The Roost

Had a great time eating here. Sat in the bar area and the was place was really buzzing (it was a Friday). Whiskey is the restaurant's forte, but the bar has a wide variety. The server was fast, personable and very knowledgeable. I ordered the steak frites, cooked to perfection. The wife got a lamb gyro entree and devoured it all! Will have to come back to try their dessert. There's a rooftop too for the summer, definitely coming back.

What an incredible find. We have the beef tips with pasta and a cream sauce with some spinach mixed in. It was incredible, delicately balanced, also had the strawberry and blueberry blackberry salad, which was very tasty with some candied cashews on there as well. Wonderful place interesting environment. You must come check it out!

We went on a Thursday for lunch and were seated immediately (2 people). Our server was very friendly.
They had Vegan Tomato Basil Soup which I greatly appreciated. I'm lactose intolerant and it was a rare treat to have dairy-free tomato soup at a restaurant.
The (non-breaded) fried brussels sprouts with toasted almonds were very good.

Hands down, the BEST FRIES IN COLORADO... Seriously, you have to order a basket!

This quickly became one of my favorite places. Beautiful rooftop, friendly staff and plenty of gluten free options! Great location on Main Street in Longmont.

I got the Thai Pork Tacos, they were really good, but a Mess, any taco that spills out is well worth the money! The server didn't hear me say I wanted a MTN Dew so I didn't get a drink, they didn't carry that. The sauces are fantastic, make sure you order a side of Thai chili with them.

It know it’s a good salad when there are extras to add to the very last bite.

Never had a food or drink here that I didn’t like. Staff is always amazing. Thanks for the great food and drinks!

We chose this restaurant out of Google maps while we were on this side of town. I heard about it in the past and thought we would try it. The Roost did not disappoint! Everything was delicious!

AWESOME food, great service. The four of us ordered something different and each of us was completely satisfied. The short rib tacos were so good! The amount of food, this place doesn't hold back. We were all stuffed.

Visit this place, you won't regret it.

There was no one at the door when we arrived and had to wait a bit before someone decided to help us. After that, the service was good, but it seemed they were short that day.
The food was really good. I had the poke nachos appetizer as my entrée. It's was good but aware if you do not like spicy food. Everyone at our party was happy with their food. The Cuban sandwich is delicious..

Our experience at The Roost was wonderful! Everyone we interacted with was very polite and the service was amazing. Our food came out quickly and was delicious. I highly recommend getting the bangin' cauliflower as a starter. It has just the right amount of spice and flavor to really hit the spot!

Amazing patio, fantastic poke nachos, incredible short ribs, great experience. Our waitress was fantastic. We had the most memorable rainbow after deluge/hail storm. This was a great place to spend our 15th anniversary.

Friend recommended it, and he wasn't wrong. Got the steak special thus past Friday night (think it was a 6 oz filet with mushrooms and onions, side of rice and cucumber salad) very good!
Friend had the Bourbon burger I think. Was very good according to him.

Had the steak fries here with a friend and absolutely amazing! Good selection of craft beer and server was friendly and attentive.

They have an outdoor patio that is great in the summer. Full bar selection as well and nice decor all over.

Like I said meal was outstanding, highly recommend!

This was a cool vibe outdoors on the rooftop. Most of the drinks and food were all very good. My primary dislike was the Cuban sandwich I ordered - the gluten free bun is tricky to make tasty, but the ingredients did not pop the way I am used to, that was disappointing. BUT everything else was really tasty, from the apps to my friends dishes which I was lucky enough to get a decent helping of :) and the cheesecake for dessert was certainly a highlight and gluten free!

Loved the whiskey cocktails and everything I ate or saw looked/tasted amazing (I ate the ahi poke nachos, pictured). I sat in the alley patio with live music and had a lovely time.

Update: I've been here many more times and never missed. The rooftop is lovely and has a retractable cover for any rain. They also have a few nice non alcoholic cocktail options on the menu which I know people appreciate!

Absolutely loved the bangin Cauliflower shareable! I had the Chilean Salmon, which was so flavorful with citrus accents. My friend had the berry salad and loved the dark meat in her salad. We sat on the patio and it was a perfect day. The wait staff was on point as well.

Such a fantastic restaurant! We had Lee as our server and he was great. We had the Katsu Curry tots, the Kimchi Burger, and the Thai Pork Tacos. Everything was amazing. I highly recommend those tacos. They have a bar area, dining room, and rooftop patio. Lots of yummy options on their menu - it was difficult to choose. We can’t wait to come back!

Been wanting to try this place for awhile. Was fortunate enough to arrive before they got too busy amd was able to get a table on their rooftop patio. I had the Beef short-rib sandwich and their German chocolate cheesecake. Both were very tasty. Service was excellent as well. Overall a great experience eating here.

This place was fantastic and would definitely recommend. Great beer, wine, and bourbon selection as well as great food. Service was great and I will definitely need to come back.
