Easy meal for 2-4 people!! Might have to double up on that slippery shrimp when it gets low half way!!

We went here for mother's day. Have to say this little mom n pops restaurant is great. The food was absolutely delicious. Service top notch. Complimentary tea. The food portion is amazing. Also there's a celebrity hall of fame . We spent over $100 well worth it. And we took an amazing amount home as well

Went on a Saturday evening and we were seated fast, also got our food pretty quickly. Our server was the sweetest person. I go for their Slippery Shrimp. It's Heaven.
Chicken Fried Rice and Moo shu pork

Conveniently located in Pasadena, parking is great compared to Chinatown. We usually order slippery chicken and salt and pepper porkchop. Although, it's our favorite, the taste and flavor has been inconsistent. Their service is also a hit or miss but is better than other Chinese restaurants around the area. Since Chinatown is always busy and driving there can be a hassle, we tend to visit this location often.

I love this place!! The slippery shrimps are to die for, the perfect mix of sweet and sour with a little spice kick....Everything is just so DELICIOUS!!

Yang Chow is a fantastic restaurant. Every meal that I’ve had here has been absolutely awesome. Don’t miss out on the slippery shrimp which is probably the best meal on the menu. First class service as well.

Authentic Chinese food. I also ordered food last minute for NYE and they were able to complete the order in time for my party. The staff is very friendly. And there are a lot of celebrity photos there so that also helps show how delicious this place is. Looking forward to going back.

Great food and quick service! You will go home with leftovers :) We got the slippery shrimp, egg drop soup, and green beans with minced chicken. Green beans with minced chicken were fresh and seasoned well. Large portion of everything especially the egg drop soup, and the slippery shrimp was everything we had heard about! Definitely would recommend

This is a nice Chinese restaurant in East Pasadena. The staff is friendly and the prices are fair. I got the beef chow mein entree for takeout and it was delicious. Can't wait to go back to try more dishes. Free parking in lot.

The spot..classic Chinese..slippery shrimp, orange chicken, string beans n white rice n you straight!!! 5/5 Def one of the best spots around..so glad they built one in Pasadena

First time eating at Yang Chows. Food is delicious and reasonably priced for the quality and amount of food served. Staff are nice and service was very good.

Mandarin cuisine will never be the same after eating here. All my favorite dishes were here but the absolute best I've ever had hands down. Must try this place with family or group of friends. Great service pretty atmosphere. We party of 8 spent round 200. Totally delicious and well worth every dime.

They have a parking structure in the back, so it’s perfect.

They also do pick up as well.

And they do offer tea!

Love this place. The slippery shrimp, Mu shu pork and crispy noodles were hot, tasty and served with fast kind service. We will definitely be back when back in to Pasadena.

This has been my favorite Chinese food place for years. The slippery shrimp is what everyone goes for here. I actually found out about this place from going to the LA location. The LA one is great but it was always full and parking was a challenge. The one in Pasadena is closer to me and the food is just as good.

Busy yet cleared and wiped down a table in the rush of dinner to seat us as quickly as possible. Food here is always tasty and plentiful. We always order for four people even though we are only a 2 person family so we can have even more left over. I have never had a bad meal here in the 20 years I have ordered.

Delicious food, especially on a Christmas eve!

The food was outstanding as usual and the server was wonderful. I enjoyed the slippery shrimp and the hot and spicy eggplant with pork. My companions enjoyed the dice chicken with cashews and a chicken and bean sprouts dish.

Our go-to place for California Chinese food. The food is good, and very consistent. Order the Slippery Shrimp, the Three Flavor Sizzling rice soup, the Sautéed Sting Beans, and the Pan fried noodles, you can't go wrong. The staff is amazing, especially Chuck. Always ask for Chuck!
