The building looks a little rough but don't let that scare you away, it's part of the charm. You can order and eat in your car or they have picnic tables too.

Burgers were fresh and cooked well served on a soft but toasted bun. Good size serving of onion rings that weren't greasy. Thick, chocolaty malt. Prices similar to any other fast food but I don't feel gross after eating.

Service was quick and friendly. The place was busy so service with a smile was noticed.

Wow this place was really to die for. I had a double cheese with fries and it was amazing. Best burger and fries I’ve ever had and I seriously mean this. I will be taking my family back because the service and food were so great. 10/10 recommend and I would be more than willing to drive 30 min to come here.

I couldn't be more happy I tried Wagners. Mango shake, a hot sandwich, root beer float, some fries, and a burger. My husband said it's the best burger he's ever had, and he's had a lot. Anyone who's wants to go here and passes it up, ya'll are missing out! The owners are doing an amazing job at keep this place high quality. I will be returning!

I haven't been there for years, but it might be even better than I remember. The bacon cheeseburger was simple, but full of burgery flavor. Nicely seared, and a perfect buttery grilled bun. The fries are crinkle cut, and cooked just right, with a crunchy outside and tender inside. Great fast service with a smile! I'll be back much more often!

The menu features all the classics—juicy burgers, crispy fries, & very good ice cream. The food quality is top-notch! The service was fast and friendly, although the restaurant was busy.

The retro ambiance adds to the charm, making every visit a nostalgic treat!

The single greatest eating establishment of all time! Special shoutout to our amazing waitress Danielle. She goes above and beyond. Hard work, dedication, and a winning smile, she is THE standard for service. Food is top notch too! Overall I highly recommend this place. If someone were to ask me to take the president out for a nice meal, guess what? Here! That’s where I’d take them.

You ask me how was Wagner’s Drive In? We go there at least once a week so I can have a California Burger! Sometimes throw in an order of Onion Rings. The California burger is is the best in Minnesota, in my humble opinion. I just can’t get enough of them. I live in California and I can’t get a burger this good at home. The staff are super nice and friendly and the owners are the best. Oh, can’t forget that we always have a soft serve twist in a cup, no cone. Great soft serve. Can’t stop saying how much I love this place and it’s people.

We both had burgers. Very good. Worth the stop. Friendly timely service. Love family run business. A great drive in and order restaurant, like the old A&W drive ins.

We stopped in for a treat, yummy twist cones. Fast and friendly service. They are upgrading the lot, so it might be a challenge to get around.

This place is ONE OF A KIND! Not just because of the drive, not just because of the simple but authentic American food, not just because of the spectacular service that always comes with a smile and a friendly tone. But because all of these things combined is a rarity! You have to experience it for yourself. I also learned that the owner takes in troubled youth, gives them jobs, and mentors them. WOW! Wagner's is world class but only has one location (I think) what more could a customer, community, or anyone for that matter ask for. I wish I had more hands so I could give them 4 thumbs up!!!!! Eating here IS A MUST!

I visited Wagner’s Drive In a couple of weeks ago for the first time! It’s an old fashioned drive in where you push the button on the menu board on a post by your car so someone will come out and take your order! They have a pretty big menu with everything from hot beef sandwiches to patty melts to burgers, fries, onion rings and malts! I had a patty melt with fries and a coke! The patty melt was amazing and their fries are crinkle fries which happen to be my favorite kind of fries! We are in our car, but there is also limited indoor seating as well as picnic tables for when our Minnesota weather is nice! Definitely on my must go again list!

Stumbled on this place and so glad we did! OMG the fries itself were worth it!!!! Going to get family sized next time. I had a Ruben and wife had a bacon cheese burger. Definitely will be coming back to try other menu items.

Very fun and enjoyable old school drive in eatery. Burgers and fries are better than any fast food nearby, and it’s a wonderful local small business. 🙂

My Dad and I came here for the second time and it was amazing! The service was outstanding, everyone was so nice and kind. The food was amazing and we look forward to coming back. This is such a great place and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a good time. Thank you!!!

I’d never seen Wagner’s drive in before. It’s a little off the highway. I was on my way from Goodwill to go play Pickleball at Pickle in the Middle and Wagner’s was right there.

After Pickleball I was hungry, so it was time to try Wagner’s.

When I got there, it was the afternoon of a weekday, so it wasn’t very busy. We had great, friendly, fast service, so I can’t comment on when they are BUSY. But if there aren’t a ton of cars parked, I’m sure you’ll get your food fast.

The burger I had was really good. I liked it. I’ll likely try different burgers, and other stuff on the menu, in the future.

The onion rings were spectacular. Special. We got them hot, but they weren’t greasy. Dry. Wonderful. Somehow they get the onion to stay inside the ring instead of pulling out like nearly every other onion ring I’ve ever had.

I’ll be back just for the onion rings. They are that good.

The only “negative” is that there’s really nowhere to eat. You either eat in your car or take it to go. I think there might be one picnic table. IDK. But it’s a DRIVE IN. So you should be planning on eating in your car or leaving. This isn’t a surprise.

I really liked the food at Wagner’s and I’ll be back the next time I’m up there.

We decided to stop off at drive in on a whim after seeing pictures of the food on Facebook.

This was my first drive in experience and it was amazing. Our carhop was very friendly and brought out our food in a very timely matter.

We ordered the jalapeno burger, a patty melt and onion rings. The onion rings were the best I've ever eaten. Our food was piping hot. If i could rate more then 5 stars I would.

A total throwback to a simpler time, with fresh delicious burgers, crispy crinkle fries, cold delicious shakes, all from the comfort of your car! I've been meaning to get here for years and finally was able to and I couldn't be happier that I did! If you know about this place, nothing I've said has surprised you. If you don't know and haven't been here, get here as soon as you can!

Nice little historic drive in restaurant in Brooklyn Park along a historic highway. I just had one item and that was the double bacon cheeseburger and it was delicious! I even left the waitress a tip just because of the great service and great food.
I can imagine back and it’s younger years many people stopping here getting off old Highway 52 on their way north. Even back in the mid 1920s people drove by here on old State Highway 3.

Been here several times family owned most times you get 3 generations working at the same time and if you’re lucky enough a history lesson. Great burgers exceptional service . You pay a little more for quality and attention but in my opinion well worth it.
