Love this place, the food and the people are amazing and make a wonderful experience! We frequent here quite often. Love to support local and hardly ever a wait for a seat! The food is fresh and delicious. The wait is a little longer as it is all cook to order but the wait staff is readily available to chat and the music is just right you can enjoy the atmosphere or have conversation at your table.

YES, GO HERE. This is your sign. I am OBSESSED with Lima Limon Peruvian Restaurant, and only after one trip. Let me tell you, it is without a doubt worth the drive into the depths of Kuna. You won't find authentic Peruvian food elsewhere in the Treasure Valley that tastes this fantastic.
Drinks! Their menu offers several traditional Peruvian and Mexican cocktails, as well as imported and domestic beer and your familiar non-alcoholic drinks.

My husband stuck with the always great Stella Artois (or so he says) and I ordered Peru's national cocktail Pisco Sour (Peruvian brandy blended with lime, egg white and jarabe de goma, garnished with bitters, $9.00). Unlike anything I had ever had before. It wasn't made very strong, but it wasn't overly sweet so you could still taste the brandy. Probably the most exotic drink I've had in a while. Yes, it does taste exotic. *FYI there are no prices on their drink menu as it is based of the market and availability of ingredients.

The food was a knock out. Holy wow, it's been a while since I had food this unique, this delicious. I bellied up to the Bistec Alo Pobre (juicy grilled steak served with rice, fried plantains and fried egg, with traditional salad, $19.50). The steak was cooked absolutely perfect! It's not a huge piece, thinner and oh so tender. I LOVED the fried plantains. They were delectable, almost like a side dessert but paired so well with a bite of meal and egg. Think fireworks in your mouth. I mean you couldn't get a bad bite. Everyone went so well together. I would order this again and again.
My husband ordered the most unique looking dish, Aji de Gallin
a (delicious shredded chicken breast covered in yellow Peruvian pepper cream, piso bread, topped with parmesan cheese served with white rice). This dish is phenomenal! I thought I liked my dish - I liked his even more. The flavor is exquisite. Moist, tender chicken smothered in rich, creamy sauce. Reminded me of Singaporean-style curry, only a less spicy. If you're really in the food for something different, this is it.

The vibe is wonderful. Lima Limon is the perfect spot if you're looking to eat someplace lowkey, laidback and friendly. There aren't many seats, and it's encouraged you make reservations, especially for weekend dinners. I enjoyed the humble, atmosphere. I did find some of the décor rather curious, but I don't know much about Peruvian artwork and culture, so it's not my place to judge. I enjoyed the boastful colors, though.

Friendly staff and a big menu to choose from 🤩 little expensive but the food is flavourful. Their ceviche mixto was great! Sangrita was very refreshing and tasty. The only thing that I didn’t enjoy much was the chicken was a little chewy in the pollada. Rice in Arroz Chaufa was yummy!

***What an awesome little gem in kuna! It's so good you'll scrape your plate clean!!***
We decided to stay local in town for our date night and chose to go to Lima Limon. We made an excellent choice! The food was amazing and the prices are great! The waitress was so sweet and helpful. The cook came out to make sure they understood our special request. They made something for us that isn't on their menu. And they did a fantastic job! Looking forward to returning with the whole family.

Never had Peruvian before and we were blown away. We had the papa appetizer and the shredded chicken and carne entrees. Wow. So flavorful, delicious and unique. Definitely recommend if you’ve never tried it!!!

We were just on a drive and got hungry. We like to support local business and saw this restaurant on the old Main Street. Menu says Mexican/Peruvian! It intrigued us so we decided to try it. Tacos de Birria looked good to share so that's what we ordered, along w chips and salsa.
That beef taco was delicious especially dipped in the small container of "consume" provided! Wow! What flavor. I loved how the taco shell was toasted like a pannini
w out the grooves!
I highly recommend this place and we will be back.

Go, go right now! No but seriously, my husband and I had the yummiest dinner!
We don't get a date night very often. We live in Boise but the grandparents live in Kuna. So after dropping off the kiddos, we wanted to try somewhere close by. We were NOT disappointed!
Keep in mind that yes you might have a bit of a wait but the wait was so worth it for us!
The margaritas were amazing and I got the fajitas and that was incredible! We will definitely be coming back!!

We went for an early Friday night dinner, was empty at 5:30 but filling up by the time we left. I had the half chicken. I don't normally eat the skin but today I did. The flavor on it was amazing. I wasn't the biggest fan of the dressing on the salad. My husband got the steak, which also had a great flavor. I was surprised with how good the fries were, I expected them to be mediocre but they were pretty good.

I lived in Chile for a while and ate my fair share of Peruvian food while in South America. When I heard about this place I figured I had to try it and I was very impressed by how good the food was, and how closely it resembled many of the dishes I enjoyed in South America. The service here is absolutely amazing, and the restaurant is very clean and cozy. I had Aji de Gallina and really enjoyed it, and the other people at my table had lomo saltado, carne al pisco, and pollo con crema. Everyone enjoyed their food. I'd also recommend trying a pisco sour when you visit, a really delicious cocktail common in Chile and Peru.

Delicious! Very unique spices; I'll be back. I'm not sure the name of the two dishes we got, I let the waitress choose.

It's such a great little mom and pop place in downtown Kuna. I had street tacos, which were delightful. They also have a Peruvian menu worth the stop.

The wait time is long. This is due to the restaurant not having enough employees. However after having to wait for so long and you finally take a bite of your ordered food, you start to realize that the wait was truly worth it. I've already gone to this restaurant three times and have had the same experience every time I visited here.
