Boss Dawg BBQ

The Brunswick stew is one of the best we have ever had and we have tried many! The ribs were so moist and falling off the bone, their sauces are delicious and one of the best smoked wings I have had! Crisp on the outside and tender inside and they are the whole wing which I love! Their sides are spot on, baked beans were delicious, macaroni and cheese was outstanding, in our top 2 barbecue places we have been to and the staff are great!

Great southern food with the southern hospitality. It's definitely a great night out with the wife. Yes, the return is in order.

We had to return and enjoyed the pulled pork plate and my wife said " it is almost as good as my daddy's BBQ" that's saying a lot this time met Barry, really nice guy and he was interested in my photos from a year ago. So as always new photos are up.

Excellent BBQ! The ribs, pulled pork, mac n cheese and the banana pudding was all amazing.

Ordered delivery tonight. First time trying Boss Dawg BBQ. We ordered pulled pork, stew, slaw, mac n' cheese, and chicken mull. Also ordered banana pudding and peach cobbler. Everything was very good, we will be ordering from here again. Thank You !!

The wait was long because they were very busy due to it being lunch time, but it was well worth the wait, the pulled pork was amazing the service is excellent, and I love there sweet tea. If u come through the area give them a try it’s very good

They opened 30 minutes early for our big group after a 4th of July parade. The food was awesome and so was the staff. Will definitely be going back.

Great BBQ and sides. Best brisket I have ever had! 2 hours away from me, but worth the drive.

If ya want some southern BBQ. This is the place to go .was in town dropping off a customer that moved back home. Was on way out saw this gem n Parked my semi on side of the road .you definitely won't be disappointed. I recommend all sides and dishes ..I got the ribs and I gotta say they are some of the best ribs I've had .moist tender perfect. I like to call myself a bbq comisuer. Top 10 bbq places I've been to and I've driven all over the country. I highly recommend them you won't be disappointed.

in the area for some college tours with my dad, stopped here for a quick lunch and it was wonderful. i’m a picky eater, but i got the pulled pork plate with baked beans and fries. probably the best pulled pork and fries i’ve ever tasted, beans were wonderful too just not my favorite i’ve had. service was very wonderful, loved the buildings interior. staff was kind and the food got delivered quickly. will definitely be back if i get a chance. thank you!!

I thoroughly enjoy going to Boss Dawg BBQ. The food is delicious, and the service is great. Oh yeah, if you’re having a down day try the Chicken Mull. It will cure what ails you.

Stopped by on an Athens trip for the 7 dollar pulled pork sandwich . Later down the road I wished I had purchased 2.The sandwich had a hefty portion of meat smoked just right and a great tasting red vinegar sauce. At most bbq places after I sample them I usually say" I can do better on my smoker grill at home". Not this time!

My husband and ordered takeout. I had the brisket sandwich,with fries. He ordered the pulled pork and had fries with his. We also had ordered desserts. Banana pudding and peach cobbler. The food was excellent. The brisket was very tender and the pulled pork was tender. Fries were also good. Dessert was great. We will probably be ordering food again. Service was great. Very friendly.

The brisket plate is excellent. We also ordered the stew, which is sweet, tangy, and a hint of spicy. The mac n cheese, fries, and coleslaw are also very good. This side of town has a great selection of BBQ. Will definitely be going back again!

I was patiently waiting for this place to open and it was worth the wait. The pulled pork was delicious, mac and cheese was cheesy and the Brunswick stew was hot and comforting. The sweet tea I don’t know if it was homemade but it tied it all together greatly. I’ll definitely be returning for more!

Portions are a little small, and I prefer cornbread with my stew and mull but it was very delicious.

I ordered take out. The ribs were the best I've ever had! The pulled pork, baked beans, and Mac -n- Cheese were awesome too! I will definitely be back often.

Stopped by to check it out. Was not disappointed. Awesome pork sandwich and stew. The chicken mull is awesome. Definitely going back. The brisket was awesome tender and juicy.

Today was me and my wife first time visiting and I must say, everything was wonderful. Everything we ordered tasted great. Great customer service as well. Looking forward to returning.

The ribs were to die for. Fell right off the bone. Will definitely be back.
