Ernie's Ice Cream

The ice cream monster (speaking of myself) who is pretty critical of ice cream met Marisa today, and was recommended two different ice creams in one cup. Java fudge chip
(coffee ice cream with fudge and chocolate chunks)
and Black raspberry blast
(black raspberry ice cream with raspberry filled chocolate cups).
Aaaaamazing! yes not many people mix two different types of flavors but I like to experiment.
The first one had a beautiful hint of coffee mixed in with amazing surprising bites of chewy fudge and little niblets of chocolate pieces.
The second one with a robust flavor of creamy raspberry with nice surprises, a little raspberry filled chocolate cups which just melted and added a surprise blast of additional flavor on top of the ice cream.

Really glad I stopped by to satisfy my ice cream craving! And left verrrry happy!!

Will definitely be back!

Nice local ice cream spot. A good amount of seating (multiple picnic tables and benches) and some pretty planters give its roadside location a bit more character. Great variety of unique flavors - one of the biggest lists of soft serve and regular ice cream flavors around. Was expecting the jolted cow flavor to pack far more of a coffee punch but willing to go back and give another flavor a try. Friendly staff. 2 person line when we visited on a Sunday afternoon in the summer (very reasonable wait).

Nice little drive up ice cream stand. Lots of flavors in both hand dipped and soft serve. I got the expresso fudge chip. Delicious 🤤

Ernies ice cream spot hits the spot when we have a ice cream craving, we just have to make sure we have time to wait on line a long time, at no fault to the employees who work there, it just gets that packed . Would really love some additional gluten free /vegan items .

Very, very well made ice cream. We got a chocolate vanilla swirl soft serve, and 1 scoop each of Jolted Cow, Blackberry, and Chocolate Coconut. 10/10

It’s your typical neighborhood ice cream spot and the local favorite. They serve both traditional flavors plus unique flavors that I rarely see at other ice cream stands! I enjoy the Campfire S’mores and Jolted Cow. Plus, they serve Dole Whip AND it’s dairy free. They also make amazing homemade ice cream cakes.

The line can get long, especially after dinner, but it’s always worth it. Definitely stop by and support this small business! 🍦

My husband bought home a pint of the Mississippi Mud Pie! Damn, it’s so delicious and creamy. This is by far my favorite ice cream shop in New Jersey!

Love this Ice cream stand inexpensive .wide menu of choices update 4/16/2023 when to Erine's for the 1st time this season .Nothing has change since my 1st review. The employees who work here are professional and friendly plus for young people they are polite and know what they have to do.Where others would be overwhelmed by the lines they got the orders done fast .I got a hot fudge sundae that was done so well .Give Erine's a great rating with a cherry on top.Well done Erine's never disappoint.

Ernie’s what can I say about this spot is an awesome ice cream shop. It’s always busy the ice cream flavors are phenomenal. They have so many different options. Go online check out their options. Check out the photos once I don’t have any photos at this moment but I’m not have an ice cream, but I was there about three weeks ago and of course we had salty caramel cheesecake. It’s an excellent place is always my go to if I want fresh ice cream.

I just tried the new flavor Lovestruck Chocolate and it was amazing! So good! Definitely getting it again.

The BEST soft serve EVER! I drive 25 minutes to get to Ernie's and it is worth every second. The soft serve is exceptionally creamy and they have so many flavors! I love the walk up window... tables to sit at and plenty of parking. The most wonderful family owns it too!

They always take really good care of us, accommodating our special orders. :)

Awesome ice cream stand with amazing array of unique and delicious flavors. Lots of soft serve options (mix-in, I believe, but still!). Friendly staff. I had Nutella and Coconut, half and half. Delicious!!!

We tried almost all flavors here. The quality and quantity is good. Strawberry and blackberry flavors are my personal favorites. And, it is on right on the Franklin Turnpike and a nice quick stop on a hot day.

One of the best Ice Cream places in Bergen County! Don't believe me? Heck the line any night or weekend. Great flavors, varieties, low fat and no sugar added options. Parking can be a little tough so be creative but respectful to surrounding businesses. Treat yourself or your family to a visit
