Newbury Gelato

One of the best Gelato places we’ve been to so far and we tried many! They’ve got some unique delicious flavors. We tried fresh cream, Maine Blueberry and dark chocolate which wasn’t mentioned on the menu on their wall. This is hands down THE BEST DARK CHOCOLATE GELATO we’ve ever had! And we want it to be a permanent flavor that they offer. Their portion size is good and the lady who served us filled up the cup again after adding all scoops to make it a full large size and we didn’t ask for that. This is what good customer service is! It has become our most favorite ice cream place in the area and we’ll be a frequenter!

The dark chocolate noir sorbet is unlike anything I've ever had, in the best possible way. Like eating a creamy and ice cold high end dark chocolate bar. My wife, son, and I spent at least 10 minutes in the car ride home talking about how great all of our orders were. Very generous portions as well. Highly recommended.

Amazing flavors, incredibly friendly staff, clean and simple interior. My husband got a small size cake batter and strawberry balsamic, and I got a treat size bacio and strawberry balsamic. Such a great place to stop by after a meal.

Super fantastic. The best Gelato in America. If you have ever wanted to taste real Gelato, this is your opportunity. The Sorbet is also out of this world. The Strawberry Balsamic Sorbet is unreal!!!

This place is Amazing the gelato’s are so good. Very flavorful but not so sweet, and so smooth, it tastes like you are eating a fresh fruit!!

Come with family so that you can all try different flavors!! So far I’ve had the mango, toasted coconut, Madagascar Vanilla, espresso, and my favorite so far is the strawberry balsamic gelato.

There is seating inside and outside. Lots of parking. Very clean.

Delicious gelato and extremely friendly and welcoming staff. I love visiting when I'm home in Connecticut. Very impressed that they can fit 3 flavors into even the smallest cup of gelato. The house chocolate, fresh cream and the strawberry balsamic sorbetto are amazing. Grazie, Bruno and family!

You can feel the Italian roots once you enter the place ! Amazing Staff, Amazing Service and Absolutely Spot on Ice Cream Flavors!

I have a degree in baking and pastry arts from the CIA. I've also been to Italy for the real thing. Their Sorbet and Gelato is indeed the real thing. Highly recommend. Bring cash for tip.

I’m shocked there isn’t a line out the door here on a Saturday afternoon. As a fellow Italian this is hands down the best gelato I’ve been able to find in CT. So creamy. Even the sorbetto is out of this world. I took a pint to go to hold me over until I’m able to come back. If you’re craving something cool on a hot day, you HAVE to come here.

The best gelato I’ve had! I love all the flavors I’ve tried so far such as strawberry balsamic sorbetto, ripe mango sorbetto, mint chocolate chip, toasted coconut, wild Maine blueberry crisp, etc. You won’t be disappointed!👍🏻

FAVORITE PLACE! I love the staff, they are always so happy to see us. And the gelato is literally to die for, I have never been disappointed. The gelato is always fresh and perfect in every way. Also love that they have non dairy options for us sensitive stomach girlies!

Divine! Hands down the best gelato I've ever had. The bf and I stumbled upon this place after a hike and were completely blown away. Must've tried 5-6 flavors, each one better than the last. We'll be back!

We were in the area and decided to stop for some gelato, and we’re so happy that we did! The chocolate stracciatella, peanut butter, and cookie dough were all great flavors. The woman behind the counter, who I believe was the owner, was so friendly and kind in giving us samples to try as we made our decisions. Definitely some of the best gelato I’ve had in CT, and a great variety of flavors too!

This is by FAR the best AUTHENTIC gelato and sorbetto I've ever had! If you're not immediately local to Brookfield, CT, I would say this IS a destination you MUST travel to! AUTHENTIC Italian Espresso, Affogato...
Family owned and operated! I HAVE been known to travel 260 miles for this place! (It helps that I grew up there and still have family to visit...and the owners are friends!)
TWO DOZEN FLAVORS to choose from almost daily, and many are gluten free and dairy free, locally sourced products, and all made IN HOUSE!! DELIZIOSO!!🤌

So happy to share Newbury gelato with our son with allergies. Newbury management had an amazing answer about their procedures to reduce cross contact which made us feel very comfortable bringing our toddler with peanut, egg, and sesame allergies. We have enjoyed their gelato twice now and enjoyed every bite without worry. Thank you!!

Peanut Butter cup absolutely divine! Add the pint of PB Stracciatella please! This place is absolutely marvelous! Must visit!🥰💪💪💪💪💪
