A very nice place to cool off for the Nordic fest parade. Unique small plates and interesting ciders. Chorizo stuffed dates, bacon wrapped and baked in a romesco sauce. Sweet, spicy and salty flavor blended perfectly.

Huge open space, plenty of tables and games and events planned! The ciders are dry or semi-sweet. Very creative profiles like elderberry and lavender. We did a flight of 4x and it was about $10. Great place to stop in for a drink! Stay for a charcuterie board too!

I don't often write reviews, but felt compelled to write one for Convergence today.

I have been coming to Convergence a few times a year or so since they opened. The sheer volume and thoroughness of detail in the building, from the immaculate cidery fermentation room to the restored beams in the dining area to the nuances in the bar, is remarkable. It is clear that the owners went the full mile in creating a very specific atmosphere, and they did an impressive job at that.

It is also neat to see a business that is walking the walk on focusing on reinforcing regional character in their offerings. Their cider is made with apples from local orchards, ingredients from local producers and new menu (which I tried today) is from a local bakery. If keeping your money in your community is an economic principle you subscribe to, this is a good place to vote with your dollar.

I don't generally drink hard cider, but every one I have tried here is excellent. In a world saturated in beers, this is a refreshing alternative. I would like a fall/winter offering that pairs as well with cooler temps as their current crisp ciders do with summer temps. Fresh-pressed, super-sweet, pulp-filled, rust-red, hazy-opaque orchard cider was a staple of my childhood, and is as far as I'm concerned the true taste of autumn. A whiskey-spiked cider Hot Toddy in a big coffee mug would be a wonderful addition to their offerings.

Now to what inspired me to write this review; the steak/onion/potato pasty I had today. I love Decorah, but there is a lack of places to get fast, casual, hearty food. This pasty was all three of those things, and filled that niche. With an explosively flaky pastry crust filled with perfectly cooked potatoes and juicy seasoned steak, I couldn't be bothered to put it down long enough to take a picture of it. You'll just have to go in and try it for yourself A side of coleslaw would have made it perfect.

Highly recommended.

Loved the variety of ciders! Owners were so friendly and helpful. We had the Flyway Gold, which was the best cider we have ever had! Ended up buying 2 4-packs. Had the baked Brie with apple slices and it paired delightfully with the cider! We enjoyed playing some table shuffleboard as well😊

If you enjoy exploring interesting and regional ciders then this place is a ton of fun. Get a flight and check out the latest brews. Easy walking distance from downtown and outdoor seating if desired. The menu includes some gluten free options. The trout salad was excellent. After a long bike ride on nice spring day, this place hit the spot.

We were on a trip to Decorah with friends and their kids, totaling 12 of us, and we had a blast at Convergence! We were greeted with a smile as soon as we came in, they had cider slushies for the kids, such a fun variety of ciders - we tried and enjoyed the majority of them, the food menu was better than expecting, and there were several games and board games for everyone to enjoy. We spent hours just hanging out and will for sure go back the next time we’re in that area!

This place is amazing ! I got the grilled cheese with basil and tomato on a light rye. It was grilled perfectly and the bread was to die for. The side was a white bean salad. I have to tell you it was so fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this place. The atmosphere is great too!

We were in the area for our New Year's weekend getaway. We were exploring waterfalls and finding some grocaches while in town. We happened to notice this cidery and wanted to give it a try. Glad we did!! 😊. Very friendly and knowledgeable owner and worker. We got a flight of ciders and had a pasty to go along with it. Both were delicious!! I love how the owner partners with local businesses, from the food available to the fact when you get a cider, it helps a local organization! That's fabulous!! Wish we lived closer, or you sold your ciders in Wisconsin.

Convergence Ciderworks is a great add to the Decorah community. They have a great atmosphere with friendly owners and staff. Last we were there they had 4 amazing in-house ciders available. The Aronia was full flavored and the apple was crisp and refreshing. Would order both again. Blazing Star Eats was on location serving food for the soft opening of Convergence. Now that their in-house kitchen is running, they are kicking out great food like the Cider-poached apple and smoked trout Smørrebrød sandwiches (on optional gluten-free bread). Add the fact that they are using sustainable bamboo and palm wood utensils and plate ware, and this is now one of my new favorite places in town.

Love the ambiance of the building. They have a number of unique, fun, ciders and while their food menu is limited it is well done and delicious. Highly recommend a visit.

Always love stopping here. Some of the best craft ciders in the Midwest with care for local ingredients. The flavors are complex - this is real cider made like good wine, not overly sweetened like all too many places. The food is really tasty, love the Cuban sandwich. They also have cider cocktails and local beer.

Truly Great ciders. Light but very flavorful menu, with lots of local goodness and an awesome owner.

Cider slushies this summer were great, went back for the pork tacos twice in a week - amazingly good. Dog-friendly patio out back, short walk from Water St.
Taco truck on Tuesday nights, but the in-house tacos are my faves.

Also saw & enjoyed Convergence Cider over at Toppling Goliath Brewing and Luna Valley Farms (both of those are awesome yums).

Had the Chef Recommendation of Cuban Sandwich. It was awesome. We also did a Flight/Sampler of the various Ciders. Great way to get a sampling of the offerings. All were very delicious! Great Food, Great Cider. Totally enjoyed our experience.

Such a wonderful place, I can't say enough! Both the Drift Less and Aronia ciders were great! Neither were sweet. And they have several beer options from Pivo, Puplit and TG should you want to go that route. We had the Blazing Star bowl and are super excited to come back for Albatross and others. And of course we can't wait till you get the kitchen up and running. The location is great, too. After all, who really wants to drive to drink?! And Natalie and her partner were super gracious and welcoming. Fantastic!
