Farnsworth Cocktail Bar

This place is a hidden gem. It’s so unique and cozy inside. The staff was very friendly and they really took their time to make each dish perfectly presentable and delicious. I will definitely be back. The gnocchi was good, the maple syrup gave it a sweetness that complimented the sausage. The burger was amazing! I didn’t eat the bun because it was huge but the flavor was spot on. My husband said the oysters were delicious! The lemon drop was also incredible

Inspired cocktails perfectly crafted with an impossibly fresh raw bar. Service was fast and attentive during dinner on a Saturday night. Definitely worth the short trip down the Trail from Toledo.

Delicious food! Limited menu, but everything was very tasty and cooked to perfection. Service was not great, but it was busy. Oysters were all very good.

A great experience all around. The building is a old bank ( safe door still in tact) the food is very sophisticated. We got the salmon dip, oysters and the burger as well as a few cocktails. Every bite was delicious. Sullivan the bartender was very attentive and the drinks were strong. We will definitely be going back to try the rest of the menu.

I ordered the Double Cheese Smash Burger - with the Fried Egg and Bacon - it was plentiful and sooo delicious!

The owner was there and talked to us often during the evening. We were new to oysters and he gave advice on what each one would be like. The place is an old bank and they maintained the vault as part of the bar. Enjoyed the experience and are planning to return

My experience at The Bank on Farnsworth was nothing short of 5 stars. The food was absolutely incredible. Major creds to Chef! The drinks were made perfectly and served in an exceptional time from ordering. Tanner was our bartender. He had a great personality and truley made our experience lovely. Will be back again and again! Prices were also good! If you’re looking at reviews, listen to this one because it was an amazing experience.

Walked by on the way into the cigar bar, saw the sign and stopped in for a drink. Everyone was amazing. We stopped by the bar for a cocktail and Josh told us the history of the restaurant and the building. It is a unique restaurant with plenty of history. Already planing our next visit to explore the menu but will be back to for sure! 100% recommend.

This place is pretty sweet. Great atmosphere, great service, and great food. The burger with bacon was very good. My wife got the BBQ shrimp, also very good. We'll be back.

The Farnsworth experience has been a long time coming, but totally worth the wait! The menu is constantly evolving and there is always a new food item/drink to try each time you go in. It is so nice to have a high end seafood restaurant in the area where you can trust that every detail is meticulously prepared and perfected. The NY strip was unbelievable, my first taste of caviar was surprisingly delicious, and Saison Dupont on draft was the cherry on top. I can’t say enough about the work Josh and his team put in to make our experience feel personalized and unique, will definitely continue to be a routine stop in the future. Keep up the good work Farnsworth team!

My girlfriend and I made reservations for dinner the weekend before, but I had to reschedule due to scheduling conflicts. I edited my reservation for this weekend. I hadn't gotten a confirmation, so I called just to make sure we were all set. I called to find that the editing of the reservation did not take, and they were all booked up. I asked if they had bar seating and if they would reserve two seats at the bar. I understand unorthodox, but nonetheless, I was desperate. They were so accommodating and granted my request. When we went there we were greeted right away, atmosphere lovely, decor very rustic yet elegant. The hostest greeted us and then showed us to the table they accommodated for us. I was so impressed with the customer service. The food was amazing. Drinks were refreshing and delicious. I couldn't have asked for a better night. We will be back.

I have been multiple times each better than the last! the menu is always changing and each dish feels well thought out and unique with an amazing balance of flavors on everything I’ve tried it has turned me into a seafood fan it all tastes so fresh the cocktails are amazing and to top it off great staff and amazing vintage bank atmosphere I can’t say enough about this gem of a restaurant

Corn leek soup... light and bright with a delicious salad! The red snapper was perfection, and make sure to start with some oysters. Renee was spot on as a server and helped us enjoy our time on the peaceful patio for dinner.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Farnsworth last evening in celebration of a friend’s birthday. Not only was the food amazing, but the attention to the little details and fun interaction with the team really took things to the next level. Farnsworth is a must do not only for celebrations but also when you want a really well executed meal in a very warm, friendly environment. My husband and I went here after my graduation and had a great time! We got the smoked salmon dip, torched oysters, dozen raw oysters, and a mule/daiquiri. My only critique is I wish the menu was larger!

A wonderful Waterville addition, years in the making. The menu has expanded and reservations can now be made if you have a group of 6 or less. It's a great place for oysters and cocktails, but the rest of the menu shouldn't be overlooked if you're not a fan of shellfish.

this place is a dime! I had the best scallops I’ve ever eaten thanks to Skye’s recommendation. She is so fun to talk to and I wish I’ve been here sooner! Get the bread when you order the scallops, trust me

Went to Farnsworth Cocktail bar last night for the first time. Excellent service, food was wonderful, especially if you like seafood and oysters on the half shell! The “torched” garlic butter oysters were incredible, so was the steak! Sauce is fantastic, but the sauce is spicy, order on the side or without if you don’t like spice! The BREAD was to die for! THICK, dense, but moist and grilled! STRONG drinks and it’s beautiful on the inside! How they utilized the bank safe was very creative! Great experience!

Josh and his team at Farnsworth are amazing. I had my husbands 40th birthday party there and everything was top notch from the service to the food. I would highly recommend Farnsworth for a private event, an evening out, or just a couple of cocktails.
