Evan did a great job recovering my beloved, comfortable shoes. The soles were detaching and he reglued them entirely. I also asked for a change in color and he took very good care of transforming my grey shoes into a beautiful black pair. Thanks for being here in Eagan!

I brought in a pair of my suede Sorel boots to be cleaned. They are 3 years old and I spilled something on one. He was honest and upfront that he might not be able to get the stain out. They turned out great and I got them back sooner than I expected.

Brought my nearly 25 year old Frye harness boots in for a little tender care. They look like new! I am so pleased.

I always put protective rubber soles and tabs on the bottom of my brand new shoes to make them last even longer and not absorb moisture.
I am new to MN so finding a qualified 'Go To' cobbler is important to me.

The picture of my loafers show the sole and heel protector but you don't feel or see the difference just looking at the shoe.

Mike did an awesome job on my Danner boots. I needed the soles replaced as well as some stitching done on the toes. He even conditioned them for me at no extra cost and recommended a pair of insoles. Very reasonable turn-around time and very reasonable price. I will be coming here for all boot needs now.

We went to Mike's years ago when they were at their old location. Lost track after we moved. So extremely happy to find them again! Their work is outstanding and the customer service is great. So patient with me explaining my problem and they came up with a fix right away. Short turn around times. Highly recommend.

I recently relocated to Minnesota and ran across Mike's Shoe Repair which was located next to an eatery. I took a pair of boots which needed heel repairs that I had in my car which they replaced and did an outstanding job! Prices were reasonable and they are conveniently located. It's becoming a challenge to find shoe cobblers and especially quality ones! I highly recommend you try them out and you will say the same!

Mikes Shoe Repair has done wonders on a variety of items for us. They sewed back together well used snowboard boots that pulled apart around the top of the foot at the edges of the laces. (So glad we don’t need to buy new boots!). They replaced a school backpack zipper, extending its life. Besides the typical new shoe soles, they can repair a lot. I highly recommend them!

I took a leather bag into Mike's because the zipper was broken. Evan, the owner could have told me that I needed a new zipper that would have cost $100, which I would have gladly paid. Instead, he said he could just replace the pull, not the entire zipper and it would only be $20. His honesty and the quality of workmanship is the reason I'm giving Mike's a five star rating and this review. I've told friends about Evan's honesty and would gladly recommend Mike's to anyone who wants excellent workmanship at a fair price.
