Outstanding company. We needed to add some pool equipment (heater/chiller). Russell from Pinch A Penny was the most outstanding guy! Quoted quickly and delivered as promised. Contractors that did the electrical work were great guys too. There was not one issue during the entire process. I used to go to another "chain" pool supply shop. They were never that friendly to begin with. They never acted like they wanted my business. These guys are my go to pool supplier from now on. thanks again Russell. Well done sir. Well done

These people are amazing. I just discovered the Camp Bowie (Fort Worth) store, and man am I impressed! Having become frustrated by a decline in knowledgeable staff and useful parts inventory at a nationwide pool supply chain store, I wandered into P-a-P the other day based on a lucky recommendation from a local pool company. I was immediately impressed by their large, clean and well-stocked showroom, and greeted warmly by two associates whose apparent youth belies their impressive knowledge of seemingly all aspects of pool equipment and products. The manager/co-owner, Kahlan, was equally friendly and impressive, and helped me schedule a prompt service call from her husband/co-owner, Chris, He immediately diagnosed my various problems and is just waiting on a part to fix the most pressing of those (at what strikes me as a reasonable price). This will be my first stop for any and all pool-related needs in the future, from water tests to chemicals to replacement parts to new equipment!

Chris went above and beyond his job, rebuilding my pool pump and fixing my light. Got me up and running before the holiday weekend. He's very knowledgeable in his trade. I highly recommend him for all your swimming pool needs.

Chris was super helpful walking me through how to change out a relay on the panel for my pool. They are always friendly, helpful, and my new go to place for my pool needs. I like supportive local businesses/owners and recommend you stop by next time you need pool supplies or service!

The couple that run this place are very knowledgeable and enjoyable to do business with. They took the time to try to help us figure out our water quality issues as well as answer the questions we had about our pump. They listened to our issues to help us solve the problem instead of just recommending we continue to dump expensive chemicals in it based on the chemical test alone which never easily resulted in algae free swimmable water working with some of their competitors. . We followed their advice and we easily have clear, sparkling water now! They also work on Dolphin pool cleaners which is great for us because we could not find another pool place that offered this service unless you bought the dolphin from them. They offer their own line of chemicals along with some brands sold at other suppliers at a good price. I have not tried them yet but I intend to. Go check them as soon as you get a chance. You won’t be disappointed!

These guys are fantastic! I love the store and appreciate the friendly service. They do a great job on keeping my pool clean for me and all the kids.

My pump recently went out so I reached out to Pinch-A-Penny. Chris came out to diagnose the issue and recommend solutions. He took the time to understand my current pool needs and future goals. I explained that I would like to eventually convert to a salt water system once I used up my current cache of sanitizer. We decided to replace my failed single speed pump with a variable speed pump and add a cyclonic pre-filter with a bypass for recharging the DE filter. The new hardware has reduced the amount of chlorine used as well as reduced the amount of algae that builds up around the stairs and ladder. I especially love being able to check the pump status and control the pump schedule from my phone. Check out the sad before picture and the awesome after picture.

Recently opened. The staff are very friendly.

I had my water tested there, and they said my chemicals were off by quite a bit. I then had my water tested at 2 other pool stores, and they said my pool water only needed minor adjustments.

The young lady who tested my water appeared to be new to testing pool water, so it may have been her being new to water testing that can account for the difference.

I will give them a try again before saying I wouldn't recommend them.
