El Mezcal Mexican Restaurant

Always very friendly and very fast. The food is delicious always. Also , I must say, the portions they give allow me to eat twice at least. I highly recommend eating here as it is one of the best places around. Sad it would only let me give El Mezcal a 5 star review honestly. 7 out of 5 stars is my actual review. It's my personal favorite place in Farragut.

This is a cozy hole In the wall. The atmosphere was wonderful everyone was laughing and having a great time. The food was delicious I ordered the shrimp fajita nachos. It was cooked perfectly and the flavor was amazing. My party was large and the waitress handled it with ease even changing part of my friends order to remove the onion. Our group definitely will come back to enjoy this place in the future!!!!!

What a great first experience! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with friendly smiles and lively energy. The service was so polite, attentive, and super fast! We got our food barely five minutes after ordering, and it was delicious! Overall, we had an awesome lunch experience, and we definitely plan on returning in the future.

This is a very good Mexican restaurant in Knoxville in Turkey Creek. I had the cheese enchiladas and very pleased with the cheese taste, thickness, consistency, and smell. I was at another restaurant in Chattanooga and the cheese was horrible with to thick hard taste that almost chocks you. So I was very pleased to find this place while traveling. The drinks are great too but the best part is the food is reasonably priced compared to other restaurants. So, over all great price, food, driniks, and fast friendly service here. Give them a try you won't be disappointed.

Great food. Great service. Friendly. Efficient. Good margaritas. Chips and salsa within 30 seconds of sitting down, margaritas with 2 minutes of ordering and food within 5 minutes of ordering. This place is fast.

I loved this restaurant. Went for lunch with a friend. It wasn’t packed, had a great menu, and the food was good. Guac was okay - not a lot of flavor though.

I've only gone here once, but my experience was great! Servers were nice and accommodating, and the food was exceptional. Would definitely recommend if you're on that side of Knoxville

Had a terrific meal at this little family hole in the wall. the cheese was great the chips were great everything was pretty reasonable for pricing and the service was fantastic. I've lived in Farragut a long time and never gone to this restaurant. What a mistake that was! I'll definitely be taking my family back here.

One of my favorite Mexican Resteraunts. Food is always good, and portions are large for the price. Great place for a tall cerveza and a nachos fajitas after a hard day of work.

We just moved to Knoxville and this is our favorite Mexican place so far. Reminds us of our favorite we had in Asheville, which we found after trying them all! Arroz Con Pollo is on point. The chicken is grilled to perfection. Really decent margaritas as well. This is not a fancy place but we love the local quirky atmosphere. We've had excellent service both times we went. Super friendly staff and very clean. Highly recommend!

We relocated to the Knoxville area almost 5 years ago from Phoenix, Arizona--we had no idea how many terrible meals and how long it would take to find really excellent Mexican food.

Yay! We've done it! El Mezcal is not only the best Mexican around, they have dishes from various regions in Mexico and some "Southern friendly" dishes (drenched in runny white cheese sauce) so we can eat her and invite our neighbors to learn to eat really great Mexican food by degrees! Chips and salsa are terrific. I am working my way thru the menu...soup, rice and beans, tacos, fajitas, chicken dishes, enchiladas and tamales all tasty!

The folks who work at this Kingston Pike location are top notch in speed, friendliness and keeping you topped off and the tables clean.

Our church friends have a standing Sunday afternoon lunch here so leave us tables on Sunday afternoon and I won't regret sharing!
