Qué Rico!

As a Texan used to enjoying authentic Mexican food and treats, I have to say I've found my favorite spot in Boulder. I'm thrilled to have a place where my wife and I can indulge in our favorite dishes. Ismael, the manager, is fantastic—he takes the time to explain the menu and even offers samples if you're unsure. He really makes the experience enjoyable. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for an authentic taste of Mexico!

Amazing authentic mexican restaurant at a reasonable price for Boulder! The food is great and the taco meats are amazing! Try all the sauces! Highly recommended to get the tacos lunch special, great deal for tacos and great tacos!

Love that we have an authentic Mexican place in boulder now!! Food is excellent and the service is really good! Eating here about once or twice a week since I work in the mall. A little pricey but worth it. Shoot if they served alcohol it would be 10 stars!

I’d been eyeing this place every time I used the EA charger in the lot and finally decided to pop in for lunch one day. The menu reminded me of a favorite place in Texas and fortunately, the food was just as good as my old fave. The gentleman who took my order was very friendly and prompt, and the food was delivered to my table within 5-10 mins. I got the quesabirria taco w/ consomme and a street taco, along with some chips and salsa. They have a small salsa bar with 4 kinds of salsa and I sampled all of them. Each was fantastic and fresh. Even the chips were good quality. This is now one of my new favorite spots in Boulder. All the food in the photos cost $10 including tax and tip. I’m not sure you’ll find a better deal in town.

All I can say is WOW, get here now because this place is the real deal! Absolutely phenomenal. Was so excited to see a new, authentic Mexican restaurant opening in Boulder and the food did not disappoint. We got the birriaquesas, tortas, elotes en vasa with Takis, and aguas frescas. The birria is insanely flavorful and melts in your mouth. Everything was absolutely delicious and the quality is really good and fresh! Portion sizes are really generous, I ordered two birriaquesas tacos and barely made it through them both but enjoyed every bite with the birria consommé. I really cannot express how much I enjoyed this first experience here and how warm the staff are. You can tell they are passionate about what they do and excited to share the food with people who have never tried it before. They even let us sample the aguasfrescas without even asking! I truly hope business for them in Boulder thrives because I will definitely be a regular customer and can’t wait to make my way through all of the treats, drinks, and meals on their menu. This location is special too, because they are the only one that offers a full food menu and not just treats and snacks. I am so impressed and thrilled to have a new go-to. Do not sleep on this family run GEM, Boulder, run don’t walk! Outstanding, ¡Qué Rico!

This place is awesome, I tried it for the first time and I will definitely be back. From the decor to the quality of the food. I really appreciated the hospitality, I went in to get food and got some samples from the friendly staff without even asking and I was blown away. The Birria is mouthwatering and I never liked birria before trying this place out. I had the el pastor torta and the strawberry horchata, both were delicious. I was told they make everything in-house from the waters to the cakes. I will say the only thing is its a bit pricey, I got a torta and a drink left a tip and came out to around $28 and some change but quality is there. Definitely check this place out you will not regret it.

Went for a quick snack and left completely stuffed!! Got the RUSA to drink and it was refreshing with a little spice! Also had the street tacos and quessabirria tacos!! They have lots of desserts as well but wasnt able to try due to being so full!

Amazing food and staff! They are all very excited about serving you excellent authentic Mexican food and treats. We stopped by after hiking several hours at the Chautauqua trails and ended up getting a variety of tasty food and treats. They also have several delicious house made refreshing drinks to choose from. We had the elote en vaso, 2 Street tacos, a quesobirria, the Que Rico plate, a concha rellena, and a coconut shaved ice with condensed milk. This was more food than 2 people would usually need but we wanted to try a lot of things and took some to go!

BOULDER PEOPLE! This is THE BEST bean, cheese and rice burrito and it’s not even on the menu (yet). That’s my test — can I have something so basic, delicious and filling and they delivered. Bonus all 3 salsas offered were delicious that I couldn’t decide which was my fav.

Woh, my new favorite spot for lunch! Authentic Mexican comfort food. My husband had the Que Rico plate with Birria and it was huge, flavorful, and came with corn tortillas so you can make tacos. The hot sauces they provide on the bar are legit. I had the Birria Ramen and it was also delish, the broth was rich and savory. Reminded me of the Sichuan Braised Beef Noodle Soup at Zoe Ma Ma if you are familiar with that place. Great addition to Boulder! Thanks for being here. We’ll be back on the weekly!

We love Que Rico!! So nice to have a fast casual delicious Mexican food here in Boulder! We have gone several times and will keep coming back!! The service is just amazing too… such sweet people!

Amazing staff, Amazing food and a great atmosphere. Everyone here was so helpful, they offered small samples since everything looks so good, it was hard to decide which drink to order. The facility can accommodate a fairly large group. The Que Rico plate will easily feed 2 people. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will be visiting again soon.

Let me just start off by saying I'm so excited Boulder has a new authentic Mexican spot in town. I've tried their waters as well as their birria and I was amazed from the flavor of the food to the friendly staff, to the esthetic. If you haven't already checked this place out, I highly recommend, they have a little bit of everything you will not be disappointed.

Very tasty! Elote is crunchy and crisp, creamy and perfect. The Horchata is very cinnamon forward but very great and refreshing. We also got Tosti Pastor which was delicious. Crispy pastor with the sweet pineapple and of course we had to get it spicy!

Tried to get a picture before my husband started digging in to the tacos😅. First time at Qué Rico! and it did not disappoint. We ordered multiple tacos, elote en vaso, horchata, mangoneada, and even ordered some fruit to take home. We were able to sample the augas frescas as well. Everything was great and we will definitely be back😊.

Good is pretty spot on. The elote is definitely worth trying. Lots of vegetarian options that is also delicious and not bland. And there is a mind blowing salsa bar. This place is getting my business for sure.

This place is legit. I have spent a decent amount of time eating my way through Mexico City so I'm happy to have access to all of these options in Boulder. I got the chicken torta and it was great. I will definitely be bringing people back. Super rico.

PS one thing I would love to see on the menu is cafe de olla!

Amazing food! So glad we found this place. You get plenty of food for the price. Tons to choose from of the menu. Customer service was great. I highly recommend trying this place out. Will be back.

The food is absolutely delicious! 😋 I had a super burrito with birria, and it was gigantic and so yummy. Paired with the cucumber lime agua fresca, and i was more than satisfied. The also have very flavorful salsas that you can help yourself to. The service was friendly and fast!
