Hogfish Seafood & Smokehouse

This place is not a fancy place. This place reminds me of a place on the Florida beach where I grew up.
Our server Dasha was kind and attentive. The walleye, cod and Mahi Mahi tasted great. The fried shrimp where huge and the jalapeños hush puppies were awesome.
Can't wait to go back with a designated driver to have a few of thier rum runners.

The wings are so delicious! The smoke flavor and the wing sauce is really good. The cowboy burger was unique and very tasty. The ribs have great flavor as well!

Delicious, this place was awesome I had the fish and chips, hush puppies and margaritas; first time here and went with some friends. Our lovely server Deja was fantastic and kept our drinks full and never skipped a beat. I would definitely recommend this place you can tell the owner is passionate about quality food and service.

We have brought friends and family here, and have always been very happy with the food and service, every time. Drinks are not watered down, like restaurants nearby. You want a great drinks, great food, chill atmosphere come here sir back and enjoy.

We went on a pretty busy day and it was very loud but that didn't detract from how AMAZING the food and service was. My fiance said it was some of the best catfish he has ever eaten! The spicy brisket sandwich was also delicious. They made for great leftovers! As for service, despite it being insanely busy that day, our server was very attentive and on top of things. She was wonderful!

So I'm gonna give this a high rating from the start since I've been here twice in one week. Ambience is relaxed and since there is no beach areas this is the next best thing especially on hot days.

The chips are amazing and the queso and brisket is on a tier of it's own, as you can see there is no photos since my wife and I eat them in a sitting. Drinks are good, I always go for a good moscow mule. Apparently their slaw is good but I don't like dry slaw, it's a me preference so no points docked. I will however give points for having amazing rice, I'm weird I like rice with everything. I love the daiquiris here, since I'm not much of a drinker. Ribs are a on a Tennessee rub style, smokey and great for leftovers. So the portions are great for the price, so if it seems like a lot it's cause it gives you a lot. Also they make one hell of a burger amazed they don't have a reward for that because honestly they need to! The food is fresh; when I say fresh I mean both times I have burned my mouth on the temperature of the food since most places are semi normal with hot to warm temperatures so user beware and staff is very friendly.

Okay so my wife did order a flithy martini and to those who read this segment. I appreciate you. So we actually have a contender to bdubs/Buffalo Wild Wings Longmont; But on a note of balanced taste according to my wife who helps this segment. So have to revisit these contenders for best Martinis so stay tuned for ratings thus far they're on the same level. So rock on to Loveland's Hogfish for best Martinis in the city!

Hands down the best fish and chips I have ever eaten! We googled some place to have lunch, we just enjoy visiting places we have never been as long as they have good reviews and this place did. Monica seated us and we were served out drinks quickly. Having never been there we asked what she recommended. The first thing she bragged about was the fish and chips and to my husband's surprise that that's what I ordered. So he got the fish and shrimp combo. The fish was very flaky and the crust, I can't say enough about the crust on that fish, it was a crunchy, melt in your mouth deliciousness. The second thing she recommended was their fries and they didn't let us down either. The fries had a little batter on the just very light and they were super crispy. Monica was very nice, and we even got to meet the chef/owner, Brent, who was afraid to share his breading tricks with us. It's a 45 minute drive from where we are now but we will go back, and soon. There are a lot of interesting dishes on the menu that we can't wait to try. Thank you so much for a wonderful lunch in a great atmosphere!

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Definitely a good place to eat both my wife and I love this place. Best of both worlds Seafood and Barbecue. We live a few hours away from this place but make it a point to stop here whenever we are passing by on I-25 in Colorado. Staff is ALWAYS friendly! My favorite is the Brisket!!!! Sorry I don’t have anymore pictures this is what we ate this weekend.

The owner / chef is a wizard! And his staff up front ..Noel, Kayden, Kylee, and Dasha are absolute rockstars.

This place is easily in the top 3 places to east in northern Colorado.

Amazing seafood, fun atmosphere, sweet staff, great drinks and very affordable! Many locals love this spot and recommended it. We checked it out and really enjoyed our experience. If you have not already... Go check them out!!

Excellant service and very clean establishment. Our food was beyond awesome. The wife and I were out riding the Harley and came across this restaurant but were there about 2 hours before opening time. The owner, Brent, sat down with us out front and talked for a bit and seemed like a very nice person. We finally left but came back later on to get something to eat. We were so glad we did. Very seldom do I find ribs that I don't need to put sauce on. The rub was perfect. My wife's food came with a spicy orange marmalade sauce that should be bottled and sold to the masses. We went home with smiles on or faces, full bellies and leftovers for a midnight snack. Thank you Brent and give a thanks to the waitstaff. Our waitress was very busy but remained very attentive. Cudos. We will be back in the near future along with bringing some friends.

Excellent dry rub on the ribs. The brisket was tender and delicious. Our waitress, Jayla, was outstanding. Highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to get back and try the fish selections.

These might be the BEST hickory smoked ribs in the state of Colorado. Incredibly tender, juicy and perfect hickory flavor. The brisket was ok, I prefer sliced brisket over chopped, but it wasn’t anything to complain about. The mac ‘n cheese had a little spicy kick to it and the fries were awesome! Finding properly smoked ribs in Colorado is a chore, but I hit the jackpot when I randomly selected Hogfish Smokehouse off of Google Maps. A++++ bbq. The taste left my tastebuds salivating for more. This is one customer that will definitely be returning for more! Service was also top notch.

While searching for a place in town that served peel and eat shrimp, we stumbled upon this restaurant. Checked out the menu and decided to give it a shot. We are so glad we did! We are huge fans of BBQ and seafood so this was perfect. We started with a pound of peel and eat shrimp, which were a little overcooked, but the seasoning was delicious. For our meal we ordered the Smoked Feast for Two which comes with 1/2 Rack Ribs 1/2 Chicken 1/2 lbs. Brisket or Pork 1 Andouille Fries, Cole Slaw and Beans. We also got a side of Mac & Cheese. Everything was delicious!!! The Mac & Cheese had peppers of some sort in it, just enough spice to give it some great flavor. The portions were very generous- so much so that we took home probably 75% of the meal after stuffing ourselves! We will definitely be back!

Service was great. Our main dishes were amazing. The only thing that was “okay/decent” was the calamari that we ordered as an appetizer. My husband said that you could tell that it was frozen prior to serving since it had the unusual “fishy” taste (and he has been spoiled with the best of the best when it comes to sea food, since he grew up next to the ocean). My husband had the World’s Best Spicy Brisket Sandwich, and I had the Cod fish and chips, which were both great. My 13 month old son had the Dino chicken nuggets and fries which he didn’t complain about. He loved it.

Overall, I give it 5/5 and we will be back.

This has to be one of my NEW favorite best places to eat in Loveland! Amazing flavor and quality of food in serving the best of both worlds of seafood and BBQ. Attention to detail in the preparation and presentation. Customer experience provided by staff and servers is phenomenal. Cassie was outstanding in her attention to detail with a smile and polite demeanor. Vinnie is a pleasant ambassador when working and talking with customers. Even had a brief moment with one of the owners Kamie who knows how to take care of her customers. Excellent food, flavor, and fun! Will be back...

Always amazing food and fantastic service! Highly recommend the buffalo shrimp (not on the menu but they'll make it!) Definitely need to add that to the menu permanently!!

I got a Philly Your Way to-go cause I needed a cheesesteak in my life not from that other 'Philly inspired' place. They knocked it out of the park! Huge sandwich with fresh ingredients and the fries stayed crispy! Brisket was moist and well seasoned, will order again!
