I love the food from this place. Absolutely delicious, my favorite Chinese food in the Providence area. I get the beef teriyaki sticks and boneless spare ribs combo. Both are the best I’ve had in the area. Pork fried rice is very good also. And they make their own duck sauce, and that’s tasty also. Really great all around. Typically very good service, we had a pretty late delivery once, but these things can happen to anyone.

All the dim sum were tastes good, and it has a reasonable price. Will go here again!

Best Chinese food around. I love the retro feel inside the restaurant, but this isn't fake retro. This is the real deal. Big portions, extremely reasonable prices. I feel like I stepped back in time and inflation stopped at the door.
We've kept to the classic dishes, and they don't skimp on ingredients. Very very good food here.

Tried King's Garden Restaurant on the advice of a few friends. I am really happy that I did. I had a hot and sour soup while waiting for takeout. Similar to the Boston Polynesian style with the addition of a hint of tomato and it had some sliced peppers and Chinese greens along with the regulars that you would find like tofu, mushrooms etc. It came with Chow Mein noodles and had a nice spicy finish. Their house chicken wings had a delicious, sticky, finger licking yumminess of a sauce with hints of garlic, five spice, and just the right sweetness to balance them out. They were phenomenal! The beef teriyaki was tender, perfectly marinated, and cooked perfectly. Egg rolls were fried right with a nice crisp. The filling was old school with a nice mixture with the flavoring of celery and pork that a lot of us chase. Spareribs were tender, had a nice flavoring throughout, and kept that tenderness when reheated. The shrimp with lobster sauce was delicious. There were plenty of shrimp that were cooked right. Nice complex flavors that leave you wanting more. Overall, I highly recommend it!

The food is fabulous. The Dim Sum is worth the drive! The waiter even helped me to order my old favorites! Food doesn't feel or taste greesy. It's served hot and fresh. The atmosphere is welcoming although the decor is dark and dated. The food is simply the best!

I may be a little biased when it comes to this place,as I have grown up in the neighborhood, still live here, and kings garden was my first job at 15 years old. I could probably still operate the dishwasher lol. They have been putting down great food for over 20 years. The place still looks the same. The food never disappoints. The take out is just as good as the dine in. If your in the area, come here and eat , you won’t be disappointed.. take it from the 1995 dishwasher .

Our favorite in Rhode Island. Great quality food and the service is friendly, genuine, and sincerely attentive. 2024 4 years later, is still great!

My friend Sarah brought me to Kings Garden Restaurant on June 1st, 2024. She said it was the best in the area and she was correct. I had the best orange chicken I have ever tasted 😋 We also had delicious spare ribs. More food than we could eat so the extra went home with us. I am from the Philadelphia area or else I would be coming here on a regular basis. Thanks to everyone at Kings Garden Restaurant that made this such a wonderful experience. Paul S. Heimers

Been here many times and love it every time! Food was top notch! Best yellow noodle with roasted pork I could find in RI. Dimsum is also great and they offer quite a variety! Congee is like mom's cooking and the preserved eggs complete it beautifully. Highly recommended!

Best Chinese food in Cranston. I always get the orange chicken combo plate with veggie fried rice. Consistently good and I’ve been coming for over 10 years.

My family has been coming here for at least 35 years. Some of my first memories are of getting Chinese food from kings garden when I was a kid.

The restaurant changed hands several years back, however the new owners knew not to mess with a good thing.

Their traditional dishes are fantastic, however their American-Chinese is top-tier.

Beef with Pan Fried noodles is a tradition for us. You will not be disappointed.

We've all been there...that insane craving for Chinese food where you're willing to wake up in the middle of the night and fight through a nigh endless horde of zombies to satiate that craving. This is that one Chinese food restaurant that you find and never let go, where you keep that menu tucked away for special occasions, and slap it down like a trap card in Yu-Gi-Oh to impress your first date.

I came right when they opened so my review is a little biased as the dimsum was ridiculously fresh. Pretty sure I was first customer of the day. Everything was clean and it's not overly dark or dim.

Their bbq pork and beef wrapped in rice noodles is really good. My bf loved the Shanghai dumplings and said they were really flavorful. Har gow (shrimp dumplings) had good texture, the skins weren't super thick which I like and they didn't fall apart. They give you ample amounts of tea, we got a really large pot for the table. Overall service was really quick and I enjoyed everything.

Now that Silver Crystal has closed, this is to my knowledge the only place for Dim Sum in little Rhody. The food is authentic and delicious. If you were a customer at the aforementioned SC, this menu is almost identical, down to the names of dishes. Several years ago, i believe they changed ownership, and I was happy to see them keep the food unchanged. Service for me has always been prompt and attentive. Some of my favorites are the dry beef chow fun, yang chow fried rice, baby bok choy with garlic, and beef brisket wonton noodle soup.

My sisters go here every Christmas for dim sum breakfast. The food is fresh tasty with many options. I always leave overly full because the food is too irresistable to leave behind. Great choice of teas as well

I just want to say that this establishment if very professional and accountable. Chinese food is my favourite food, however I am an extremely picky eater when it comes to Chinese food. With that said I found my meal enjoyable, however the first time I had take away from here I had a minor incident that lead me to call the place up. So polite and professional, quick to rectify my situation. They ended up giving me a free meal and it was ready for pick up the moment I walked through the door. Very happy with my service here, the staff and the food. I would recommend Kings Garden to a friend because I know they'll be taken care of there.

Been coming here for most of my life and always thought that the food was excellent. However in the past year or two it has somehow improved. I think they came under new owners or something, but basically all the ingredients seem fresher, the cuts of meat are better, and everything is more flavorful. What’s impressive is that they managed to do this without sacrificing the identity of any of their dishes, so it still tastes like what I expect and remember from the last 10 years of eating here, just better. On top of that they price everything very fairly and portions are always HUGE which is a big factor for me when ordering Chinese takeout. They have a pretty good sit down atmosphere and service as well, place and is always clean and food comes out fast. Definitely the best Chinese food I’ve had in Rhode Island and price is unbeatable.
