Lawson's of New Market

I went to Lawsons because I was getting no satisfaction from my other mower service center, could not even get an appointment. The receptionist at Lawsons was friendly and very helpful in getting me set up. They picked up my mower and serviced it delivering it back to me within a few days. They did miss replacing a worn out belt that drove the blades and after having it awhile the belt broke. I had to call them back and they had no problem picking it back up and having the belt replaced. To make up for the issue they did not charge me for pick up or delivery of the machine. They also did not charge me for labor. This is what makes a company great and Lawsons is definitely on that list. I will continue to have them service my mowers.

Lawson's picked up my snowblower for service at the start of winter, and when I tried to use it today, it wouldn't start. When I called, Mike said it had started for him, which I believed because I've dealt with him before, and he just came out to our house to see what was wrong with it, and when he couldn't start it, he plowed the driveway. He'll pick it up once the roads are clear.

You can't beat that.

An update on the 7th. We didn't connect to get the snowblower picked up in the last few days, and today we just got another 3-4 inches dumped on us. Lawson's came out and plowed the driveway again. I didn't even call and ask (it's Sundar), they just did it.

Mike can fix any small engine.

I have been dealing with Lawson's for over 20 years and have always found them reliable and reasonable. Whenever I need a part for my old Wheel Horse 520, they've got it or find it. Mike has never said "no" when I'm in need. I have purchased 4 lawn tractors from them over the years and won't hesitate to go back for more!

Bad customer service, way to much work for the lack of employees. Best to go to a place that can handle real business.

6 weeks to get my trimmer back. I've had transmissions installed in less time.

Hate to write a negative review on a small business, but the experience at Lawson's was one of the worst examples of customer service I have experienced. They originally told me they could diagnose the problem with my riding mower in 2-3 days. 23 days later I asked them to return the mower - unfixed. I was told 8 different times that a mechanic would return my call with the issue and cost of repair - I never received a call. I wasted 23 days and 80 dollars (the cost of pickup/return) and never found out the problem.

Brought my concrete saw in for repair at the beginning of spring because it would not start. Was told it would be about 2 weeks. 3 months later I called to find out the status and was told it would be ready by the end of the week. 3 weeks and 4 phone calls later (no call from them) I was told they cleaned the carburetor, air and fuel filter and it will only run full throttle and it probably needed a new carburetor but there are none available right now. I paid $90 and left with a not fixed concrete saw for $90. I tried several times to start it that week with no success so I brought it to another repair shop (Ripeon equipment) and 3 days later they called me and said they cleaned the carburetor, air filter and fuel filter and it runs perfect. My guess is lawsons didn’t do a thing, charged me $90 or they aren’t very knowledgeable about fixing equipment.

Absolutely terrible experience. Dropped off my mower and was told it would be repaired w/in two weeks. From then there was zero communication from Lawson's and over a month and a half later they "fixed" my mower which was back in the shop after less than two mows! Lawson's is under-staffed, disorganized, and unprofessional. Will never buy a Husqvarna again, or give Lawson's any future business.

Absolute worst experience . Walked in to buy a brand new riding lawn mower. Picked it out was told they needed to order an attachment. Placed an order and left my info. A week later no call, I called to follow up 5! Times and every single time I was given the "very busy we promise to call back today to schedule delivery " here we are a month later I went somewhere else and bought a tractor . Still waiting for that phone call though. Please dont waste your time .

Horrible experience. Promised work within days and after a 1 1/2 weeks, stopped in to check on status and work had not begun...we left with our mower without the repair. We had no choice but to stop in because we could not get a return call after leaving several messages. Not the way we expect to be treated as a patron of a local business and we will not return. We are sharing this so you do not waste your time.

I dropped off my weed trimmer in early July and was told it would be worked on the following week. I called every week or every other week through September. At that point I gave up. I’m sad to provide such a low rating, because they have been reliable in the past. Certainly not this time.

Haven given Lawson 2 months and the opportunity to follow up per his service and word, its safe to say that this mower repair service is overwhelmed during the busy season.

Called about an installer for Lawn robot. Little helpful feedback even though they are a "full service dealer"

The owners wife runs off good customers by not returning calls or following through with special orders, sad.
