Costa Grande Mexican Restaurant

This restaurant was such a nice surprise! Went in on a Monday for a birthday dinner..it was quiet in there and not sure why? It was great!!!! it was welcoming, clean, huge inside! the gentleman that greeted us at the door to seat us was funny and prompt. Table for 4, ordered 2 house margaritas, on the rocks no salt, very large and delicious, not too sour..had chips, salsa, queso all tasty! For dinner cheese quesadilla w/, rice..good, 2 chicken chimichangas with rice..Excellent..and grilled chicken with chorizo and tortillas..spicy and well cooked. I would highly recommend..I also listed there weekly specials..Def be back to try more dishes..thank for a nice time!

The food is fantastic here. The only issue I have is that there is no written notice on to the menu that there is a 3.84% charge for credit cards. There is a notice tape on the inside of the front door but you can’t read it since their are small yellow dots that make the writing unreadable. They should post it on each menu or perhaps put a notice in a plastic holder on each table.

The place has a good atmosphere, the server was very nice and prompt, the food was so only amazing. I got the costa fried burrito, chicken and beef with a few side items on the plate. The lunch special is 14 bucks and it was so much delicious food I'm tempted to make it a weekly ritual. The other plate was a fried chimichanaga that was loved by my sister.
6/5 stars if I could, 10/10 will come back. Wish I'd discovered this joint sooner.

This is our new go to!! My husband and I are from ga so we know good Mexican food. We came for his birthday today, and THIS IS GOOD food!! Super friendly service, really neat atmosphere, the server was so nice. I ordered arroz con pollo and it was my own fault that I didn't read that it comes with veggies, and I'm picky lol so I was picking them out and the server came and traded it out for a new one! It's seriously sooo good! Try them!! Even the salsa was good!

Finally some good quality Mexican food in Auburn! Service is always fast and friendly. I like to come here for their lunch menu and personally can’t recommend enough the Chipotle burrito/Costa Grande burrito. Displayed in the photos are the Costa Grande burrito and a Chimichanga from their lunch menu.

We ordered lunch online on a Friday early afternoon and the order was ready and waiting for us when we arrived less than 20 minutes later. The fried chimichanga with beef came with rice refried beans, shredded lettuce and sour cream. A very generously sized bag of chips and a pottle of salsa rounded out the food, and plastic utensils and a napkin were also in the bag.

We enjoyed the spices of the chimichanga, and it was well filled with non-greasy ground beef. Not hot pepper hot, but you can always add that later... 😁.

I look forward to trying other things on the menu - I hope they stay in business for a long time!

Absolutely wonderful experience. Service was expeditious and friendly. The wife and I each had the Costa Grande Burrito, which is essentially a sample of most of the menu in one dish. Every single bite was *chef's kiss*. Highly recommended.

Best Mexican restaurant in the area. Pollo con mole was the best I’ve had in a long time. Carnitas was better than any I’ve had in the area. Portions were better than most places and prices weren’t bad. Don’t believe the bad reviews this place is excellent. I was seated fast served hot chips and salsa within 2 minutes and after I ordered my food was out faster than any Mexican restaurant in the area. I highly recommend.

This is my new go to Mexican restaurant! Everything is AMAZING!! Portions are huge, the amount of meat they use is triple the amount surrounding places use!! Hands down the BEST!! Their steak and cheese, oh my goodness don't overlook this place when craving a good steak and cheese!!

The food is more than five stars to me! The customer is awesome. The owner made me feel at home. We had a great conversation while waited for my to go order. Their is better than some of my favorite Mexican restaurants at home in Fayetteville, NC. Thank you Costa Grande for great food and great customer service.

I've been there 3 times now since they opened. All three times the food was delicious. The service was excellent.

I've been in NY almost 4 years now, and after trying LOTS of Mexican restaurants throughout the state, this one has been my absolute favorite. My Texan heart was so happy, will be going back soon!

Tasty and affordable!! Overall good experience and good was very reasonably priced and tasted great. They did forget my friends tortillas with his carne asada even after they came and asked him if he wanted corn or flour. Wasn’t a huge deal.
Nice to have a place like this in Auburn.

This place is absolutely wonderful!! If you want somewhere to get good Mexican food that is quick, delicious and consistent- this is the place! Me and my boyfriend have come every week since they opened and we have never been disappointed. The food is delicious and affordable, and the service has always been amazing. Definitely give it a try!

Great prices, amazing food and wonderful employees. The only complaint I had was the TVs were turned to the news (Fox).
