Hometown Pharmacy

Even when I fail as a patron and patient, these folks make sure I am taken care of. Recently, I did not follow up with my Dr. On the prescription I have and making sure they sent the refill in. I called after 5 to check on the refill I thought my Dr sent in. Dr. did not send it in. Hometown, was able to provide enough medication based on my history with them, to get me by until my Dr. could call in the refill. These folks care and they understand real life situations do arise. I'm so glad I switched from Walmart for these folks.

I have used Hometown Pharmacy twice this year, coming from out of state to visit family. I was worried that it would be difficult to have my prescriptions transferred and get my usual insurance coverage. I was pleasantly surprised that it was as easy as having my doctor’s office call in my prescriptions and giving the pharmacy my insurance information. I have called in to request refills and also used the automated menu, both times getting fast, accurate refills. The staff are friendly and the copay prices are very close to what I usually pay at a larger chain store.

My whole family uses this pharmacy. Everyone here is friendly, plus they deliver. What more could you ask for from a pharmacy? They have also ordered items, (like crutches, a portable toilet & wrist braces) if they didn't have them in store.. The only thing (as with all pharmacies) is the hours should be 24 hours. There is no pharmacy within 30 miles that is 24 hours & that sucks...especially when you find yourself in an emergency situation and land in an er & have medication that needs to be filled right away. Otherwise, this is a great place with very friendly people. My family and I highly recommend!

I have nothing but positive comments to make. I have gone there since they opened. At times staff has gone above and beyond to help me which I appreciate. As others have mentioned they are always willing to order something I need to be delivered the next day. May pay a tad more but to me the convenience and great staff are well worth it! As my health continues to decline I happy very grateful they are here in Mayville. Thanks to all of them.

Friendly staff, reasonably priced, and are willing to order in and have anything you need within a day if they don't already have it.

They wouldn't fill my perception because they wouldn't make any money on it. Cute but expensive things in the store.

The pharmacist is super nice, but other than that this place isn't that great. I have had more than a handful of times had a prescription not be in stock and only given a partial. For something that I need that day and not be able to give it to me I feel is messed up. I feel they need to keep more medication on hand, or inventory better as this happens too often. Yet, if I take a partial then need more the next day, I am unable to have them transfer it to a different pharmacy that has it on hand. I have called in refills and yet they don't get refilled until I go to pick it up and have to wait 30min. Really considering switching pharmacies due to low inventory happening way too often.
