Acropolis Diner

My favorite diner. Food is always delicious. Place is alwaysss clean and staff are very nice!

The burger and fries were great. The service was great too. The only thing I'd give a 3 is the Calamari for the taste. Everything else was great!

4:00 in the afternoon for breakfast (don't ask me why), so I Googled places near me that serve breakfast all day. I've driven by this diner quite a few times. I've never been there before. I had a craving for bacon eggs over easy and hash browns with some decaf. And it was perfect. I loved it. it hit the spot. First time there, but I'm going back again.

Late night food option and they did not disappoint! Hot food, fresh taste, even the coleslaw was good!

Good food and great atmosphere. Staff is very friendly. Great prices too. Top tier diner.

This meal was fantastic! The spinach pie or spanikopita, was excellent! I also had 50/50 unsweetened iced tea with lemonade and it was refreshing. Service was also excellent.
I'd highly recommend this diner!

Greek burger (I had it on a kaiser roll) was amazing!
I believe my waitress was named Liz, and she was great! Clean, nice diner. Price was reasonable.

Walked in a bit before closing for takeout and was greeted by a very sweet waitress who informed me that they were no longer seating, sounding genuinely apologetic, I told her I just wanted takeout and she quickly took my order and whisked it off into the kitchen. The waitress kept checking on me, chatting and such as I waited. The time passed quickly. Reasonably priced. And the food was great.

acropolis is the best diner in hamden! they have an amazing staff that is always welcoming and their food never misses. they’re open at the perfect hours and allows for late night breakfast grubs. i love it here and i enjoy going all the time! i highly recommend this diner if you’re in the hamden area!

My family absolutely LOVES this Diner!!! The food and coffee are amazing and so is the service. The waitresses are the sweetest and are always so very helpful and pleasant. I am allergic to Onions and I can actually get Home Fries without them here.

I have gone here sporadically for at least 30yrs & never had a bad experience. The food is typical diner food and decent. It aint fancy, but whether you visit for breakfast, lunch or dinner, with family, a date or for a quick bite late at night, you can expect to be served quickly by friendly employees. On my last visit they were severely short staffed, but the hospitality & service did not suffer. There was one cook, 1 waitress & a hostess & they seamlessley took care of several customers for the hour I and my family were there without once losing their cool, and without an excessive wait.
I will undoubtedly return for the next 30 years 🙂

Great food good people

I've been coming here for many years. It's a basic diner. The food is always quite tasty and I always leave satisfied and feel like I got a great deal as well.

The staff is always pleasant, and they support the Girl Scouts by generously offering space out front for cookie booths.

Came here to get brunch. The place was very clean and our waitress (I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to get her name :( )) was super nice to us! I got the fried chicken and waffles and it was delicious 👌. My friend got the BLT with grilled chicken and she said it tasted amazing. Even while we were paying our check the staff were amazing. Definitely recommend coming here for breakfast/lunch/dinner.

You won't be sorry if you choose to eat here. They have a great selection and huge portions - plus not too expensive. We had the hugest portion of chicken in a Chicken Caesar salad I have ever seen. Prime rib was wonderful. No complaints here. Will be making it a regular stop when traveling from NH to NYC. Very friendly folks and plenty to choose from.
