Sea & Steak Restaurant

This place was amazing! The food was great, the service was extremely nice, and the restaurant was well cleaned and decorated. It was also my daughter's birthday and we got free cupcakes. They were hand-made and the icing wasn't too sweet. I really would recommend coming here!

Phenomenal service and food! As I walked in, I was greeted by the most friendliest waitress! She was very attentive and such a joy to be around. The steak that I ordered was cooked exactly how I wanted and it was absolutely perfect! Love the relaxing atmosphere! I talked to the owner and he was just as friendly and nice. Can't wait to come back again, and again!

The Owners are Great Folks, and Chef came out and asked me "how you like it"? Filet Mignon and Shimp, Perfect! Best Lima Beans Recipe, Ever! Strong Recommend on SEA & STEAK! Their lunch buffet is very reasonable. 📰🥇🕺💃

The customer service was great and the food was outstanding. I had the quail mix,the food was seasoned to perfection. My hat off to the cook for a great meal.

Very quick, friendly service around dinner time on a Saturday. I had fried and grilled quail-tasty both ways, but really liked grilled. My 8 yr. Old gave their fried catfish "3 thumbs up."

I love this place! We were greeted with a smile when we walked in. The server was so precious! The food was perfectly yummy! We are looking forward to being in the area again, so we can eat here again!

I first walked in I was greeted with smile from both husband and wife. The food was awesome and the people were better. If I could give them 20 stars if I would. We ate here because we were staying at the motel next door. Due to one of the reviews here, we went in with some worry about what the expense might be. When we arrived, we found that the prices were extremely reasonable and appropriate for a small-town casual American food restaurant. We ordered cheeseburgers, which were generously sized, delicious, and served piping hot. With them came some of the best-cooked crinkle-cut fries I think I've ever had (nice and crispy on the outside, not mealy or mushy). We believe that the review stating that a few appetizers cost them $60 must have been posted for the wrong establishment. It just doesn't make sense for a review of this place. (We found out there is a similarly-named restaurant 26 miles away, so perhaps it was a case of mistaken identity). EAT HERE! You won't be sorry.

Had the hot bar lunch that served chicken fried steak. Food was delicious, green beans and mashed potatoes seasoned to perfection. Owner was very personable and served us huge portions along with a cupcake. Would visit again just to try the quail.

We were traveling through Loxey and came across this diner. We decided to stop for dinner and we are so glad we did. The food was excellent but the service was amazing.
The owner Mike waited on us and is a true Southern Gentleman. Other diners in the restaurant were so friendly and striking up conversations with us. The portions were big and the owner even made my salad extra big since I didn't order an extra side dish. It was a truly amazing atmosphere with the friendliest people you will ever meet.

Great food and attention, small place and very warm atmosphere

GOOD REVIEW!! First of all, be aware that Google maps has this place in the wrong location. It is actually a little further south than indicated on this road. After visiting Gulf Shores, Alabama, we stopped on our way home to eat here. It was about 830 at night and you could tell the place had very little business. The reason for this was because it was past closing time! However, when we went inside the waitress and the cook both came out and welcomed us to their restaurant. Since it was about 830 at night I asked them what time they normally closed. They said that they normally close at 8 but they would be very happy to seat us (they were still open due to one other table of guests). The waitress was extremely helpful and delightful the entire time. I ordered an oyster Po-boy and the tartar sauce was simply amazing. All of us were very surprised and delighted that the food was so very good! For a place that was past closing time we were all surprised that this was the best meal of our day and possibly of our trip.

The homestyle cooking is just good old comfort food. Great value. Owner and staff actually come around and make certain you are full and happy. We want to try dinner there, heard the steaks are awesome.

Great place, great staff, great environment. Try the hamburger steak or their delicious chicken if you have a chance!

Service was very friendly. The Grouper is fresh Gulf caught and Delicious. We will come back.

Stopped at about 2:15, they shut down the hot bar at 2:30, the owner came out and greeted me personally, and I selected my food from the bar, and it was all delicious, food was fresh, I had the fried chicken but the roasted pork looked incredible. Homemade macaroni, cabbage and mashed potatoes. About the time I was finishing my meal I was the only one eating (lunch rush had slowed) the owner and employees sat down together and had lunch, the owner (Mr. Mike) taking time to talk to both employees, and have a great conversation, he is an extremely nice man and comes across as very genuine. When it came time to pay my bill he was the one to hop up and encouraged the other two to finish eating their lunch. I was as impressed by the service as I was the food.

Definitely will be returning!

I have to be honest, I was put off by the outside appearance of this place. But my wife insisted. The food is great. Comfort food, and not bland to try and satisfy everyone. I could taste baked brown sugar in every bite of the sweet potatoes, and the Lima beans were simmered in a broth I would love to have the recipe for. We will be going back.
