Sherwood Diner

Was in the neighborhood and decided to try out this diner! To my surprise they were great! Super good food, big portion size and nice/ attentive stand. My roast beef sandwich was so delicious can’t wait to go back!

I dropped by this place when I visited target. It seemed to be an original diner. The diner had a huge space.

I ordered a milkshake, Chicken Quesadillas, and potato skin as an appetizer. All the food was tasty and authentic.

Please be aware that dishes were amican portions so they were huge. Considering to order an appetizer it was the same as having a main dish.

I’m so glad we came here instead of Applebees! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The food came fast and hot. We got bowls of coleslaw, pickles, macaroni salad and buns with butter for free as appetizers and then the portions were huge, we ate leftovers for dinner! I forgot to take more pictures because I was hungry and tired but man this place was great.

Great food, fast friendly service and nice atmosphere. Very good place and would definitely come back to try other dishes.

Before we even ordered we were served bowls of coleslaw and pasta salad with rolls and pickles. I honestly got full on that before my meal came. The food was good and had huge portions but was unseasoned. I had to add lots of salt and pepper. The atmosphere was a cute old school diner but nothing extraordinary. Our waitress Esha was very polite. The photo is the Romanian steak and stuffed shrimp.

I have been coming here for years atleast 15 years. I absolutely love and adore Lilly. She is who keeps me coming back. The food is iffy but her service is amazing. The owner is rude and disgruntled and doesn’t have a smile, happy bone or thank you in his body but he watches that register like a hawk. I go in once a week, get the cheers hello, greet Lilly and she just brings me my order which never changes. It’s a home away from home but if she was to ever leave so would I.

Your meal starts deli style with macaroni salad, coleslaw, and pickles. The Mac is ordinary, the pickles have good crisp snap and excellent garlic flavor, but the slaw... fresh, crisp with vinegar, a touch of garlic, salt, and sugar. Loved it.

Killer chicken soup with fresh white meat, carrots, and celery, just like grandma made.

Next, the hot open face roast sirloin with brown gravy. They obviously roast their own. There is a touch of medium rare, tender, like butter beef. The servings are HUGE. Gravy is excellent 👌

The mashed potatoes are like grandma's. The green beans al dente'.

Dessert is their style of lemon meringue pie, just the right sweet and tart.

This is the best diner we hit in years.

I live in Manhattan and always look forward to stopping by when I am in the area! Their kale salad is better than anything I can get in the city—and don’t forget to order their special pancakes! Great service and staff.

My recent visit to Sherwood diner was awesome. I've visited Sherwood many times in the 90's and the food, service and atmosphere was always great. Sometime in the last decade I visited and it was just okay. After some years away and some skepticism I'm so glad to say Sherwood has redeemed itself with me.

The staff are welcoming, attentive and go above and beyond to accommodate patrons. During my last visit I ordered a walnut salad with grilled salmon and avocado. Wow! Huge portion, flavorful, fresh and simply delicious.
I love the fresh bread, macaroni salad and cole slaw they bring out in the beginning. So good!

Our waiter attended to a group of about 15 and did an excellent job. I commend them for building a great culture and keeping the food high quality. I will be returning and recommend this place to others.

Its a place that is so comfortable and the food is great and at a great price point. We started going here when our son was born and he loves it here (7 years old) Lilly always takes care of us and my son enjoys seeing her

Very spacious diner with a big catalog of dish to choose from. The burger selections are plenty and good. If you are hungry, you can't go wrong with this place. Easy to get to off the freeway.

Your classic bacon cheeseburger-amazing! A new try- pan seared salmon with spinach and mushrooms. Will definitely try that dish again. Friendly staff.

My new go-to diner. The food is hearty, the service is quick and the price is right.

We recently went for breakfast and a meeting, we were comfortably seated in an area that accommodated our discussions. The staff was lovely and the food (banana Walnut pancakes with bacon and eggs) was wonderful.

Never a bad meal here. My favorite diner when I'm in the area.

Absolutely magnificent. Been eating here for over 20 years and it has done nothing but improve throughout the years.

The food was excellent 👌 , the service was good the guy was efficient but not really helpful as it was our first time here. We asked him questions and it seemed he was in a rush and I understand it's busy but sometimes being patient and helpful is good ,I'm a waitress I know first hand
