Dr. Jennifer Thompson has been my mother's primary care physician for well over a decade. Her compassion, patience, and dedication to my mother's health have significantly improved her quality of life. Dr. Thompson always listens carefully, provides clear and personalized advice, and ensures my mother feels comfortable and well-cared for. Her professionalism, empathy, and warm demeanor make every visit a positive experience. I am incredibly grateful for her unwavering commitment to our family's well-being. As a fellow healthcare provider, I highly recommend Dr. Thompson – she is a true gem in the medical field!

The location is good, and the doctors and nurses are friendly. However, the front desk staff are awful . They are acting like they own the clinic and are providing a free service. HR should consider allowing them to find a job that they would be happier doing the job.

Everyone it the West Cary office are sincere, kind and caring. My doctor (Dr. Thompson) is awesome and he listens and does not rush out. You feel important and heard, that is hard to find anymore in a Dr's office.

Dr. Colin Gage is very professional and educational. He listened to my concerns and was able to thoroughly explain the cause and treatment moving forward. Highly recommend him for your health care needs.

I had an urgent need and they got me in 30 minutes later, did the labs there in house, sent the prescription in the local pharmacy and in less then an hour I with taking the prescribed meds! Fabulous and this is not the first time they have taken care of me like this !! 💕

This is honestly the best doctor's office I've ever been to. I have three kids and I can't tell you how difficult it is to schedule an appointment at Duke or to get a hold of someone. The doctor was super empathetic and my son was taken care of really well.
I will now be going Avance Care for my kids doctor's appointments and switching. It was nice to go to a doctor's office and actually feel like I was cared about! I will be telling all my friends and strangers too!

Dr. Pedraza is an awesome physician. I’m very happy to have him as my PCP. Very kind, knowledgeable, and personal. I don’t ever feel like I’m just another patient on the schedule. I think as long as I’m in the area I’ll be working with him for my overall health care. The facility is also clean, updated and in a nice shopping center area. Really easy to schedule appointments there also which is a bonus! Staff is also quite nice 😊. I recommend Dr. Pedraza and the staff at Avance Care West Cary (27519)!

Such a great office and doctor. From the moment I entered the doors of Avance Care (West Cary) I felt welcomed and cared for. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Jennifer Thompson is truly exceptional! I am thankful for the quality care I have been given throughout the years. West Cary is a wonderful option for the entire family.

I have recently moved to the area and needed to get set up with a PCP. Getting connected with Avance Care was a seamless process and the staff has been cordial and informative. Specifically, Dr. Jaime Pedraza is an awesome PCP in that he is warm, informative, and efficient. Although efficient, I didn't feel like a number or like a patient he had to get out of the door. I would definitely recommend, especially for other men of color/active men who want to male of color PCP who also does sports medicine.

I started going to Avance Care about 10 years ago. The quality of care I have received has always been superb. Dr. Jennifer Thompson has a terrific bedside manner- caring and patient. She helped me through a difficult time this past year and I trusted her completely. Dr. Keri has been fantastic with my kids- the kindest way with children. And Sasha in Behavioral Health and Wellness is truly a fantastic therapist. From the nursing staff to front office personnel, this place has earned my trust and my business. I will continue to go here for many years to come!

Awesome doctors, immediate care, easy to find appointments. One stop to whole family medical care.

I love this Avance Care West Cary for a number of reasons. One being the staff is always helpful, professional and polite. I can literally email them on patient portal prior them opening and get feedback within hours. They have such flexible hours of operation. The providers are awesome NP Lauria, Dr. Cox, Dr. Thompson all go above and beyond with patient care.

I just switched to Avance Primary Care in West Cary to re-establish care with Dr. Cox, who had been my primary care doctor at another facility. Avance seems friendly, modern, and welcoming, and I barely had to wait to get an appointment or to be seen on the day of my appointment. Without a doubt, Dr. Cox is the best physician I've ever seen—he takes the time to listen, helps walk you through your symptoms to get a much clearer understanding of what you're dealing with, and is very engaging and personable. There's a clear reason that his former patients like me and many others track him down to maintain care with him even if he switches practices. He's one of the best of the best general practitioners.

Dr Jennifer Thompson is by far the very best physician I have come across. SHE LISTENS and is is extremely intelligent and has the best bed side manner.

if you are looking for a wonderful family doctor, I'd like to strongly recommend Dr. Chad Cox at Avance Primary Care in West Cary. The overall practice is very communicative and well organized and Dr. Cox stands out as an incredibly caring and responsive physician. I really appreciate a doctor with strong listening skills, patience, and who does not rush through an exam. I found Dr. Cox to excel at this and better still, was great at communicating afterward via the practice's patient portal. Very pleased with my new doctor. :-) Our whole family has since moved over to Avance and I'm happy to recommend this practice to my friends and neighbors. Dr. Chad Cox is wonderful.

Top-shelf patient care by Dr Thompson and his PA Colin. It was my first visit at this location, and I have no negative feedback. I was truly impressed with the nice facility and the caring staff. Dr Thompson and Colin's bedside manner was the best I've seen. Colin answered all of my questions, and explained everything very well. He is very knowledgeable in this field and I look forward to being under his future care.

I had a great experience here! The telehealth appointment with Leah was seamless! She was very kind & understanding. I received additional care from Heather who did an amazing job! She spoke through everything she was doing & created a comfortable environment.

I'm thankful for all the staff at this location. The atmosphere is always friendly. The help I receive comes from a place of genuine compassion. The thorough notes my GP took at this office were sent to my specialist and helped streamline a diagnosis. Every time I come in, I know that I am receiving the best care.

I have to drive 45 minutes to get here but it is worth it. We moved farther away to Raleigh vs. our previous home in Cary but the service I receive from the Avance Care team is what keeps me coming back even though they have a location closer to me. Keep up the great service and the great care you provide to your patients.

I have always been greeted with friendly, happy, and helpful people at the front desk. It makes me feel very comfortable coming into the practice. It makes me feel like a person being helped rather than the next patient.
When the lady at the front desk told me that someone would be with me shortly, it was shortly. The nurse came out to get me and carried on an actual conversation and not just polite niceties as he showed me to the room.
Dr. T. Thompson has always taken his time with me to discuss my wellbeing. I have never felt he was in a rush with me, but he has always shown the best doctor/patient relationship. I feel extremely confident that I have received the best medical attention I could have received when I leave.
And it is so convenient to get in touch with staff at Dr. T. Thompson’s office thru the website. To be able to go online and chat with staff is amazingly quick and efficient.
