The food here was amazing! The menu is small but the quality of the food was so good! The staff here were super friendly and sweet! We had to wait awhile to get our food but it was totally worth the wait!

This cafe is perfection! We stopped by while visiting from out of state and were served the best breakfast we have ever had! Biscuits and gravy haystacks were delicious. The French toast was outstanding and the cinnamon rolls are out of this world! Restaurant is clean and beautiful. The service was so warm and inviting. We will definitely stop by again when we are in the area. Phenomenal job to the owners and employees!

Had breakfast while in the area for holiday world. My youngest ordered cinnamon roll and it was huge and delicious. Rest of us had platters and it was very fresh and the biscuits were great! Very reasonable in price. Very clean. If ever in the area again will definitely repeat!

This is one of my favorite, locally-owned spots in Dubois County, and it’s definitely my favorite food spot in Ferdinand! I haven’t visited for lunch yet (they added lunch in May 2024), but the breakfast is great. It’s reasonably priced, delicious, home-cooked breakfast food. The service is quick too, which is great as well. My daughter and I like to come in and bring a game or activity to do while we’re waiting for food, but we usually don’t end up with a ton of time for our activity before the food gets there (Definitely a bonus when you’re out to eat with a hungry, impatient kiddo).

The service is what sets Cascade Cafe apart from other restaurants in my opinion. Every time I visit, I’ve seen the owner making his rounds to all of the patrons to greet them and to have a chat. These folks are some of the kindest and friendliest individuals I’ve ever met. Rob, Angie, Anna, and Elizabeth are always there to greet you with a smile and a sincere appreciation for your visit. This is a family-run business, and all four family members (The Wilson’s) are always working their tails off when I’ve come in to eat. They employ a handful of other staff that I can’t give a shout-out to by name, but they’re all so wonderful as well. If you’re in need of a good meal and some genuine human connection, Cascade Cafe is the place to go.

I ordered a club croissant that was served with chips and a side of grapes. Food was excellent, as always. Service is always great here with friendly service. Family, that's how the Wilson family makes you feel when you walk in the door of there business. Love it.

We usually have oatmeal, which comes with brown sugar and raisins and is great! I live their strawberries, which are lightly sweetened and really let the flavor of the berries shine. Their cinnamon rolls are absolutely wonderful! We are treated as valued guests by everyone. It's a bit of a drive for me, but well worth it!

If you are within drivable distance at all you better come to Cascade! Extremely fair prices, great food, and unmatchable service! Can’t find service at any other restaurant on the planet that I’ve been to. My wife and I did a little honeymoon after getting married and found this place and it was a true blessing.

This has become of my new favourite locally owned restaurants I’ve been to. Really good value, some of the friendliest staff I’ve encountered at a restaurant, and the food is great. The cinnamon rolls are a must. Definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area or if you’re on your way to Holiday World.

Perfect! My wife and I were traveling through to the Carolina’s and we visited this wonderful establishment with a friend of ours. The building is brand new, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, the quality of the food as well as the extraordinarily level of service by the owner, Rob, his lovely daughters, and the entire staff was absolutely “perfect!” I would eat here for breakfast 3 times a week if I didn’t live in Illinois.

We will see you again! Thank you for a wonderful breakfast experience yesterday.

We were in town for the solar eclipse and were so glad we stopped here. We missed breakfast hours, but the croissant sandwiches were delicious and the croissants super fresh. And the cinnamon rolls! Made fresh by the owners, the best I've ever had. Staff very kind, friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend Cascade Café.

Love this place! Their breakfast food is great, and the service is even better. They just started serving lunch for part of the week, so I'll be going back soon to try that!

If you drink coffee, definitely try their iced vanilla coffee! So good.

Great restaurant. We felt like we were in the restaurant version of a Chick-fil-A. Great service, high quality food, and super clean throughout. Highly recommend the cinnamon roll. They also serve gluten-free oatmeal that is outstanding. We will stop here every time we are in the area.

Not sure what to highlight first, the people or the food! Food was a solid 9.2/10, but the people blew the scales out of the water! We were welcomed as soon as we came in, and you could tell the owner was humble and grateful to have us. Then as soon as we were seared, miss Jamie came and interacted with the entire family. Our kids are typically bashful but she made them laugh and they got comfortable enough where they started telling stories. It'd only be better if we could have kidnapped her to spend the day at Holiday World with us, she was an absolute joy.

Back to the food! They claim to be famous for biscuits and gravy and their homemade cinnamon rolls. I took that as a personal challenge and, goodness, they did not disappoint! The biscuits and gravy are only 2nd to a family recipe. The cinnamon roll was phenomenal, to the point my kids stole the last half from me. Outside of those two specialties, the bacon was very crispy, including the fat, but not burnt (as a parent we really appreciate for potential choking issues). The sausage patties and hash browns were also top notch. The 'low' point was toast, but come on, it's toast...what can one say about that?

We will 100% be returning each year for our annual Holiday World trip. We are thankful they welcomed us and treated us truly like family.

Cute restaurant in Cascade Cafe with Rob, the owner. We ordered a simple breakfast, eggs, biscuit, hasbrowns, bacon, and a cinamon roll on the side and a half order of biscuits and gravy. Homemade biscuits and sausage gravy were very good, not too thin, and not too heavy. Eggs and hasbrowns had distinct flavors but very tasty each on its own. Bacon was thick, I would like a little more bend but wasn't too crispy. But the cinamon roll was yummy, bursting with cinamon and glazed to perfection. A great place to try out, friendly owner and staff.

Cascade Cafe feels like being at home in the country. Pastel mint green colored walls with farm artwork give a refreshing sense to me while I dine. I learned to make biscuits and gravy from a southern expert from Kentucky, my Uncle Charles. Anna and Elizabeth prepare the best biscuits and gravy ever, as good as my Uncle Charles. Angie is a whiz at making French toast that really is good "as is." The aroma is powerfully enticing you to consume it. She also knows how to take an order of bacon and blend it into my scrambled eggs just like my Grandma used to do.
We go on a weekly breakfast date here and enjoy the sunshine beaming from the faces of the Wilson's and their staff. I can't forget Rob. He is from North Carolina, where you can find Biscuitville and Bojangles. Cascade cafe outdoes the biscuits I have had in many southern states. Why not go pull up a chair, have a cup of coffee and bathe in the joy.

Ferdinand Indiana has a new tourist spot, a very unique down home restaurant, with a wonderful staff, great food and a warm family atmosphere. Very unique architecture with doorways that must be 15 ft high, a must see place with a uniqueness you will not find anywhere else. When you come to Ferdinand you won’t want to miss this new tourist destination.

I was visiting a friend who lives in St Meinrad, and he invited me to breakfast at the Cascade. Great food, service, and atmosphere. I wish I could have brought the restaurant and staff home to Colorado Springs.
