Franklin's Hoagies

When you get a chance to eat breakfast in a small, cozy neighborhood spot, you try it. Franklins did not disappoint, quirky, fun staff offer quick quality service.

Only ate breakfast twice but it was perfect. Real crispy potatoes, homemade sausage, fabulous bacon I had it all with their ghost pepper sauce. Surprisingly tasty and not unbearably hot.

Honestly, I loved this place and could see my diverting to town just to come here.

This place is really impressive! Amazing service, amazing food. We went for breakfast and our server was very helpful with recommendations. I had the an omelette but the real all-star was the sausage. Absolutely delicious. There are two house-sauces that you must try. One is a horseradish sauce and the other is a ghost pepper sauce. Probably the most flavorful ghost pepper sauce I've had. Go early because this place gets crowded and there aren't very many tables.

While visiting some family, I was recommended Franklin's as the breakfast spot to visit. I was very happy with my meal at this cute little place.

Grabbed some fresh OJ, eggs, sourdough toast, fruit, and their housemade sausage. Everything was delicious, but the sausage was the star of the meal. It had tons of flavor and seasoning. I was very impressed.

My server was super friendly as well.

I wish I lived in CDA so I could come back.

Great sandwiches. Tried the Italian. Very tasty. Could have been a little bigger, but great food. They brought me a bag of chips and I was surprised they were warm inside. Apparently they warm the bags. Who knew???

I love places that have an obvious local atmosphere. You can tell they know their customers. It's great hearing the servers saying hello to the locals as they come in. The food is good. We had breakfast. Our next visit will be for a hoagie.

This adorable little sandwich shop doesn't look like much from the outside but is filled with the best sandwiches we have had in a long time. Everyone was so nice and had sandwiches that pleased everyone including the 2 year old! We will be back soon!

Time and again we are loving this place. We have branched out and tried other places. The vibe, the service, the food and its presentation, freshness and flavor remain a solid “5” EVERY time. Prices are also very fair. My only suggestion is ridiculous but, finding a supplier of top of the line coffee, fresh grinding the beans and having French press would make this a “6 star” place. (Told you, I am ridiculous).

This is a great little place in CDA. We come in every so often and the atmosphere is always fun and enjoyable. Everyone is so nice, people know everyone and the food is always delicious. Glad we have this little nook in our town. Keep up the great job!

We really enjoyed our food here! Very flavorful! There is a discrepancy on the prices I saw posted online. It's actually cheaper than what is posted. Ie: online, the price for the Eggs Benedict was $17.95. In person, the menu said $10. I'm not sure why the difference.

May be the best sandwich I have ever had and sitting at the bar watching the guys cook was magical. Highly recommend!!

Wow, killer breakfast and lunch. They make all their own stuff, and it shows. Seating is a little tight, but there is an outdoor patio, and the service is great. Well worth it if you're hungry.

This hole in the wall was amazing! It is tiny so be prepared to wait. The menu is large compared to the place itself and everything on it, is sooooo good. It is laid back as you yourself write your name on the waitlist. They do offer a few canned cocktails, beers, and champagne. It is a lot of food for the price. The staff is super chill and kind. The food is why you come and the reason you'll go back.

Fabulous place. A short walk from my resort. Great food, friendly service, and good prices. My breakfast was the daily special and tasted great. Seemed to be favored by the locals.

Chicken fried steak was a little small but delicious and the gravy was amazing.
The staff was fantastic - like beyond friendly and helpful.
It’s tight in here but so cute and definitely going to be a spot we hit again.

Update: this is legit a year later and I got the French dip and it was so good I went back for another the following day. Like. The meat to bread ratio was perfection! Ya know when you eat a French dip and allllll the meat just falls out of the sandwich bc its overloaded? Ya no not this. Amazingly flavorful.

This place is a perfect stop on a weekend morning for some deliciousssssss food. Awesome service, great prices, and too many excellent choices to choose from on the menu. Always stuffed full when leaving. Highly recommend.
