A chocoholics paradise! Busy at weekends but quiet during the week. I spent more than planned on fudge as it’s so delicious!

I highly recommend the Maple & Pecan fudge, the Dark Chocolate Salted Caramel fudge and the German style with Coconut. Also where else can you find a Chocolate Dino on a Scooter filled with peanut butter?! (See my photos)

Be prepared to wait because it’s worth it! There’s usually a line out the door but for good reasons. This is the best spot to get ice cream in Downtown Wilmington. My favorite is the cappuccino chocolate chip and their homemade waffle cone can’t be beat! But all the flavors are a hit. The line will take you through where they have fudge so if you’re in the mood definitely get some andddddd the poocorn too! I was so glad we bought some to snack on later on the road.

Everyone working there today was incredibly friendly; despite appearing very busy, my family was greeted quickly and with a smile. I came in with the intention of getting our three children some ice cream, but my three-year-old was so excited to see the dessert treats we had to get some of those as well. My ten-year-old opted for the cookies and cream fudge (delicious) and I decided on the double chocolate salted caramel fudge (holy cow do not miss the opportunity to try this). Their homemade ice cream and waffle cones were equally delicious; you'll be impressed no matter which counter you go to. This is a fantastic after-dinner stop, especially if you have kids. The quality is great and the price is very fair considering how great everything was, including the service. Kilwins made Wilmington "the best holiday ever" according to my youngest daughter.

The ice cream here is absolutely delicious! 😋The peach flavor is amazing, and so is the chocolate. It's not overly sweet, which we really appreciate. We're extremely satisfied!

The smell from the streets is what reels you in. The ice cream with freshly made waffle cones is fantastic. They also got fudge and dipped apples which are worth checking out. Very friendly staff. The line may look long sometimes but it’s pretty efficient and fast paced so don’t worry about it too much.

The ice cream and fudge were great and the buildings very pretty. I’ve always loved the downtown area and Kilwins is one of the reasons why. There are many cute shops nearby that you can browse while eating your sweets. The staff is always friendly and it’s a great place for the kids because you can see them working.

They have so many delicious ice cream flavors here that it gets difficult to choose from. Such a cool, little dessert shop right on the Wilmington riverwalk. You can either select a waffle cone, or a basic cone, or even a cup. They let you sample as well before you choose to buy.

Great experience. Line was out the door but moved quickly. One note. A bit of false advertising in a good way. The single is double and the double is a quadruple. A little confusing but know that when you order. I will be back.

I’m leaving this review on behalf of my mother. She had the BEST experience with one of the workers. A young gentleman who works here overheard my mom telling my dad she wasn’t going to get anything because of her nut allergy (cross contamination). The young man told her to pick flavor, opened a brand new tub of ice cream, cleaned everything, just so my mom could enjoy a scoop of ice cream. It brought her to tears and made her day. She doesn’t get to enjoy a lot of desserts because of her allergy. He did not have to go above and beyond, but he did. I know it may not seem like a big deal, but I don’t think anyone has ever done this before for her just so she can enjoy ice cream. We only wish we got his name. Please tell the young man that he made my mom’s day and thank you. Keep up the kindness, it does make a difference.

The ice cream and fudge are amazing! We had the Kilwins Mud fudge, so creamy and delicious. I’m sad that I didn’t buy more. I also had the Traverse City Cherry ice cream, also delicious. The line was out the door the night we were there and we know why.

It was insanely busy because it's the 4th. Despite this, the employees were so nice and so very patient. Not once did we feel rushed. They made great suggestions, offered a free taste of ice-cream when I was unsure of a flavor, and they all had positive, friendly attitudes. I've been here before so I already knew the ice-cream is phenomenal. And it was, yet again.

I absolutely adore coming to this place. It gives me what I crave the most. I love chocolate and I love warm waffle cones. The ice cream and fudge are really good too. I really suggest the salted caramel fudge. And I also love their super rich chocolatey fudge also

So many choices hard to choose. But, my all time favorite is a single scoop of salted caramel, with chocolate on the bottom in a homemade cone!! It's a must in a cone!! Yummy!!! You can also choose so many different kinds of fudge made in house, and candy. I've bought caramel apples there a couple times!! Soo good!!

We wandered in and were quickly greeted and offered a sample of fudge. I left my husband enjoying the fudge as I’m an ice cream fan. I tried three kinds and chose the creamy chocolate peanut butter. It was fantastic and filled with large slivers of peanut butter. We ordered single scoops in waffle cones and the scoops were so generous even my ever hungry son-in-law was satisfied. They had so many offerings for my sweet tooth I can’t wait to go back!

Great sweet shop with fresh waffle cones and good ice cream. Lots of fudge and chocolates to choose from! Such a cute little shop!

So so so delicious!!! Chocolate, ice cream, fudge Oh My!!! You smell the waffle cones walking on the street. Get ready to wait in line because everyone loves this place. Amazing!

Candy, fudge, and ice cream. I got two varieties of fudge and a waffle cone. Everything was simply amazing. The place was very busy, but the wait was minimal.

The aroma pulled us in! It was intoxicating. Staff is delightful. Couldn’t resist getting some lemon sorbetto even though it was only 10am. So glad we wandered in!

Each yeah we visit this Kilwin's and then head over to the boardwalk to eat our ice cream. The staff is always pleasant and the quality of ice cream is fantastic. We have tried the fudge as well, it is rich and just right. There is the evening wait, but always worth it.

Wonderful flavor options. I had the chocolate toasted coconut. Delicious. My sister enjoyed something with chocolate and caramel bits. She loved!
