Henry at the counter is so helpful and courteous. I was in the Post Office yesterday and he waited on me with my priority mail. I went back today for another reason and while I waited in line I watched him take care of other customers with genuine kindness. I’m sorry I didn’t get the name of the person who helped me today but she was excellent as well. Thank you!

This post office has gotten some less than glowing reviews, but this morning (7/3/21) there was a slender, tall, man (appeared to be working alone) who was very personable, polite & pleasant & I wanted to take the time, to write this review to appreciate his cheerful demeanor. I hope this can be a foresight of things to come. These are challenging times & we do much better when we are kind to one another.

I've been circling around and nowhere else to go, to find resolution for my missing mails, check and packages. I had multiple trips to USPS Miiddletown but went home with no answers. I prayed for a miracle and today I found Ratina and her other co worker. When Ratina found out what happened to me, she immediately checked and found what happened and resolved my case. Before I leave she said she will check and call me. I immediately went to the right box and I found my missing mails, check, and missing packages. When Ratina called I could not thank her enough for going above and beyond, thank you so much Ratina and your co worker for taking ownership and helping me out. There will always be 1 who will makes a huge difference! and you did it to me! Super happy :)

HUGE shoutout to the postal workers at the Middletown, DE office. Not only did they try super hard yesterday (Jan 4) to help me locate a Priority Express envelope that I sent from NH on Jan 2 that should have arrived Jan 3 but THEY called me today (Jan 5) to tell me it was scanned in Wilmington, DE at 1111am, it had last been scanned in NH on Jan 2 so I was afraid it may have fallen or slid under a wheel cart at our sort center. The envelope then arrived in Middletown at 1250pm. My daughter had it in her hands about half an hour later!!!!! The relief is unbelievable....

I called to get information on how to renew my passport. It happened to be ten minutes before closing time. A very nice man not only answered my questions but told me what the Saturday hours were for the next day so that I could come in. 😁

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped me ship my package and answer questions.

I’m new to the area so this was my first time visiting the post office. The postal worker was kind and knowledgeable. I was in and out in 5 minutes. It’s the best experience I’ve had at a post office.

With the way this Town is growing each year, Senior Management should take that in consideration in staffing. What I’m seeing is that the first hour or two are busy where customers are either mailing out or picking up mail. They have only one man at the front desk in the morning. I’ve seen customers get nasty at him because they say he’s doing things other clerks aren’t which is slowing down the process. What I see is that this man is following procedures to the T. I think all the clerks do. It’s the customers not coming in with the documentation filled out properly. Signs are posted that you need required personnel Ids and forms of identification. That one man on in the morning also has to go around back to retrieve customers mail that has been on hold or from a business that it’s mail can’t fit in their PO Box. One thing that they could improve on is that some of the forms needed to mail out items are kept behind the counter with the clerks. Also more postings showing of what forms and labels are needed by the customers to mail out their packages. It’s happened to me that I’ve been in a line and have to wait my turn just to get forms. Don’t know why they stopped putting out in the waiting area. Bottom line is even without the virus going on now is that they’re under staffed. This man the other day had to stop serving customers to go to the side door to take someone’s picture. Don’t know if this was for a passport or a picture to be filled to pick up mail. Sorry, too many years of doing the job as an Internal Controls Coordinator and writing procedures. Again, the way our Town is growing, this Agency has to man its operation accordingly.

Always a quick visit...sometimes it’s packed, but the postal workers keep everything moving pretty quickly. Small town post office is really great!
