HIDDEN GEM! I was so excited to stumble upon this restaurant in downtown Simpsonville where the choices are SLIM. Fantastic authentic food, great servers and a relaxing vibe. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but you won’t be disappointed! I travel alone for business although this place is great for dates and groups as well. I sat at the bar, which has chargers below it just inviting you NOT to be in a hurry. Had the best chat with the staff who were super chill since I had brought a book with me to read. I had just a few samplings and they brought me some edamame to try. Literally the best I’ve ever had. The salad was full of flavor, the miso soup, everything was delicious. It’s not often you stumble across these establishments, can’t wait to go back!

Update June 2nd visit. We took friends last night and all were impressed and vowed to return soon. I want to recommend the chimichuri steak. A good sized portion with an exciting asian twist on the sauce with hints of mint and lemongrass. My taste buds were thrilled. The duck breast is also excellent. We nibbled on the corn ribs appetizer, a slightly messy but fun finger food. My friend loved her pisco sour and my summer in Saigon was as delicious as ever.

I've been here two times now and each time everything has been spot on. The bar is great and the cocktails are decadent. I tried the Summer in Saigon and fell in love with the exotic flavors of the yuzu, ginger and sesame oil mixed with tequila. The food has adventurous Asian slash Latin fusions. Staff are excellent, atmosphere is trendy and relaxing. So glad we have an alternative to heading west from our Eastwood home now that traffic has gotten so heavy on Shelbyville Rd. (Valhalla PGA) Very pleasant and delicious. Tip...the edamame is amazing.

This place just did a soft opening a couple weeks ago, they don't even have their sign up yet. This is the first time I've seen a Peruvian-Asian fusion restaurant, and it was excellent. The owner stopped by and talked for a minute, and you could see his enthusiasm. The service was attentive without being intrusive, the lighting and atmosphere in the place was warm and comfortable. The food was realllllly good! I hope this place finds the attention it deserves.

Cozy little spot that serves Viatnamese, Peruvian fusion food. The food is wonderful and unique. We had the Bao appetizer and I had the ramen. I also had their lychee martini which was crisp and fresh tasting. It really complimented the flavor of lychee and without losing the delicious lychee flavor! Can't wait to come back to try the duck dish.

This place is great. The atmosphere is really cozy, perfect for a date night, and the food was incredible. We got the Bao Chon Chicharron for an appetizer, a leche martini, Udon Saltodo, and the Mundos Ramen. It was all amazing, but the ramen broth is like crack! Highly recommended.

What a fantastic new restaurant to come to town! Everything about the new restaurant was wonderful. From the delicious food to the expedient and friendly service, this gem will be a frequent visit for me in the future. Our table partook of tequenos as an appetizer and then there were four different dishes enjoyed by all: Ahi Poke Tuna, Mundos Ramen, Chuleta Kan Kan, and Arroz Chaufa.

Dos Mundos - Peruvian &Asian Fusion. This is a must try if you love good food, great service, great people and an atmosphere that I can only describe as perfect.
Let's start with the food. You won't know what to pick. We watched delicious and well presented dishes flow from the kitchen. This is the time when we decided the choice is not so hard anymore, we will be back.
For appetizers we shared the Bao Con Chicharron, crispy pork buns. There are no words to describe the explosion of favors. This is a must try. We combined these buns with Tequienos, cheese Wonton with a side of fresh guacamole.
For our main course, my wife had Mundos Ramen with chicken. This is by far the best ramen bowl we have ever tasted. I had the Arroz Chaufa, Peruvian Fried Rice with chicken. What a great change up on fried rice. It's drizzled with a chili oil and topped with a fried egg. Fantastic.
A great meal is not complete without a drink. Check out the bar. It has a cool vibe that flows throughout the restaurant. Make sure you try their signature drink, Pisco Sour. It's impressive.
Now for the staff and service. This is our second visit and certainly not our last. We already feel like part of the family. The staff is so friendly and attentive. Luis and staff, thank you for two amazing evenings. You have a couple of friends for life. We are so glad your resturant is so close to home. Thank you.

If you are looking for casual dining, a gathering place to catch up with friends or a romantic evening, Dos Mundos is your place.

This being a Cuban/Asian fusion restaurant, I had to try it. The server we had was excellent (didn't catch his name) but he had excellent suggestions and was very attentive and pleasant.

To give you an idea of how amazing the food was, I love plantains. I get them everywhere, and I got them here too. The plantains were as good as ever here, BUT they were the least impressive thing we tried. I posted pictures of everything we tasted, and Every. Last. Thing. Was. Really. Good.

First off, the service was excellent. The young gentleman who served us was extremely attentive and provided a great dining experience. I had the Wing Wednesday special with a Peruvian sauce. It was delicious.

Every wing lover knows you can’t have enough napkins. I have never had a waiter observe the lack of napkins on the table and offer to bring more on his own doing. This gentleman offered to bring me more napkins and blue cheese when he saw I was low. These are 2 things that make him no less money. Instead of up-selling me, he cared about my overall experience. That is why family-run businesses like Dos Mundos are so great. THEY CARE!

Next time you are near Simpsonville, go to Dos Mundos. My wife and I can’t wait to return.

Food was excellent. The service was on point and was not disappointed. If your looking for a new place to try, this is it. We will definitely be back, hours are much better than the last restaurant at this location.

I always love going here especially for A date night with my wife. The food is so great! The ambience is perfect, you won't find anything on the menu anywhere else, it's A cross between Peruvian and Vietnamese food. The service is second to none.

Everything was delicious! Family of 5, everyone ordered something different and it was all great. Finally found place to get some duck.

Dos Mundos is a gem! My husband and I stopped in for the first time for a late lunch after shopping, and we were really impressed with their Peruvian-Asian fusion menu. I appreciate that they have plenty of small plates to try a variety of flavors. We shared tequenos, and I ordered the bahn mi and spring rolls for my entree. My husband had the ahi tuna poke bowl with extra chili crisp. Our meal had the freshest ingredients and was an umami bomb. Great cocktails and chicha morada. Outstanding service too…everyone was friendly and attentive, and the place overall had a chill vibe. If we are back in town, we would love to dine here again. Don’t skip this place. It’s a great one!

Really a phenomenal restaurant off the beaten path from Louisville but cannot recommend highly enough. Great food. Great cocktails.

This was our first time but not our last time! Food , service and atmosphere was outstanding. We made our own version of tapas ordering multiple items from the appetizer menu, all of our choices were delicious. I would recommend the restaurant highly.

Dos Mundos is a welcome addition to our little town's small number of eateries. My wife and I visited recently during mid-afternoon with some friends. The young owners and staff were super friendly. The space is warm and inviting. Due to the time of day, we had it to ourselves except for one other family. Three of us chose Arroz Chaufa, a spicy Peruvian style fried rice. It was indeed spicy, and I declared it the best fried rice I've ever had. I think I could live on it alone! Plus the egg on top! Viva Dos Mundos!
