I visited PCB from North Carolina and tried them based on reviews.
Very fresh seafood. Place smells like seafood as expected so sit in car if you can not stand it.
Just park the car, buy the shrimp (very reasonable price) and ask them to steam in their spice. It feels so fresh and amazing as compared to any restaurants.
Ladies at store might sound rude but talk nicely and you will find they are so nice and humble. Generations in business for 60 years

This place is absolutely phenomenal! My husband and I are fairly novice when it comes to seafood and how to cook it. My husband called about 45min before they closed and said he was going to bring me in to get some seafood to celebrate our anniversary. The lady asked for my husbands phone # and sent him a picture of the menu. They were more then helpful on the phone so we decided to go on and try to make it there before they closed. We walked in about 5min before closing and the lady on the phone had told her other coworkers about how she spoke to my husband on the phone and how we were celebrating an anniversary. They helped us decide on what to get, making recommendations, and I had asked them about crab claws they went in back and searched and found some. We never felt rushed and they steamed us up food right there. It was a huge platter of food and the price was so reasonable! They were just the sweetest group of ladies that were so friendly, the food was amazing and the price was really unheard of! All of that on top of the fact it was after closing for the day. Thank you so much for making our 20th Anniversary so special and for this wonderful business. We will be customers for life!

This is PCB's best seafood place. The people are friendly and answered my questions so they could provide me with what I actually needed. Shout out to Mr.Thomas. I'm coming next time.

I absolutely love place. Freshest seafood hands down. Not to mention they are steaming now and just recently opened on Sundays. This place stays pretty busy, and at times can be hectic getting in and out...but soooo worth it. My steamed salmon was AMAZING!!!!!!

We’re visiting for spring break from Wisconsin and I stopped in this morning to Buddy Gandy’s and this place is excellent. The counter guy explained all the varieties of shrimp and seafood available to me as well as preparation methods. Before visiting I read some poor reviews so a bit skeptical but absolutely not true. He also offered samples of dips and they were also good so I bought one. Probably going back yet before spring break week is over.

I have been coming to Buddy Gandy's for my major seafood needs since I was 22 and I'm now 67. Though I live over in Callaway, I have no problem driving way over there to St.Andrews. That's because I haven't found a better place for seafood in Bay County. Their prices are fair and their customer service is very good. My only complain is I have to beat so many other shoppers to the bags of grouper throats. They sell out very quickly. Once, I tried for 3 weeks and every time I dropped by they were completely out. Well the Super Bowl was coming up so I got smarter. I decided to call ahead first and see if they had some. Thankfully, they had some but she told me that they were selling and she only had so many bags left. I then told my situation with the long drive and asked if I could just buy over the phone. She said sure, how much do you want. I gleefully told her we wanted all of the bags. She said all of them and I said yes...ALL of them. She weighed them and gave me the total. I already had my VISA ready. I drove there in a state of joy and relief just knowing we were going to have deep fried Group throats, french fries and a salad. The 49ers didn't win but our stomachs throwed down and hit the goal. I will add some pics later. Thanks for your service and for putting all those Grouper throats in my car's trunk for me. The fish and crab were fresh - also have snow crab/ king crab/ Dungeness crabs, octopus and more in the frozen section. The price was good and the staff were very helpful and nice. Also offers military discount. Will definately visit again..!

Amazing customer service!!! I called on the phone to find out if they had what I needed. The young lady that answered, was very informative gave me all of the information I needed, and also gave me directions! When I arrived, I was greeted, and they answered all of my questions And I was being a little extra I think but they accommodated me with no issues. I will most definitely be back.

We stopped by after reading all the reviews, I have to say the service was awesome

Went there today because of a recommendation from a fishing charter captain. The women working up front were very nice. The man in the back quickly cleaned the fish that we picked out and did a great job.

Great fresh seafood. Friendly staff. A bit pricy but the quality is worth it.

Was visiting from SC for spring break. Wanted live blue crabs. Found Gandy's seafood. Selection is great! Lots of variety of fish, fresh shrimp, live crawfish, and my favorite part, live blue crabs. They also steam the seafood for you. Friendly staff and service was good and quick. Crowded though so pack your patience! Will definitely be back as we come to PCB often.

My first time visiting. Pretty good selection of seafood and reasonable prices. Staff members are nice and friendly. I will definitely be a returning customer.

So helpful and informative. Brought 2 lbs of large gulf shrimp, seasoned and steamed back to condo. I’ve had a lot of shrimp in my restaurant career but this was hands down the best. Fresh!!!!! and steamed perfectly. Many seasonings to choose from and staff was a delight. An asset to this community. Last but not least reasonable! will be filling my craving for crab in the morning

This place is busy for a reason.

Went in today wanting fresh seafood to cook while on family vacation but not knowing what to get. Came out with crab legs as well as shrimp, grouper, and tuna steaks. Staff were wonderful and patient answering questions while we made our selection. Helped provide spices for our meal and shrimp steamed while we waited.

We will be back next time I am in PCB area. I'll be after some more of that slap you mama seasoning too.

As a local, my dad would take me here when I was little. It's always our go to for seafood 25 years old now and will be taking my own babies here for many years to come. Seafood is always great and employees always fast and friendly.

I just wrote another review just now on St Joe shrimp company,, the review was not so positive,, I realize folks on vacation at the beach need readily available fresh seafood however if you are in Panama City,, this is the place to buy fresh quality seafood.So far I have purchased, Tuna,, amazing, fresh and sushi grade, fresh crabs, perfect, Salmon Fillets, although farmed and not wild caught it was a 9/ 10 for quality and favor. Shrimp, all laid out on the ice for you to choose, no sub quality in view at all, some of the best shrimp I have had. Staff are friendly and helpful too,, that makes all the difference. Def my fish supplier on my long stay here.

All their food is fresh and flavorful, locally sourced when possible and in season. Every time I go all the employs are sweet and knowledgeable. Always answers all my questions and gives advice on how to cook. They now have a fresh steam on site as well. Never a disappointment!! 5 stars for years!!
