Chimichanga llama

What an excellent experience. The food was delicious! Chef Jamie came out to even check on us. He did wonderful with taking in my special requests. This place rocks! The crew are great!

This place was a 10/10 for good food, good service, and good strong drinks. We had birria chimichanga, quesadillas, and a traditional beef chimichanga. We also had the 3 amigos chip dip flight and margaritas. Everything was delicious, fresh, and hot. The quality was impeccable and our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and patient. Overall, this was a great experience and a new favorite.

I am a local and this is a great local eatery I love all of their chimichangas as well as their dips. For chips and salsa I would definitely come here and it's super close to the beach. Great place to stroll the peer afterwards and all the people you are super friendly.

The outside seating area was very clean, covered, and had fans. Servers checked on us regularly and were very nice. House margarita is very affordable at only $5. I ordered nachos, and they were some of the best I have ever had. My companion ordered a quesadillia and stated that it was a little bland whish is the only reason for 4 stars on food. Typical Mexican restaurants have free salsa and chips but this is a paid appetizer at this restaurant.

What a wonderful lunch we had! Myra, our waitress, was amazing…she made the best suggestions, was super attentive and had a great attitude. The fish tacos and shrimp bang bang tostada were delicious…nice and fresh with great taste and presentation. We didnt feel at all rushed and were well attended to. We enjoyed a few delicious drinks too! We will definitely be back!

Chimichanga Llama is a hidden gem for fish taco lovers! The service is outstanding, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. Prices are reasonable, and the quality of the food is exceptional. The fish tacos are a standout – perfectly cooked, flavorful, and fresh. This place is definitely not a tourist trap

I love this little open air restaurant. Right across from Surfside Pier, this place is hopping!

The food is always fresh, staff friendly and always has live local musicians.

We stopped in on a Saturday night 830
Margaritas were great. I had the chicken tinga quesidilla and my bf had la casa chicken quesadilla. For an appetizer, we order the chips and queso. I loved it all. Salsa was fresh and spicy and the queso was thick and flavorful.

When we first arrived and sat at the bar, they had an entertainer who was finishing his last set. We heard 3 songs which were painfully loud. Conversation was impossible which was disappointing.

This is our 3rd visit and will be back!

Had a great evening at Chimichanga Llama. Food was tasty with pretty presentations, foot tapping live music, fun ambiance, and just awesome service by Cameron. Highly recommend !

Emma our waitress was incredible! Lovely food and service. This was our first time checking this spot out and the food, drinks, and service was perfect! Emma was very attentive, knowledgeable, and patient. Thank you for a great experience !

Love this place! Amazing food and service! Our server Reilly was awesome. She made sure we had everything and was very sweet. Would definitely recommend her! She made our experience 10 times better. Drinks were amazing and food came out very quick!

Great food, live music, and was kid friendly! I went with my 6 year old after a long day in the sun, who was interested in the live music. We had an amazing time and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. He got to speak with the performer on our way out, which was a huge highlight for him. I can’t recommend this place enough! The cheese dip and salsa was also great.

Went for dinner and it was not busy at all. But it is the off season right now. Young man was our server- very polite and attentive. We did the dip trip for an appetizer. My husband got 3 tacos with rice and beans. He was very excited about the birria taco. I got a quesadilla. All of our food was very good. Thank you to the owner for letting us know about the locals discount. We can’t wait to go back and bring our family with us.

I am stunned this place only has 4 stars. Llama nachos were amazing. Fresh, delicious and a huge plate. We were out for an early dinner & decided to get salads to go we were so full. The $5 house margaritas? Can’t beat that. Yummy and cheap definitely worth it. Staff is super nice and very chill atmosphere. Lots of families with little ones there being that it was early. We’ll definitely be back. Seth was our waiter and he was awesome.

Shocked this place has ANY bad reviews. Came to visit with my wife tonight… We sat at the bar and WOW. The service from Maddie and River was unmatched. Food tasted great, everything came out quickly, live music was enjoyable, the restaurant was clean. I will say, it was warm inside with the doors open, but its a restaurant on the beach, I came to enjoy the salty air with my margarita!!!

Oh my gosh. BEST chimichanga and tacos I’ve had. On vacation from AZ and highly recommend this place!! Riley and Brady are so nice and provided great service!! Will definitely come back !!

Second visit here, VERY delicious food, solid drinks. The location is perfect and the staff are kind and helpful. Can’t find any gripes with this place at all. They go the extra mile to make the menu a bit creative (looking at you dorito nachos!)

Service was super. Atmosphere was awesome. Food was fantastic. Myra was our server and we could not have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be back next time we’re in the Myrtle Beach/Surfside area!

Went to the Llama yesterday and it was so good! I loved the atmosphere and music. The hostess was so nice and friendly and took us to a table out front where the breeze was perfect. Our server was fantastic and was very attentive and sweet. I got a fluffy taco which is to die for. Definitely recommend.

Went to Chimichanga Llama for lunch today and I absolutely loved it. Awesome atmosphere, great service and our food was delicious. I had the house special which is a piece of Mahi served over street corn hominy. I loved it, delicious, filling and unique!
My wife had a beef chimi and sister had the nachos which were piled high with all the fixings.
We also ordered chips and guacamole for an appetizer. (Guac was fresh and really good).
I really can't wait to try the tacos on our next visit.
