Excellent food. I recommend getting any of the tacos. They are loaded! If it's not spicy enough for you, ask for their house made hot sauce. The staff are also very welcoming. My wife and I had a fantastic experience. My favorite taco was the lobster truffle taco. Delicious!

We were looking for a bite before fireworks and she was able to get our food, which the steak fajita was delicious, quickly without feeling rushed!

The variety of the dishes is extensive; this is not your typical "Tex-Mex" menu. The carmelized onions prepared by Chef Josh are especially delicious. Put them on everything! Get there early or be prepared to wait as this is a very popular place. The bar is roomy and quite lively with quick service despite the crowd.

The Watermelon Margarita was delicious as our food, which was an assortment of tacos. All were different, but equally tasty! Great atmosphere and decor. Our server, Lindsay was super attentive and friendly!

Anyone who rates this place below 4 stars is ludachris. This is an amazing new edition to not only Essex but the shoreline! It’s a fun and expansive menu (plus specials) and they executed every single dish! Difficult to do for anywhere, let alone opening month. Special shoutout to Joe, our awesome server!!

Had a great experience here tonight. The food and drinks were very good, things were reasonably priced, and had good portions. Staff was friendly and working together smoothly to work out any kinks or confusion of opening.

We were a table of four and tried the ceviche, tostadas and ribs for appetizers. There was plenty of each dish for of us to split, they had great flavors. For entrees our table had the mole, steak fajitas, lobster enchiladas and one of the rice bowls. They were all delicious everyone was really pleased with their dish, and the lobster enchiladas, -they were thic. The sauce on them was incredible and didn’t overpower the flavor of the lobster.

The blue margarita and chili mango were table favorites for drinks. Really looking forward to exploring more dishes on the menu and giving desert a try.

If you're looking to make your food spicier, they have two house made hot sauces available. And I always recommend making any margarita a spicy unless you're a smoky mezcal lover ~ then the smoked poblano is the one!

It was a super busy Saturday night, but we were seated in the timeframe they estimated. My cocktail, salsa flight, and ribs were awesome. Will absolutely be back.

I recently had dinner at the bar, great food, margaritas and atmosphere, bartender Az (?) was a pro, who will quickly have a following. Well worth the drive-shoreline people!

I can’t recommend Sayulita in Essex enough! Jordan and the crew are killing it! Delicious cocktails, yummy apps and scrumptious mains 😋 And we don’t have to drive all the way to Glastonbury anymore!

Tacos here are amazing. Lots of filling and very tasty. Homemade guacamole and salsa is also yummy.
