Called on Monday for a Friday appointment to get an inspection done, but Chad said to just come in. Stopped in at 8am on Friday and the van was done by 2pm. Recommendations were suggested for other work, an appointment was made and I'll be back. These guys have always been fair, honest & professional. If have to get work done on my van, I will always trust this team and their manager, Mike!

Best staff ever. These guys are more like family than they are like "just an auto shop". They took care of my mother's vehicles while she was still alive, joked with her.. and did everything they could to keep her cars running safe. They have put up with me and my vehicles.. some of which were older and not so much fun to work on. They have been kind to me times when I was so stressed out that i'm sure I was no fun to be around either. Even when repairs were difficult for them, or a few times when I was sure it was something else (I'm not a mechanic and should just let their guys do their job).. they were still as pleasant as it gets. I have never had them take a bad day out on me and i'm sure at some point they must have had a bad day. There's nobody I trust more and no other shop that I'd go to. Thanks guys .. you're awesome! :)

I realized I had a screw in my tire this morning. After 2 diagnostic texts, one last night that I took care of and again this morning that my tire needed air, I noticed a screw while getting air. I stopped at a tire place close by and seemed to annoy the man at the counter who was not in a great mood. He grumbled when I told him what happened and was very unfriendly. He told me it would be an hour to 2 hour wait. I didn't mind the wait since there was someone in the waiting area and I just walked in. Then he went on to say it would cost $45/50 to plug but when he pulled the car in, he would determine if I needed a new tire. Thankfully, while I was getting air, I had already spoken to my dealership service manager and was told that while they couldn't get me in today, I did not need a new tire based on the location of the screw in my tire. He said that plugging it would be fine and my vehicle is a brand-new lease but that I didn't have to bring it there to have it plugged. I knew once he mentioned a new tire after I explained where the screw was, that I didn't want to stick around. I was advised by a family member to try another place not far down the road that they highly recommended and have always had good luck with. Wow, I was highly impressed!!!! Not only was the man at the counter friendly and helpful, and he also had a waiting room with many more customers. He was also able to have the screw removed and my tire plugged for FREE!!! He said they don't charge for plugging and I definitely didn't need a new tire. I am so happy I didn't stay at the other place and saved myself money and being taken advantage of too. It was also done in less of a time frame that the first place I stopped. I will be back here for sure in the future. The other place lost my business and respect too!

Always have great experiences here. Their service on my vehicle and customer service are always top notch! I recommend Mike & his staff to everyone I know. This place was great to me. I dropped my car off and got it back in a timely manner. Mike was great. He was honest, upfront and willing to work with me. I appreciate everyone there. I highly recommend them.

So today I had a bad experience at one of Midas’s competitors. I was so mad at how places will take advantage of women. Thinking we know nothing about automotive care and upkeep. So I went over to see Jen (manager)and the crew at Midas! They took care of my situation completely and correctly! They have my business going forward..

Been coming here for over a decade! Great group of people working here. Always get the service that I need. They always diagnose and give a few different options when problems arise. I'm here a lot getting oil changes they are fast and done right. Here is to me coming back for another decades of service.

They attended to my car within the time frame they gave me. They also stand by their work. To top it all off, they are very friendly and explain everything so you can understand it. I would highly recommend Midas on South Bay Rd.

Great group! Tells you like it is! Tries to find discounts whenever possible knows your name when walk into place! . Like most repair shops, parts are costly.

Very quick Service and the staff was amazing! I came in for an inspection and they got my vehicle right in. Noticed that I am going to need to get a new part sooner rather than later. They were very friendly and I appreciate all of their help today

Mike and his team are truly amazing. I’m a repeat customer and I know that I’m in good hands whenever something is going on with my (2012) car. Once, I was even able to bring my car in with an emergency service need and it was taken care of within the hour near closing time. I can’t express enough how grateful I am for this team. We have used the Main St Midas, N Syracuse, for over 6+ yrs now. They have done mufflers, brakes, tire repair, yearly vehicle inspections and other miscellaneous engine repairs. Shop manager/owner Mike has Great communication skills and calls with all updates, while the vehicle is there. The pricing is comparable to the area, but the quaility of workmanship, Mike and his pleasant garage crew are what keeps us going back.
Looking for a good shop that you can rely on and you can trust with your vehicle...this is the place to go. Plus. They'll send you coupons for discounts!!

I am always happy with my experience at this Midas. The staff is helpful and informative. They give honest prices and opinions of the work being done. They have even taken the time to show me what's going on since I am not the most mechanically inclined myself. I do recommend going here!

I had a fabulous experience at Midas on S Bay Rd. In particular, the shop Manager (Mike) was quick to answer the phone and accommodate my schedule. They identified the issues with my car within the same day, offered solutions, and were cost effective. What more could you ask for! Many of my peers also have vouched for this particular location of Midas; now I can see why. If you’re experiencing car issues, this is the place to take it.
