Arizona Wilderness Gilbert Brewpub

Absolutely phenomenal. From the hostess booth all the way through service a 100%. The food was great, the portion sizes were perfect. The fries were crispy and my pink burger was pink. Lots of toppings lots of sauce. They were fully attentive and knowledgeable. There nothing worse then going to a brewery and the wait staff knows NOTHING about the beer their serving. The staff here was fully engaged with the process all the way down to the hops included in each brew. We fully enjoyed this visit and will definitely be visiting a dozen more times so we can try everything on the menu!

The Greeter/ Hostess was outstanding !!!
She was warm and welcoming ensuring me we had come to the right place.
Our server, Jackie was delightful !! She made easy conversation , took her time to tell us (first time visitors) about the beers etc . She was unrushed and made us feel valued which is a real talent in a young server !!
The people are what really make this establishment stand out (in my opinion).

However having said that …. “The Beer was Fabulous “. We chose the Hazy Ciudad IPA … !! It tasted amazing and it smelled even better !!! The Bacon and Bluecheese burger was too good to be true !! And the beet/ apple salad a great accompaniment to my filling burger …
Hubby gave the beer 5/5, staff 5/5, the food 4/5 and the server a 40% tip because she was so great !!!

We were in the area and decided to try some local breweries. It's a really cool location with a great selection of beers. We settled on the IPA and triple IPA. Both tasted great. I like West Coast IPA and they do it right. My girlfriend also had a whiskey based cocktail and it was delicious. Food-wise, I had the confi wings, which were to die for. I'm picky with my wings, but those are special. They just fall apart in your mouth. The duck fat fries are delicious. Our only complaint was what my girlfriend got. The "banh-mi" is not really banh-mi, it's served in a burger bun, so it wasn't that great, not what we expected. The accompanying beet salad was great though. Overall, great place, highly recommend other than the "none-mi." Oh, and our service was spot on and very attentive.

One of the best breweries in Arizona, lots of amazing on the tap beer and the food here is also great! The atmosphere at night is beautiful when seated outside and it’s well maintained and clean.

We stopped here, suitcases in tow, to kill some time. We sat on the patio. Great service. Amazing food. The tacos were outstanding. The elote dip we added some hot sauce to. We split the hot honey pulled pork sandwich and wished we'd each gotten our own, it was so good.

I come to this place quite often. They are quick. They are super kind. Food is amazing! They have so many tasty beers too which is why I love coming here! Seriously can’t beat this place it’s amazing.

Fun place, with an outstanding beer list and very tasty food. We had a flight of five beers, all were great and not too pricey. The western burger was HUGE, and delicious, the crispy onions a highlight. The service was also excellent, and very very fast! Really nice brewpub.

My wife and I had an incredible experience here at Arizona Wilderness. We each got burgers and they tender, juicy, and seasoned well. The duck fat fry's were crispy, flavorful, and to die for! And that's just the food! The beer was also remarkable. They had a wide variety selection including some lagers, stout, Belgian dubbel, cider, but mostly seemed to focus on IPA's and farmhouse ales which were all very tasty.

Our server Miguel was everything we could ask for in a server! He was super knowledgeable on the beer and was ready with whatever we threw at him. We greatly appreciated his service and he certainly enhanced our experience!

We loved the venue with its indoor, outdoor feel. The little tap room was really cool and a ton of merchandise to choose from. We also found everything from food to beer to be reasonably priced for the quality that you received. If I had any critiques, it would be that the parking lot and restrooms are not big enough. We arrived at an odd hour for dinner like around 4pm on a Friday and there was barely anybody there. By the time we left around 6pm the place was packed. There were several cars circling the parking lot looking for a spot and waiting for us to leave. So I would definitely recommend getting there earlier on the weekend!

All in all we had a great time and will certainly be back!!

Absolutely loved my elote burger and fries. The Buffalo cauliflower was amazing too! I feel like a picture says 1000 words so I'll keep this short and sweet, AZ Wilderness makes a fantastic burger and even better cocktails🍸 go and enjoy!

Willing to give more stars. Customer service a 100% best I've had. The food was great, and the portion sizes were perfect. The fries were crispy, and the chicken sandwich was amazing. The server was attentive and knowledgeable. The beer variety is perfect 👌. They also have a prickly pear cider that I highly recommend. They have made a lifetime Customer and will be recommending this place to all my friends.

We visited Az Wilderness for an early dinner around 4 pm. They were busy but were able to get a table outside right away. The restaurant was clean and all empty tables were bused. We opted for a table on the back patio, which was nicely shaded. We were greeted with some water within a couple of minutes after being sat. We first ordered a round of cocktails, which were very tasty. We followed those with some local beers they made on tap, which were also very good. The food was all very good, served with unique sauces. The staff was very efficient and friendly. Next time I'm in the area we will visit again.

Came here Monday 1/2/23 at the end of the lunch hour. We were seated quickly. My husband and daughter, who are the true beer drinkers, said they had an amazing variety of beers, including sours, ales and lagers. They said there was definitely something for everyone and it had good taste. They also had some Arizona themed cocktails and a wine. Food was pub fare and pretty decent. Dog friendly on the patio. Our service was outstanding! Great stop, especially if you're picking up someone from the airport.

Amazing Bartender was also our server- amazing incredible food and will be supporting this business many more times! Quality ingredients and many kuddos! Server was very descriptive with beer options and ingredients which assisted in finding the perfect choice to enjoy! We enjoyed burgers and chicken sandwiches and all were exceptional!!!

Wandering downtown in the Roosevelt District and came across this little gem. OK it’s not very little or undiscovered, but it was a delight. I have a friend who is somewhat vegan and she was able to find a ton of options on this menu. They have a great base and you can kind of cater a few things. They’ve quite streamlined it so that everybody leaves happy.

There is a ton of indoor and outdoor seating. I love that they offer water to everybody as it’s facing the street. It seems like even though they are a bougie brewery they do try their best to be environmental and community focused, so I have to seriously respect that.

I got a burger and it was not cheap at $17. It was a really really excellent burger and it was downtown. The food came fast and felt real. Like the ingredients were very quality in the french fries were delicious. I didn’t feel gross after eating it even though I’m not a regular burger eater. They have a good mix of pub, food and health food and a ton of vegetarian options.

You start a tab at either the food spot or the beer spot but you can keep adding which is delightfully dangerous. I got a half pour of a Muir. It was not my jam, but I knew it was not going to be my jam when I ordered it. As in, I was excited to try it, but I knew it was not something I wanted to drink a full pint of. The bartenders are all incredibly friendly and patient even though they are busy. Wonderful service all around. They had great advice to give when I asked, and seemed very passionate about their pours. They also have a mixture of beers and some good local wine and cocktails so there’s a ton for anyone.

Was certainly a really wonderful experience. I love the environment, the food, staff and the drink.

One of the best breweries in town! I've frequented this spot many times and it quickly became a favorite for the beer and the food! You simple cannot come here without getting some of their fries! We mixed it up this time and got the green chili sliders and tacos and they were great but I think their burgers are where it's at it!

Elote` burger was a great treat this time. Food has never disappointed here and the ever changing beer menu is refreshing.

Love this place. Always seems busy and for good reason. Great food! The beer choices are also excellent with most leaning towards IPAs and sours. This combination of an apple sour with the apple bacon burger was perfect. Will visit this place many more times. Also has a great merch store!

Mulberry Holiday was amazing. Different but refreshing. Nachos were soggy but asked for a side of fresh chips and it was great. Our server Joey was so nice and recommended some good stuff.

Lovely brewpub - cosy and attractive interior, great and friendly staff and brilliant selection of beers (the watermelon one was delicious!). Lots of vegan-friendly food. Had a tasty ‘chicken’ burger and fries. Good music playing too. Sweet place!

Hands down, BEST brewery in Gilbert! Highly recommend the AZ Wilderness burger with a pint of Refuge. The team members are always happy to see you and provide excellent service! They have the second best patio for day drinking in the AZ sunshine. This is a business that cares about giving back and being part of the community in which they live. Monthly they brew beers to raise awareness about mental health and other causes that are important. Keep up the good work AZW and we will see you soon!
