Food City

Food City is our go-to neighborhood grocery store. They have everything we need for our weekly shopping trip, and they are conveniently located throughout East Tennessee. They employ a large amount of teenagers, and are hugely supportive of the Boy Scouts and other local organizations. One other added benefit is that they send my kids cards on their birthdays for free treats, which we always look forward to!

This location is always decorated very nicely and it is obvious that someone cares a great deal that the shoppers and workers all have a positive experience inside the store. I am very grateful for this store location, since there aren’t any other grocers near Hardin Valley.

Love the Hardin Valley store. Everyone is so kind and friendly and helpful. The store is so clean and the electric scooter shopping carts are always fully charged which is very important to me. And the girls in the pharmacy are so special. ❤

Great place to shop. I wish they sold the marinade thru put on some of the steaks it is my favorite. But idk what it is! And if they don't have an steaks with it on them then you are out of luck!

Clean. Friendly staff. Bathrooms stocked, clean, and in good condition. I was able to find exactly what I needed. Good store brand options. I did not have a card but the cashier was able to scan one for me so I could still get the discount. Was able to get in and out pretty quickly.

Clean, great location, plenty of parking. Employees are polite and friendly. Customer service is great. Bathrooms always well maintain. Shelves are well stocked and always great prices for you deals. Can handle large crowds. Full gas pumps offered too. Wheelchair accessible

Considering I have slight PTSD where Food City is concerned (not because of this location), it's a big deal that I even visited the store. The fact that my visit went off without a hitch spoke volumes. Since I will never visit another certain location ever again - and this one is right on my way home from work, this will likely become my regular store to shop at!

5 star store! Heather, Amelia and others in deli are always so courteous and professional. Recent event where my car wouldn't start when I came out, and manager helped me get battery boosted so I wasn't stranded in parking lot. Thank-you so much to manager and all staff!!

They have THE BEST go cart service anywhere! You get a personal shopper who will text you pictures of options if they are out of a product or you have a special request. They will honor the price of the lower item. Such friendly service. If your order is ready sooner, they can let you know. Plus freebies after you spend a certain amount and always some complimentary cookies! Love it!

Super clean, huge wine selection, great prices. Every worker always has a smile in my experience. Be warned if you're going in the early morning it is right next to Hardin valley elementary, so traffic is a bit of a Grinch while they drop off/pick up

Great store and great employees.

I was buying a gift card here, and their system had some trouble. So I had to wait a minute so they could ring me up again. Their front end manager was nice and made the time go by quicker. He was also kind to the employee that I was working with originally.

Margaret in the bakery is an absolute joy to work with! Over the years she has made and customized many items for us and most recently a “cookie cake”. She’s amazing!

This is a convenient location that actually has live humans at the registers after 8:00 p.m..

Otherwise, small carts are rarely available and the restroom which requires employees to wash their hands is out of paper towels.

This store has friendly employees. It is bright and clean and has product choices. They have many Valentine gifts and treats and ideas to share. I highly recommend this store as a new favorite grocery, lunch buffet and special holiday store.

I drive a local delivery truck. Food City is close to my numerous destinations. The one in Hardin Valley has excellent baked chicken, okra, and baby carrots. The staff is great due to the service they provide.
