My bf and I were pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant last Saturday. We walked in and were greeted with a smile. The place is well put together. The service was quick and the server was attentive. But let me tell you about the food….wow. That’s all I can say! Amazing. I had the goat cheese burger. It was cooked to perfection. The goat cheese was creamy and had the little tang you expect. The pickled onions hit it out of the park. The cowboy beans, or as I would call them memaw’s beans, took me back to when I was a kid. My bf had the tacos which is a favorite there. This was lunch! I can’t wait to go back and try the dinner menu!! I highly recommend

Smoke Cantina was fantastic! The food, especially the appetizers, were incredible. Loved the atmosphere and ended the night on a sweet note with an affogato. Highly recommend!

If I could give more stars ... I would! This place is an absolute gem. I've been following the homegrown kitchen and smoke cantina for probably 2 years and this weekend I finally got to give it a try. It absolutely did not disappoint! Great service from a longtime friend Tawnya, incredibly delicious food and great ambiance. I will be recommending and be visiting any time I get the chance. We had a spicy lime creme brulee that we just had to have again before we left town so we went back today on our way out of town. In today's visit we got to meet the manager ( who was top notch) and extremely accommodating. What a treat! If you havnt tried this place.. you are missing out! Thank you Smoke Cantina crew we will see you on our next visit from Florida!

The food here was fresh, fantastic, and a wonderful play on the senses. The chef’s use of textures is genius. I would recommend the crab sandwich, homemade ricotta, and tamale cakes! The tamale cakes were especially tasty. My (albeit small) gripe is that the room does not have enough soft items in it. While we were there another larger group was having lunch, the volume in the room was overwhelming at times. I will reiterate, still go here! The menu is fun and has something for everyone to love.

Delicious food! I had a full chicken Caesar salad, my husband had the pizza, and my daughter had Macaroni & cheese with fruit. The chicken Caesar salad was very good with fresh romaine lettuce, real cheese, croutons, and juicy chicken. My daughter’s macaroni and cheese was very creamy real cheese with cavatappi noodles (I think). The fruit was fresh and tasty too! I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for good dining in Franklin, PA!

Our first time at this lovely decorated restaurant in Franklin. The atmosphere was warm, our server was friendly, and the food was out of this world. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and everything was delicious. This is a must-visit if you're in NW PA!

Our first time dining here and the previous reviews did this place absolutely justice. It was Taco Tuesday and the Tamale Cake, Southwest Crab Cake and the Tacos were so delicious. The pairing of different flavors is unexpected and divine. The quality and creativity of their food and can easily compete with the best of NYC, and I'm not exaggerating! We'll definitely be back, checking out their regular menu. A great addition to Franklin!!

My husband and I tried Smoked Cantina for the first time tonight and to say we were pleasently impressed is an understatement. The food was so flavorful, tender and presented beautifully. We could not stop raving about how delicious every single bite was. It was absolutely Devine! Upon arrival it seemed a bit loud but there was an event going on in down town Franklin and it was a Friday night. But the minute our food came out we completely forgot about the noise. My husband and I got a cutlery board to share for an appetizer and he got the seaseme tuna, i got the New York strip steak with the garlic curry sauce for our main dishes. For my side I choose the mac and cheese and it was so delicious. The bread crumbs on the top created the perfect touch and the cheese was so creamy! We finished off the night with biscoff cookie butter cheesecake and fell in love with the whole place! Asti was our waitress and did a fabulous job. She was very pleasant and smiling and checked in with us often. We were also excited to see the chef making her way, introducing herself and talking with each table. We will 100% be back!!!

This establishment had a cozy, but higher end, intimate feel. It’s a smaller space, so I would recommend reservations to ensure you can get a table. If you’ve reviewed the menu at this point, you will know that the dishes are on the pricier side. We were able to get parked nearby easily, at the back of the restaurant in the public parking spots. There’s two entrances to the building, front and side; enter in from the side.

The staff was friendly, the vibes were great, the food was great, and overall my friends and I had an excellent experience. My number one tip: go with a group of friends or family and share the food! You will get to try a little bit of everything without feeling tired of one flavor or dish, and it will provide the ultimate experience.

We ordered as much food as we though we could eat; three entrees and 3 tapas (and brought our own wine). We tried the two fish specials and the fried pierogis as our entrees, then the friend green tomatoes, jumbo shrimp (blackened Cajun style), and the tamale cake tapas. By far the tamale cake tapas was my favorite because the flavor profiles of each component were executed perfectly. There were different textures in each bite as well as savory and sweet flavors too. The fried green tomato tapas was good, but didn’t wow me. The flavor of this dish wasn’t comparable to everything else we ordered. The Cajun shrimp was good, stand alone as the flavor was good and with the orange horsey dipping sauce. The grouper had a Cajun seasoning and it was good but it was very over cooked, a tad chewy and had lots of bones in it. It wasn’t a favorite and while we collectively finished all of the dishes, this one we did not. The fried pierogis were great, both in flavor of the pierogis and the toppings. The other fish dish we got was good, very buttery soft tasting with the yuzu sauce on top. There were two dishes that came with a coleslaw side of sorts and I could have did without that. No one really ate it. The max and cheese side we got with one of the meals was good, but I will always prefer my homemade Mac and cheese to anything else I could order. We wanted to get a side of Brussels sprouts but they were opt so we opted for broccolini, which ended up not being broccolini buy regular broccoli. By the end of the dinner I was satiated, but not overly full, as three of us shared 3 entrees and 3 tapas.

I’d recommend trying the tamale cake hands down for anyone visiting, and I look forward to ordering that again! I loved other dishes too, but this one stood out to me the most. I’d also recommend starting with a tapas to share before your entrees as all portions were on the smaller side. I loved the ability to share 6 items off the menu because there were a few things I wouldn’t have wanted to eat only as a meal for myself and loved the option for variety!

I will be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner meal this evening with friends at Smoke Cantina. The food, service, and antmosphere were excellent! Our server, Moira, made the evening meal experience extremely enjoyable. One of the highlights was a personal visit from the chef to describe the variety of tacos Smoke Cantina dreams up across the different days. Of course, we topped our delicious dinner off with an absolutely scrumptious raspberry chocolate cake that looked as delicious as it tasted. Looking forward to our next visit sometime soon.

4 of us came up to Franklin from Pittsburgh (to ride on the bike trail) and stopped into the Smoke Cantina for lunch because the menu posted looked so good! The food was amazing and the service was great! Very flavorful, healthy options. We all recommend it!

Had a great lunch at Smoke Cantina today. I had the turkey club sandwich, my mom had the chicken salad croissant sandwich, and we each paired it with a cup of the broccoli cheddar soup. My niece loved the pepperoni pizza and had the breakfast waffle with ice cream for dessert. Our server Sierra was an absolute gem. Really love what they have done with the place and can’t wait to return for dinner someday.

This place is awesome! Stopped here several months ago and knew we had to come back. The food and service were amazing! The music was a bit loud for my preference, but certainly not enough to keep me away.

I would give it 10 stars if possible! First of all the restaurant is super clean and inviting. You can tell so much intention was put into the design and execution. Every staff member was so kind and helpful. We had 2 appetizers and 4 different dinners at our table and each one was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection! I had the salmon with balsamic glaze and strawberries...One of the best meals I've ever had dinning out! We wll most definitely be back!!

Hands down one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. The crab cake was an amazing appetizer, and the steak was better than Gordon Ramsay’s Steak House in Las Vegas.

Our server, Lindsay, was an absolute ray of sunshine. I hope to be back many times.

Had a lovely date tonight with my hubby. For appetizers we got the lemon grass potstickers (which were very yummy but not very lemon grassy) and the dip trio (yummy).

For our meals I got the stir fry but added steak, which was the way to go. Next time I'm going to ask for the asian sauce on the side as it was a TON of sauce which made it too salty and couldn't really enjoy the coconut rice. My husband got the ribeye with French onion soup. The ribeye was huge and perfectly buttery.

Oh and the homemade lemonade was fantastic!

Will be back!!
