The Fish Spot

Great local beer joint that serves up awesome food. I had the stuffed chicken Sherry had the fish and shrimp basket. The menu is very straightforward they even have chili dogs on the menu. The staff are personable. The crowd is friendly and it's on the water.

Love love love this place! Definitely a hidden gem that I didn't know anything about.

If you are a first timer and going on an evening and want to sit outside, read this so you know how the place runs. This was the only part that was confusing for us.

Go up to the bar and ask for a menu, order your food with them. They will ask if you're sitting indoors or outdoors and will bring the food to you.

The food was delicious (try the Voodoo Fries) and the atmosphere was cool. Loved the music and the fun, friendly environment. It almost felt like I was at a friend's big birthday party in their backyard.

If you haven't been here, it's worth a try!

I posted a review earlier that was about an issue I had earlier in the day, I just wanted to say the owner made good on my issue. I come here at least twice a month and recommend the Fish Spot to all the guests that I see at work. The food is ALWAYS fantastic. the items I tagged are the ones I have had. The meatloaf special is the BEST! I highly recommend this out of the way great restaurant.

What a hidden jewel in Texas City, the Cheese Burger and Sweetpatato fries were fantastic! Staff absolutely the best and just a great comfortable place to be !

Great hole in the wall place, 9 people were at my table for lunch. Service was timely & friendly. Everyone enjoyed their food from the daily special to the fried shrimp, fish and oysters. Smothered pork chop was particularly good :) prices were very good portion sizes were large!

Passing through on our way to the dyke and we stopped here!!! The fish tacos were delicious!!! I can say I haven’t had any that good in years! Glad I found this spot! We will be back soon!!

This is a low key local spot. It's not for people looking for a fancy seafood meal but IT IS for down to earth people looking for super fresh seafood and other food. We highly recommend. It was busy and low staff but it was also a Saturday and the girl was bartending and waiting tables. She rocked it!

Great little hole in the wall. Very friendly staff and even at rush hour no long waits. Cold beer and fantastic food served by a great staff.

PSA: First off food was delicious, this is in regards to ordering online through Door dash store front that is not legit don't bother, call this place and place your order or better yet go in and dine in, very friendly staff.

Best seafood in Texas City. Cheap beer. The Chef also does off the menu specials which is the reason I went to check it out. Brisket was super juicy.

Great local spot for a burger and catfish. No online ordering is set up for this location. Must order in person. Outdoor seating is available.

Fun place to grab lunch or dinner. I love the club with tots. The staff is fun and friendly and the location by the water is a bonus. It is one of those hole in the wall places that you fall in love with.

Wow, was not sure what I was getting but it was a fantastic meal. Nice location on Moses Lake in Texas Cotu. I had the fried shrimp platter with the hush puppies and slaw. The shrimp were cooked to perfection with terrific hush puppies. The boudin hush puppie appetizer was the real deal too. Fun spot, it was too hot to be outside, but we will be back to sit outside when it cools off.

We drive from pasadena to texas city, just for these burgers. 1/3 lb. is PERFECT.
I hate 1/2 lb burgers. It's too much! Remember people, half your customers are girls! Love the onion rings. One of these days we will try something else on the menu. I bet it's just as great.

The quaint small bar and restaurant Outside seating was nice. The food was hot and tasty. Staff was friendly and attentive to our needs and wants. Great place.

Been to a lot of Good Seafood Restaurants. This one has Gret Food & Great Service!
