Boedecker Bluff Natural Area

Very nice local lake that is kept pretty clean. Nice place to fish and relax. This is a wake less lake so that makes it pretty calm for a great day on the water. About 1/2 of the lake can be accessed by foot.

Beautiful bluff and Lake to walkabout. Wish there was parking here.

Nice place to walk. Fishing and boating is also available.

An interesting however small Natural area. You cannot park near it anywhere except the neighborhood street parking, which means you walk to the area to then walk around the area. Overall a shorter walk along the shore, but still a pleasant view.

It is a fun little place to ride your bicycle to if you live in Loveland. Very peaceful and a little path near the water

No entry fee. Wakeless makes for a nice paddle boarding experience. Views of mountains and Devil's Backbone. The trail system along the lake isn't ideal as the parking lot does not connect to the trail heading west.

This new natural area in Loveland has beautiful views of Boedecker Lake and the front range. I went in the afternoon and found the trail warm but with good shady spots. The trail itself is easy to walk, wide and well maintained. I like that it hugs the water in the area that loops around.The biggest issue is parking, or lack thereof. It seems it’s all parallel parking right on 1st Street. The north side of the street is all bike lane, so don’t park there! The south side of the street has better parking but you may need to walk along the road to get to the natural area.

Good trail. New area and takes time to develop.
