The Beach Street Cafe

Cozy spot for breakfast or lunch. We were on our way home from Pajaro Dunes and found this spot. All four of us had great meals. The burgers are massive, the eggs Benedict are great and the breakfast burrito has lots of options. There's bar, booth and outdoor seating.

The atmosphere is classic diner with plenty of fun decor.

The staff is super friendly and cheerful. There's plenty of parking.

First time at the Beach Street Cafe. I ordered a breakfast burrito, and my wife ordered the french toast. Probably best breakfast burrito I've had for a long time. My wife meal was amazing as well. The service was wonderful, and always asked what you needed. Coffee kept coming without asking. Great place all around, and service was a plus. Highly recommended 👌 👍 👏!

Stopped for early lunch enroute from Monterey to San Jose. Location seems bit strange at first - industrial estate, but once inside it’s all good.

Menu has lots of choice, went with chorizo eggs benny & coffee.

The Crab Benedict was the best I’ve ever had. There was plenty of good sized crab meat and the hollandaise was delicious. The potatoes and burrito were very good as well. Even the side of bacon was perfectly cooked to a crisp! I will definitely be back!

The staff was friendly and polite. The food was good and priced well. We all enjoyed our time there with the outdoor seating. If opportunities allow I would like to go back and enjoy another meal with them. I ordered the country fried steak and eggs. I will love to try something different in the future.

Thank you Beach Street Cafe! The staff was wonderful! The service was excellent and the food was amazing. The scratch made salsa could have been a meal on its own. But the star was the breakfast burrito! It was mind altering, more of a religious experience than breakfast. This was hands down the best breakfast I’ve eaten in 51 years!

Cute brunch place! My wife came across this one and we gave it a try and it was a good experience. The staff is welcoming and friendly, service is great. We tried their veggie omelette with potatoes on the side and sourdough bread, it was good. We would surely recommend this place.

We've been going here for years. Great food, and great hospitality. Your coffee cup will never run dry, and you will definitely leave with a full stomach of goodness.

I had the best breakfast I've eaten in years!! The service was prompt, the people were friendly, and the food was amazing. The small, cozy atmosphere makes you feel right at home. I'll definitely be back with friends next time!

I came during lunch time, and was able to get a table right away. They serve breakfast all day long, and for good reason, it's AMAZING. I ordered the Turkey Avocado burger and made it a double. Fantastic burger, bigger than I could finish and the most avocado I've ever been given on a burger. Portions are well sized and definitely a fair price for the portions served. Humongous pancakes and french toast that from what I was told by my friends who accompanied me for lunch, was pretty great as well. Fun friendly staff and a nice indoor/ outdoor dining experience.

This is such a cute place. The food is absolutely delicious, and the patio is perfect for a warm day in summer. This was a random search from Google and I'm glad this popped up first!

Love this place. Haven’t been back for over 2 years. The chicken fried steak was just as good as the first time. I was sorry I didn’t get to see Abel, he was always so nice to talk to. Everything is good!

Locally owned,all American breakfast and lunch,don’t be fool by the size of this place, amazing service,great atmosphere and tasty food!! It’s a must Go!!

Always a lovely fulfilling meal.

Spent the weekend in Monterey and after spending way too much money at all of the overrated, over priced, over crowded tourist hot spot restaurants, it was amazing to find this gem! The folks who work here were amazing. The vibes were chill. The customers seemed to be mostly locals which made it feel a bit more like coming home... and the food was amazing. We will be back for sure next time we are in the area. Best place we ate at all weekend! The potatoes were fire 🔥

Beach Street Cafe is an institution.
I brought my 15 year old son here today for his 15th birthday breakfast.
Told him how his great-grandmother brought my mom and me there as long as I could remember.
It makes me very happy to see that the place has been so lovingly maintained.

Super friendly staff. Extremely clean....even the bathroom. Food is large proportions. Delicious fresh local fruit. I had the crab omlett which was stuffed with fresh REAL crab. A definite need to stop

First time at this place and oh my goodness the Foods was bomb!!! Great customer service and price wasn’t bad at all. Definitely recommend.
