La Ruana Colombian Restaurant

Liney Romero gave us excellent friendly service and she was super helpful when it came to the menu. The food was on point, authentic, and the best place around to fill that Colombian food craving. The atmosphere is great and usually pretty busy and lively on weekends. They only make their soups on weekends but it’s worth the wait. Weekdays they have a daily lunch special that is inexpensive.

As a Colombian, I have to say that the food in this restaurant is very authentic and has a lot of flavor. The reason I am giving them 4 stars is that the parrillada was a little overcooked, and the portion of the steak was very small. Additionally, the mazamorra was mainly liquid and didn't have much corn, but the flavors were definitely there. I am coming back to try some of the other dishes that look delicious. If you are around the area, you should definitely stop by and try some delicious and authentic Colombian food at a great restaurant with excellent service!

Juan, our server, is the man. His positive attitude and attention to details made this the best Colombian restaurant experience in Atlanta. For the restaurant, the food was delicious and the cocktail was very strong. Viva Colombia and I will return.

Absolutely EXCELLENT ACROSS THE BOARD!!! I Aleays have a pleasant experience every time I come here, no matter the time of day or day of the week. Everything I’ve tried is DELICIOUS! I tried lingua for the 1st time at this restaurant and it’s one of my Faves! The coconut rice makes me want to hug the chef! 👩🏽‍🍳 Mu favorite servers are Kelly and Ceaser! They are excellent!

So ya'll know we are the food reviewers who do it big for the authentic international food right? So with this in mind we visit @laruanacolombianrestaurant for the real deal authentic Colombian and we weren't disappointed. We had good service, great drinks, and someone's love for Marc Anthony blasting in the restaurant we were totally there for!!

Fresh chicarron with friends creole potato. We just wish it had some sauce on the side but it was fresh, tender, and tasty.

Chicken filet in a creamy mushroom sauce, rice, sweet plantain, fries, and a sweet side salad.
We don't know why so many South American dishes come with fries and rice but we are here for it!! This was awesome!!

Oblea Especial ❤❤❤❤❤
A thin wafer with sweet condensed milk, caramel, blackberry, and sweet cheese in the middle. It tasted so unique and so good!!

The food and service was amazing. Lorena was so great and patient and I will absolutely come back again.

Went with a large group on Saturday night. We were served pretty fast. Food was tasty and a good portion. Lulada was thick and frosty. Very Nice! I had the Paisa Guacamole and the Grilled Chicken breast with Cocunt Rice. Delicious. Best of luck.

While we enjoy every menu item that we order, the music is a bit loud for us. It is a fun and festive beat with a large video screen to the back of the dining room. It is a little over the top for my taste, but understand that many will love the volume up. Now, from Ajiaco to Bandeja Paisa and Morsilla, are all delicious!

I found this place on Instagram and went for lunch. It's a new establishment. The waiter was so nice and friendly. The food was delicious. They also played some good salsa music that I havent heard in years...I would definitely come here again. We had cola guisada and ceviche de chicarron.

I hope they get Uber Eats soon. I'd love to order from home...😋

Great spot. Just opened, however i would do a few things to improve. Go beyond the chuleta and add a bandeja valluna.. add lentejas. I would also lower the music it is too loud. The chuleta needs rice instead of fries. Overall good but a few things to improve. Service is excellent!

A sign of a good authentic, ethnic restaurant is when you see the same ethnic group as patrons. I been to many Colombian restaurants in my travels. This definitely one of the area's best Colombian restaurants. Caroline was friendly and provided excellent service. She was great. Be back again.

We had the fried snapper with the coconut rice it was so delicious 😋 Juan our server was amazing he recommended the blackberry juice it was so refreshing

This is the best Colombian restaurant in metro Atlanta! The food is high quality, the service is fast and everybody is super nice! I would recommend the Ajiaco soup! Soooo good! Also de coconut lemonade is just like in Cartagena

Wow I had no idea the Colombians threw down in the kitchen like that. Que Rico!!! Salmon with mushrooms in a creamy sauce. Coconut rice. Chicken and beef empenadas. Every bite was delicious.
And free entertainment! An 8 man band complete with trumpet, trombone, keyboards, drums, everything playing Salsa, Merengue... Delicious food, fun night. We're going back soon.
