a huge games and comics selection, there is also a cool selection of action figures and other toys. I found a great Godzilla by NECA while picking out some comics.
