I enjoyed the knowledgeable clerks there, and my two yr old son. Enjoyed seeing so much toys as well. Jeremiah all throughout the store zooming all over grabbing this and showing me that. And the store ppl understood how a child is. So I appreciated their patience ❤

I just bought a switch there today like 5 minutes before they closed and Jesse helped me out! He was so professional and nice. I called almost everyday before today to see if the switch came in, and he answered happily and looked up the inventory for me. I really appreciated all his help, the man deserves a raise!!!

The staff is always friendly and fun to talk to! They are very knowledgeable about current and upcoming games. The store is always stocked with everything I want! Games, Funko pops, Pokemon plushies, tiny little trinkets and hats! I love this place so much it's my Go to Game Stop in Athens!

I feel welcome every time I come to this gaming shop. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about games, so you can tell they both play and work hard to be good at what they do. The store is clean and well organized. They fit a lot of good games into a small space. They have a lot of good deals, with games for people of all ages. You can get a power up rewards card to help you save on games and accessories, and it works even if you forgot to bring it. All you have to do is provide the phone number you signed up with. They have gift cards for various systems, a couple of test gaming stations, and even cool t-shirts. Great, fun place with a variety of games, gear, collectables, and overall a warm, comfortable atmosphere. Great location in the Walmart shopping center on Lexington Road in Athens. Be sure to stop by. Your gaming just got an upgrade, with this awesome shop with the best staff. Happy gaming!

Great customer service, never had to return any merchandise (unless I was trading it in for store credit for next purchase because I was done with game or system). Most staff knowledgeable on their stuff if one doesn't know the other employee working does. Even when they were training a new guy it was a smooth experience.

I love this place they have good prices, and the worker are really nice. I go there in my free time it is fun looking at what types of different products they have in the store.

The service here is excellent! And they always seem to have what I'm looking for in-stock. Employees seem very knowledgeable about both upcoming and old-skool games. I haven't done any trade-ins with them though so I'm not sure how "fair" the trade-in value is

I usually have a great experience whenever I go to a Gamestop, and this store is probably one of the best I've been to. I've seen a few different employees, and every one of them were very friendly and talked about different games for me to consider based on my purchase.

I really liked the employees at this GameStop. My son was wanting a Nintendo 3ds so I decided to surprise him with one for his birthday. I really had no idea what I was supposed to get if I needed to buy any accessories exactly what games to buy and I didn’t want to tip off my kid by asking to many questions. I told the employees what I was wanting to do and ask if they could help me. They showed me the Nintendo 3ds and explained it to me a little. I told them about the kind of games he was wanting they ask a few more questions and picked out a game for me. I ask them if there was anything else I needed to go with it and they said that what I had gotten already was enough to get him started, they didn’t try to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn’t really need!!! My son loved it and the game they picked out for him was the one he wanted!!! YAY!!!

Great staff with even better personalities. Nice getting to talk to people about games without sounding weird. Plus the store is great. Amazing deals and all kinds of games for any console whether it be for xbox, playstation, or switch.

What gamer doesn't like GameStop. GameStop is the go-to place when you need a game they have great prices for used games and it is conveniently located next to Walmart so if you want to compare prices obviously GameStop is the way to go because Walmart sells games for extremely high prices. Always love the ambiance of GameStop all the employees are always nice and their Geeky and they love their work.

Love this store! I come here every year for my B-day and splurge 😂. Jesse was working today and was very helpful!

It's GameStop what more can you ask for from gamers and nerd paradise it's the store other than Walmart than you can go to for your game savvy friend always compare prices online so you get the best deals and pro membership is a must to get the very best experience at your home base away from home

The staff at this location are always attentive and friendly, and it is a lot of fun to go in here. WAY better than the other ones in town, where some people act like they are too good to work in a video game store.

Super nice store to visit especially given as our local store is extremely tiny. This was a welcome change with so much to look at & 2 super friendly gentlemen who went out of their ways to help my boys last night. Definitely recommend checking out this gamestop

I HIGHLY recommend this Gamestop. MaKayla is the best. I had a problem with my son's system not playing games & she helped me & worked with me to get everything working for him then gave me discounts on some extra games for him. Most people wouldn't have went the extra mile like she did.

This store is awesome. Customer service is A1. They keep up with the gaming news and know what's up along with the best accessories for your products.

One of the greatest shopping experiences in all of Athens. Every employee, whether it's Trey, Collin, Terry, Shelley, Mariela, Deysi, or Chris, each employee is very cheerful in greeting every customer. In addition, for those who shop regularly at this particular store, you start to feel like you're really one of the family. Personally, I've been shopping at this same GameStop location for the past 8 years. Even with the seasonal employees, you always get that feel like you belong here, as if everyone truly welcomes you. When you honestly get to know the staff team, they treat you like true friends. Each and every GameStop associate are always willing to collaborate on game decisions, provide excellent game recommendations, as well as just having a friendly conversation about whatever comes to mind. My most heartwarming experience when shopping at this specific store is being greeted by name, by nearly every employee. I would highly recommend this GameStop location, located in the East-Athens Walmart Shopping Center.

The manager or associate I don't know (skinny blonde white guy with green Tshirtof league of justice) was extremely helpful. I wanted FF XV for PS4 preowned and he helped me finding one with original case and also while trading in my FFXV for xbox1 the associate in the front was doing a wrong transaction that I pointed out quickly and again the other manager helped me again! He deserves a 5 stars! I just wished I could have asked his name so this review will acknowledge him... Thanks!
