Omg they have the BEST chili cheese fries!! You can order one and share with 4 people! That’s what we should have done but we got 2 orders of chili cheese fries and split a pastrami sandwich.

So filling and so damn good!

Stopped by after seeing xmas lights. It was a great treat. I wanted everything on their menu but settled for a pastrami dip chili cheese fries with pastrami and onion rings. There was 3 adults and 3 kids, and there was plenty of onion rings and fries to share. The pastrami sandwich was pretty good. I wish they offered a nice pickle to go with it. The onion rings are so crispy and delicious, definitely satisfied my cravings. This place is definitely a must try.

If you need a great late night place to study (till 11pm), this is it! Beats any late night diner. Beats the homeless shelters - I mean *Starbucks*. In all my years eating at The Hat, I never realized how great of a place it is for studying late at night. Dining area closes at 11pm. Large tables. Bright lighting. Easy listening music from the 50’s (not overly loud). Super clean tables (staff does a great job). And obviously great food. Okay, so no electric outlets. But this place is safe (no homeless or transients) and the coffee is $1.99.

The staff here are friendly. It gets very busy around 10pm during weekdays. Friday and Saturday nights will usually be more packed all night. Great atmosphere.

Great burgers,sandwiches,drinks,fies,crispy onion rings and ofcourse their world famous pastrami dip sandwich!
We had their pastrami dip on a fresh made French roll,beef dip sandwich a large order of fries( this is a BAG FULL of fries BTW!) onion rings,and large fountain sodas and it really hit the spot!

The best pastrami sandwich I've eaten so far. It was very flavorful and juicy, not dried out.

Double Chili Burger w/o Cheese.

Food is served fast, always hot and delicious. Been coming here for years now and they are consistent and always great to see familiar faces. Eventhough they are famous for their Pastrami I am hooked on the Double Cheese Burger with Chili. If ya get fries a small has a rather decent portion to feed a couple of folks. Their chili is also great for the order they make of chili cheese fries 😃

Well what can I say this place is the bomb. From the pastrami Sandwich (dipped). I always enjoy the chili cheeseburger with extra mustard. The you can top it off with loaded fries. These fries are great stacked with chili, pickles and onion. Stop by and enjoy a fulfilling meal. Also free soft drink refills. Enjoy.

Order at drive through, the food delivery was fast and it was all great. Still hot by the time I got home. Yum! The chili tamale with the works & the chili hot dog with the works were great!

Can't ever go wrong with coming to The Hat for the pastrami. The price has gone up to $11 and change after taxes, but it is well worth every bite. Just in the amount of pastrami that is jam packed in each sandwich, you get your monies worth. 2 people can split one sandwich and be full. The chili cheese fries are great as well.

I am spoiled from The Hat! Best Pastrami I've had, and wow, the portion size is enough to make another sandwich the next day! It's outrageous how good it is. My fiance had a burger, and he liked it! A large fry will feed 3 people, and prices were average

As always, the pastrami sandwich was great and stuffed with meat! Their fries are great too! My Daughter had the pastrami fries and they were topped with a ton of pastrami, they were delicious.

This place was great. Very kind. Great service, plus it's on Rt. 66.

Amazing chili cheese fries and sandwiches. You can custom make your food with ANYTHING on the menu. They do need more indoor seating tho. It's been 3 years since I first gave a review for this place. And just like 3 years ago here I am trying to sober up with a girl I hardly know. But shes a looker and those hips and eyes. Not really.

Service was awesome and food is consistently good. Had the chili fries, chili on the side, gravy and a pastrami. Everything was on point and way more than two people can eat. Best $20 bucks I spent in a while. The extra care for how they packed the chili on the side, bag of chili peppers (my fave) and ketchup was what put them over the top on this visit. First time dipping the fries in gravy. Where have they been all my life. I am a convert and may order that instead of chili fries next time :)

We ordered pastrami dip sandwiches, a chili burger, hot dogs, pastrami chili cheese fries and the crunchy crispy onion rings.. Everything was hot and delicious! Great customer service as well, they made sure we had all the condiments, napkins and plasticware we needed.

There's a reason that they call The Hat "World Famous." Because their pastrami is legendary. But so are their burgers, chili dogs & roast beef. And let me warn you,,,the chili cheese fries and the pastrami fries are NOT a side dish. They are a complete meal. So if you order either one, bring friends and share. Because that is way too much food for one person.
