Wally's Restaurant

My original intent was to eat breakfast but missed it as it stops at 11:20a.m. They serve only breakfast Saturdays. I decided to choose a vegetable plate this time. Sweet potato fries, Mac and cheese, okra, and pinto beans with onion and cornbread was all delicious and filling. If you like Southern food that tastes like dad and moms cooking, then Wally's on McCallie, is the place to go. Highly recommend! Family owned for 85 years!

Very friendly service. The food was good but the biscuits were amazing. Nice and clean diner. If I lived in the area I would be a frequent customer.

Vegetable were wonderful! The salmon patties tasted a little more like white fish than salmon. But still tasty! Would definitely recommend the Veggie and maybe a different meat! $12 for meat and 3 with this portion my mom and I could have split it if she was with me!

Excellent service! As soon as I walked in the door I felt like family and not a customer. Nice size portions, a great variety of meals to choose from, and it tastes delicious.

The grilled Chicken Livers with onions is the best I've ever had. Thanks to my wonderful waitress Reana at the East Ridge location, I now am a huge fan of Wally's. It was a fun experience; a huge dinner (great value for the money!); and an absolutely delicious dinner (and breakfast and lunch tomorrow.) Btw, Charles and Beverly deserve kudos for the terrific work they do preparing the food.

After I had a really negative experience at the McCallie location for lunch (they neglected to post changed hours and service), East Ridge reached out to me. I'm so thankful they did.

Wish there were more places like this. It's a Chattanooga original.
Good experience every time I've been. Bacon omelette was great. So was the oatmeal and hash browns.

What can I say? Wally’s is always busy. The food is first rate, the service is exceptional, and the atmosphere is always lively with satisfied customers.

OMG! This is THE breakfast spot if you're in Chattanooga or just passing through. The service is about as Southern as you can get with the witty personality and charm.
Food prices are VERY reasonable and the portions and quality exceeds expectations.

Great breakfast only 8.50 for all you see I added 2 eggs. Will definitely come again.

Server very friendly. Good down home food and was excellent. First time eating at Wally's. We were seated very quickly. Server was there to take our orders within a couple minutes. Orders came really fast. Definitely going again.

This is a must go to restaurant if you are visiting Chattanooga TN. We stopped in for breakfast and had a huge meal for a decent price. Also the hot cakes are the best that I have ever had, crispy around the edges and fluffy in the middle, beautifully cooked. We will definitely be coming back next time we pass through! Comfort food...chicken n dumplings rolls..baked beans..iced tea...had lunch here after dr visit up the street...forgot to mention banana pudding for desert...can't go wrong if you're in the area
