Turkey's Barbecue

Great BBQ, possibly the best in the area. Juicy ribs and brisket are what I can confirm. I'd guess the rest is great too, I'll review again when I try the out I suppose.

I was a Thomas’ groupie for years. Every Tues and Thurs - large rib plate. Heard this was some of the OGs on the pit and drove from Nashville to see for myself. Hallelujah! 🤲 🤲! Same ribs, same pulled pork. same sauce. Should call to make sure they are open. If you loved Thomas’ you gotta go.

I ordered a 1/4 chicken and 1/2 pound of brisket for right around $15. Both meats were delicious and smoky. The brisket was chopped and tender. I’ll visit again!!

I spent $31 on old, dried out chicken and tough ribs. I couldn't even eat the chicken and I tried to fix the ribs up, but it didn't work. I'll keep my other comments to myself.
Fast forward to a few days later. I spoke with Mr Darwin and he wanted to make things right. My food was replaced and it was very good. Thanks for the hospitality.

Got pulled pork and brisket plates. The meats were excellent, very moist, tender, and great flavor. We tried Turkey's potato salad, the baked beans, and Brunswick stew for our sides. The potato salad is great, very flavorful and has a good texture. The Brunswick stew was good, but a little less thick than I prefer. The baked beans were also good. Overall a great meal, I'll definitely be going back.

Food was excellent. Got the bbq chicken with white sauce. And that potato salad is amazing. Will be visiting often.

I love this place and their food. I got 1 whole chicken, 1 lb of brisket, 1 pint of white sauce, 1 pkg of buns, 1/2 pint of baked beans, 1/2 pint of potatoe salad and a lg sweet tea. All of that came to $57.71. It's pricey but VERY GOOD!!!

Stopped by for the first time and got a pork sandwich with slaw and one rib, no sauce on either, for testing purposes only. Rib was smoky, flavorful and bone-sucking tender. Sandwich was tasty and juicy enough to make the bun a little soggy, just like I like it!
Now that I know, I'm a regular customer.

The employees at this establishment are super nice! They were apologic when they were out of pulled pork and offer alternatives. Took time to answer our questions about menu items. Left with a pulled turkey sandwich and rib sandwich. My son loved his turkey sandwich! At first I thought $9 was a lot for a rib sandwich, but when I saw the quantity and quality..well it was well worth the price. We will be returning 😄😄

This place is excellent and if you liked the old THOMAS PIT BBQ it tastes identical. Ribs, pulled pork, white sauce, potato salad. Its excellent, and the guys that cook etc worked at THOMAS PIT, like i said great, they are even open on Sundays. Be sure to go and support them, they deserve it

The young male in the window was very polite, and you don't have to wait long on your food.

I wish I had a picture to share but I ate it too fast. THIS PLACE IS SOO GOOD, my turkey plate was AMAZING. It was so flavorful and juicy, the sides were perfectly seasoned too. I can’t wait to get back

I tried the whole chicken with white sauce and I have not found better chicken anywhere in the Harvest area. Very moist and without the heavy smoke flavor found at other barbecue restaurants. Just right. The sides where also very good. At a reasonable price, I would recommend trying it. I will be back.

I've only been able to try them once, but was extremely pleased with my experience with them, I will definitely be trying them again, the food was excellent 👌 😋

SO good, I don't know what the other reviews are saying. If you ever visited Thomas' BBQ in Madison before it closed, you HAVE to try this place. It's close, the ribs, chicken, white sauce and hot sauce were to die for. We're literally going back tomorrow. SO worth it.

BEST BBQ EVER!!! I'm talkin tender smoked magic with every bite. Their hot bbq sauce is a nice kick that mellows out fairly quickly, a perfect balance of sweet and savory. Can't wait to come back!

I see some negative reviews and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. It's actually an easy decision for anyone who has lived in this area for any length of time. Remember Thomas Pit BBQ? Remember the drive thru line snaking through the parking lot and out toward 72? That was for the same sauce, food and sides served at Turkey's now. If that isn't what you're looking for then go to Ricks in the old Thomas Pit location. You definitely don't have to worry about those long lines if that's your cup of tea.

Turkey's supplied the food for our sons rehearsal dinner. The guys at Turkeys were great at helping plan for the amount of people that we have at the event. Mike and his staff did an excellent job with the food and it was delivered on time and was fresh. Thanks to Mike and all of his staff for making our event great

We had a pork BBQ sandwich each and they were really good! I liked the food better than the well known places in the area. 👍

I love Turkey's BBQ. Is basically an old BBQ spot with a new name. They really the old Thomas Pitts that shut down a while back. All the former workers work @ Turkey's. So it's the same great tasting food.
