The Roost

Stopped in for some lunch and very glad that we did. The service was super friendly and on point. The food was very tasty. We had the fish and chips and a bacon burger. The fish and chips were good. Nothing super special but tasty and cooked perfectly. The burger was really good! The meat was very tasty and cooked to perfection and the patties are made to order so they're always fresh. The atmosphere is also very cozy.

Exactly what you think it will be. Good mountain town bar, decent beer selection, full bar, exactly the bar menu you'd expect. Friendly staff, good atmosphere. Just a nice, homey place to get bar food and a couple beers with family or friends.

If you are going to Tamarack resort, you should stop here on the way. The food is better, and it's less "resort vibes" (and less resort prices). Worth a visit!

Excellent clam chowder, waitresses was very nice with our large group. We sat outside, just wish there was more shade but I guess a recent wind storm tore down their shade cloth. Some of what our group had included the prime rib dip, salad/soup, turkey avocado sandwich - everyone loved their meal.

Good food! The waitress was helpful when we found out they were out of the dish I wanted. I will be eating there again.

We are not bar people but was starving so stopped at this amazing place and the food was soooo good and the staff was just as amazing .We will be back for sure.

This place rocked! I got a BLT and it was really yummy! Bacon was cooked perfectly and had big slices, fresh lettuce and tomato, and the fries that I dipped in ranch were really good too. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

I wish I could give more stars for the service!!! Jess is a god send and deserves an honorary cape ! Truly, it's hard to find people who care, especially for strangers, she's beautiful and kind and I've just had the best chili I have ever had !!!

A McCall institution, we had a pre Thanksgiving dinner with some family. Great burgers and my finger steaks with fry sauce were goooood. Not fine dining like the Shore Lodge across the street, but a nice place to take the family for a great meal.

Seems to be a local hangout. Very rustic with rooster vibes. 🐓 Appearance is reminiscent of an old west saloon.

Food was great and the staff was friendly and efficient. Had a "homey" feel to it.

The clam chowder and chili were outstanding. Good fish and chips and coconut shrimp as well.

Had a great experience at The Roost. Great customer service. Great beer on tap. Burgers were delicious and the homemade mashed potatoes were perfection.

Three of us went for Dinner on their second night being open. Atmosphere buzzing with very happy patrons and Staff. Service was great and the food exceptional. Wonderful addition to our town.
