Harbor House Cafe

My wife and I really enjoy coming here for breakfast and a morning cocktail, especially on an off season weekday. Just a hop skip and a jump from Boulder City and the few people who would be there on a day like that are all locals. Great views, wonderful atmosphere, tasty food and cheap drinks. I love that it feels like a hole in the wall in an otherwise busy corner of Nevada. If there's a bummer part about this place is that you need to have a National Parks Pass or day pass to get here. Otherwise, it's a great way to feel like you're getting away without actually going anywhere too far.

Great little off the beaten path to eat floating on boat dock a football field out on Lake Mead. Good food and great atmosphere. Onion rings and burger at decent price. Has full 🍸. The fish schools outside the restaurant docks wait for scraps like begging dogs.

I visited for the first time in 2021 and I knew that when I get a chance I will go back. This restaurant is in a wonderful spot. The views are amazing. The restaurant itself has such nice servers which makes the experience even better the food is very fresh and hot, and prices are very reasonable. It's about 15 min drive from hoover dam, and there's a fee to enter because it's a national park but it's worth all the money. Will definitely recommend it to anyone who visits.

We were on a trip to Hoover Dam. 7 lads at the end of 5 days in Vegas. Hired a car and drove up to the Dam and bonus, found the Harbour House.
It was the best lager I'd had all week and the turkey, ham and cheese salad was good.

Great breakfast place. Omelettes and home fries were delicious. Service was fast and servers were all very friendly. Place was clean. Prices are very reasonable! Note that you have to pay $25 to get into the place unless you have a parks pass already. We ended up staying and driving along the beaches and the pass is good for 7 days so it ended up being worth it.

Loved the staff, all friendly, welcoming, warm, and very attentative! The whipped cream on the hot cocoa was fresh, cool, thick, and very yummy!!!
The split pea soup tasted fresh - made in house with chunks of ham, sooo tasty and filling, really hit the spot! Two cheese blend on the grilled cheese sandwich, which was perfectly grilled and not over buttered or greasy at all! And, extremely reasonably priced!
And walking out to the restaurant was crazy with all the huge carp just chilling around the walkways/ decks.

Pretty great location. A little off the path to the Hoover Dam and West Grand Canyon, but still convenient. Service isn't strikingly fast, but it wasn't an issue. More time to enjoy the scenery. Food was phenomenal and well priced.

There's a fee to enter Lake Mead, so be aware of that. Breakfast Burrito and the Big Horn were really delicious and the biscuits and gravy were good too.

Love the marina ambience, relaxing, salty, everyone is friendly.
Our server, Erica S. is the balm, she's cool, and knows the Lake.
As soon as you walk in, it has a welcoming feels to it.

It costs $25 to enter the National Park, just to eat this season. Unless you have purchased a national park pass. This should be made clear on the website.

If you visit Hoover Dam early in the day and you’re looking for a low key lunch spot on Lake Mead, check this harbor cafe out. There is an entrance fee to get into the Rec Area of $25, but the experience is just what we were looking for … watching ducks, fish galore, and boats coming in and out of the marina. Food is typical harbor fair and there is a full bar for those interested. ENJOY!!

Had a great day visiting Hoover dam, after everyone was ready to eat. Harbor House is about 10 min drive from the dam. It was awesome eating lunch on Lake Mead. The restaurant is nice, the food fantastic. If I lived here it’s be a favorite spot.

Decent location. Like watching the boats. Service was great. The titanic burger and garlic parm fries were great. My wife got the fish tacos.

We were heading back to Las Vegas from The Hoover Dam and found this place. It's nothing fancy but the location makes up for that. Food was delicious and affordable and waitress was delightful. The view on the lake are well worth the trip. Added bonus... Feeding and interacting with the wild Catfish.

Harbour House is a large space to roam around and watch ducks and seagulls. You can spend hours together here with your loved ones and pets.

Very beautiful and friendly with kind staffs. I really appreciate this place.

A fun place to get out of the sun, have a cold beer and a really good meal. I always have a great time.

What a great random find! Stopped by for breakfast and fell in love with this quaint rustic spot, right on the water.

We like to leave bustling Las Vegas now and then and take short drive to Lake Mead and eat lunch watching the lake water, ducks, other fowl and fish . Always have good service.
